  1. I distinctly remember using these mods for years, but I can't remember the names. It's also possible they never got ported from oldrim. I don't remember which mod was which, but I *think* one was specifically for the Companions? It had MCM options such as making so Kodlak wouldn't let assassins join, and thieves had to pass a persuasion check. I think it also added dialogue options, such as knowing what a "shield sibling" is and that Aela is a companion when you meet her at the giant encounter, and also dialogue options for players who became werewolves before joining using Growl or LAL and similar mods. And the other mod I'm looking for let you change flags for daedric and DLC quests. You could change what level encounters happened at. My favorite use of this mod was to make it so that Miraak's cultists wouldn't approach me until after I killed Alduin, and if I was already a vampire, I could make the Dawnguard orc never try to recruit me. ^Timing Is Everything. My girlfriend found it right after I posted.
  2. I agree completely. Although Alistair's surprise that my Cousland wants to marry him when they're in the relationship is cute, there is so much potential for a more romantic proposal. And I love the idea of them actually talking about it before hand. I'd do this if I were more experienced with the Toolset, but I'm still getting used to making simple armors.
  3. Now that I've figured out the toolkit, I like to make references of my characters, showing them as adults and children. However, the only hairstyles are the braids for girls, and the short hair and bald/crew cut for boys. Is there any way someone could make more styles? Maybe loose hair, longer hair, and ponytails for girls, and longer hair for boys? Or even just making some of the already available hairstyles and resizing them so that they work with the children. If someone can make the hairstyles, I will make morphs for the children in-game (at least the main ones, like Oren and Connor, I'd have to figure out what to name the .mor's for the unnamed children, like the two squires in Cousland castle, and the elven children at Marethari's camp) and upload them, so that not all of the children have the same hair. Also... If anyone is interested in making more adult hairstyle mods, I have several ideas for styles that aren't made yet, but lack the knowledge and skill to make them myself. And the dialog fix I need is hopefully easy to do.. It's nothing major, it's just a slip up that's bothered me ever since I noticed it. In the Dalish origin, Tamlen asks your character something along the lines of "How did you end up coming with me, anyway? Weren't you supposed to be helping Master Varathorn today?" Master Varathorn is the master craftsman of Zathrian's clan, not Marethari's. If somebody could please make him say Ilen instead of Varathorn, I would appreciate it... I know it's only a small slip of the tongue, but it irritates me every time I play the Dalish Origin.
  4. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong category. I finally got the toolset working, and have been experimenting with armors and weapons, but one thing I want is to make my own NPC morphs, and be able to change my characters' looks (add non-vanilla tattoos, change hairstyles, edit the eyebrow and lip shapes, etc.). I can't seem to figure that part out, and I didn't see anything that would help me in the Toolset help topics here, or on BSN. Would anyone be able to help with this, please? Edit// I figured it out. I didn't dig enough before posting. After I woke up, I googled my questions, and found a couple good tutorials, as well as Dracomies' old post from three years ago asking the same question. I might be back for help if I can't find anything on Google that helps me figure out other things I have planned for the toolset.. xD' //Edit
  5. I know exactly what you mean, and usually do the same with my Dalish females, though sometimes they get to romance Alistair. After all, he just lost everything too, so he knows something of how she feels. This (and the desire to make my own armor and hairstyles) is what prompted me to download the toolset, though I'm still trying to figure out how it works... If I ever figure it out though, this will be one of my main projects. That and being able to mourn Nelaros.. After all, even if you didn't want to marry him, he did show that he cared for you from the beginning, and gave his life to protect you. It just bugs me that your options are "PC: He gave his life for me... Soris: Okay, sorry, but let's keep going?" Or "He's dead, we're alive. Let's go." The two elf-origin romances always seemed a bit emotionless to me. The City Elf male isn't much better, but the only way I could see that improving, is maybe if Nesiara was still there when he returned to the alienage. So hopefully I can get the Toolset to work with me so I can fix things for those of us who actually care about the elves we lost when we became Wardens. xD
  6. I doubt anyone will make one. I've seen several requests for it. Personally, I wouldn't want Cullen in my party, unless the mod made it run smoothly into the DA2 storyline, but I would love to see more context to the romance before Amell/Surana leaves the circle (other than the Cullen Romance Mod). Or perhaps something that allows your female mage to mention that she left someone back at the circle tower, and show some reluctance when falling for Alistair, Leliana, or Zevran (or Roland). It just feels to me like all the romance options are too abrupt, especially if your warden cared for someone who was left behind, or died (Cullen, Jowan, Nelaros, Nesiara, Tamlen, Gorim, Dairren, Roland, etc.). And on the same subject, a stand-alone Jowan companion would be amazing, and wouldn't clash too much with the original story, since from what I understand, Jowan was supposed to be part of the group in the first place, but Bioware decided to not include him. Jowan and Roland are really the only origin NPCs that I feel work with the storyline if they travel with you, but that's only my opinion.
  7. I'm not sure if it already exists, but I didn't see it anywhere. I occasionally have a bug where I don't get the pop-up to name my Mabari. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it's annoying, because I hate just naming my dog, "Dog", and I don't really want to play through Ostagar and the origin again (usually the only way I can rename him is to restart the game). Is there any way a console command could be made to rename him?
  8. Just wanted to say, thank you Naomi. I was having the same problem after selling the "Hawk Eye" mod bow, and had tried using "runscript zz_money 5000000", but it never occured to me to just make it a higher ammount. xD
  9. I'm not entirely sure if it's a bug with the mod, or with the game itself, I just only noticed it on my Dalish Mage playthrough. When you're in the ruins, and speaking to Tamlen, if you say "So talk, if it will calm you.", he asks how you ended up going hunting with him, when you were supposed to be helping Master Varathorn that day. Varathorn isn't a member of Marethari's clan though, he's in Zathrian's clan. It should say you were helping master Ilen, should it not? Just wondering if anyone else got that bug. It's not a gamebreaker or anything, I just thought it was funny.
  10. I'm not certain if anyone has had this idea before, but I've had a few ideas running around in my mind for dialog and a story for how Nelaros might have survived the female city-elf origin. I have yet to put them down on paper, but if someone who knows how to make mods is willing to give this a shot, I would love to discuss the details. I might even go so far as to talk to a friend of mine and see if she or her boyfriend would be able to voice him over if this mod is made. I would like to see this mod, even if my story/dialog ideas are not used, so I will be eagerly waiting to see if it gets made. ^ .^
