I would've never thought of editing the map's mesh, I was trying to adjust the player skeleton so that the whole arm would be in different position, but since I had no idea what I was doing I spent 15 minutes just doing random adjustments without getting any results and then got frustrated and came here! :D Only downside remaining now is that the map is floating few inches above my character's hand, but that's only visible in 3rd person view so it doesn't really matter! once again, thank you! :)

But all I need is to move the "shield" couple inches towards top left corner, not a completely new animation! I guess I'll try it anyway, thanks for the tip! Should I let you know if it doesn't do the trick?

I'm using Equip-able Maps for immersion purposes, and there is a slight problem with the map positioning when blocking (that's how you view the map when in 1st person), some southern parts of the map are outside my screen so I can't see them. This is very minor problem but it is still quite annoying. :/ I already tried fixing it using NifSkope, but as you might guess, I had no idea what I was doing and I didn't find any tutorials for this very specific task! So is there an easier way of changing the map's position? Or a quick tutorial video showing how to do this with NifSkope would be great too! :D

So yeah, that's about it. :/ swords and daggers are showing but staves are for some reason not! I found out that other people are having (or have had) this exact problem but no one knows how to fix it. :sad: also, while you are here, do you happen to know what THESE are for in the Leather Backpack mod? (yes, I already know that they are used to hold an items outside your backpack for immersion purposes, but what items?) EDIT: forgot to mention: yes I have the "shows staves" checked in Equipping Overhaul's menu.....

What do you mean? As far as I know it is not a vanilla feature, so it must be part of a mod. And now the question is, which mod is it?

So yeah, usually people are asking how to get that information show up when looking items on the ground, but since I'm more immersion focused, I don't want that. But for some reason one of mods is causing me to see that "unwanted" information and I have no idea which one. I tried looking through MCM but didn't find anything, probably because some of these mods don't have a SkyUI menu. I'd rather not go through the "enable mods one at the time to find which one is causing the problems" route, so I'm asking if someone knows which mod is causing this and how to disable that feature!
