  2. Hi! I'm a trained 3D generalist in 3D modeling and animation using Maya,Zbrush and Substance Painter. I'm also autistic and have been wanting for years to work alongside someone so I can learn how to mod for Skyrim and FNV as I love both games and I think it would be fun to throw my weird fanart and creatures into these games! long-term mod goal is merging the players upper body skeleton with the lower-body of a small designer breed of dog! (Zuchon) so it looks like the dog is using telekinesis to wield weapons and I can be the doggokhiin! after that I want to try making another version of it where its a talking custom voiced follower with custom animations for smithing and baking and such! the problem with my modding journey is that Blender is not compatible with my brain and I refuse to get bald patches within 2 weeks after downloading it again! does anyone have any workflows/plugins/advice that could help me get my work from Maya into the CK and then into Skyrim SE for starters? I'm a total rookie and my only CK knowledge was my mod "EDE Iconic" for FNV which was just a few small tweaks, any advice would be appreciated! I use Maya 2023.3 and do all of my animation manually! I can make very basic rigs for Maya for animation purposes too! I learn better when working with someone on a project so if you need any animations do let me know!   3. my dream mod would be to combine the player skeleton with a dog skeleton but make the player invisible so you play as a tiny fluffy magical dog that looks like its using alteration magic to wield weapons and cast spells! doggokhin is my dream!

  6. Hello! I was hoping that some brilliant modder here would kindly help me out with my mod idea! I want to play as a magic dog! the only way I can see it working would be to somehow combine both of the skeletons for the dog and the player! that way the player mesh could be made invisible and the dog would appear visually to be controlling weapons and fighting using advanced Telekinesis! I looked into doing this a few years back but sadly could not figure out how to do it! I tried to use the cute floppy eared white dog from this mod https://www.nexusmod...3752?tab=images (the 4th and 5th pic have the floppy eared baby) when I tried importing the skeletons for both the dog and the player skeletons it just broke! trying to merge a root bone just caused everything to explode for me... so I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me! I don't care how odd it looks playing as a dog in 3rd person... I think it would be super fun! just to summarize and clarify! both animation sets would work! so all of the animations for the player would stay intact! the catch is that the player model is completely invisible! and the dog it attached to the player character! so all of the dog animations are intact as well! the player moves and the dog walks the player crouch walks and the dog does... whatever dogs do...crawling? I don't know if there's an animation for that and I don't really care! if anyone here would kindly help me out with this (either telling me how to do it in nifskope or kindly making this a reality) I would be extremely grateful!

  8. so...I was playing skyrim SE and all was well until I suddenly decided to enchant my fur armor...this is a low level character...the next thing I know ALL the armpits are weighed incorrectly! even a full purge of mods a new game and even a uninstall/reinstall did not fix this! its most noticeable on fur armors https://sta.sh/08hm6anvfk0 what the H3LL is this and how do I fix it! I do not use custom skeletons but I'm tempted if it fixes this problem!

  10. I previously made a post looking for something like this but I had no success...probably because I did not word things correctly so I'll try and correct that mistake here! Dear Mod Makers! if any of you would kindly make a mod that gives you a separate "brightness bar" in the menu (or mcm) so players can adjust and set the overall games brightness for interiors and exteriors separately...this way it won't matter what lighting mod you may or may not have you can set your brightness to what you want and enjoy! I feel a mod like this would benefit the skyrim community greatly and I'd be extremely happy if this was made

I use the Realistic Lighting Overhaul for SSE and I adore it! except for one thing...its WAY too dark inside! when I can't see a corner of the room or theres black sections of the room I freak out! (I almost had a heart attack in bleak falls barrow from the darkness) I'm inside a inn and I can't see behind the counter without a torch...and yet I still love RLO... being outside with RLO is fantastic! the illuminated spells and other subtle tweaks make Skyrim look like a 2019 game! but when the inside of an inn or a castle is as like the sun died? there's a problem hence why I'm here! can someone please either tweak the light radius's of RLO's interior lights to be bright enough to see the corners of the room! either up the range and brightness of RLO's "lights" inside OR can someone make a book mod or something where I can set brightness for when I'm inside or outside?...outside with RLO I have it at default (brightness bar halfway) and its gorgeous! inside however? I have to crank the brightness up to almost max (over 3 quarters full) just to have a nicely lit interior...but it almost destroys the effects that RLO made! so I'm in a bind...I want to enjoy my favorite game again but if I have to pause and adjust brightness every time I go inside or outside? it breaks the immersion and is quite annoying! I feel as though while this modding community is fantastic I feel as though things could be catigorized a tad more! perhaps an area where willing modders could post up a thread to encourage the community to learn and contribute and perhaps make a massive mod toghether! like enderal sized project! or even an area makeover! (forgotten vale perhaps?) or a request filtering system where compleated requests got archived off into another section while things still requested are active and in 1 area ...perhaps new or bumped requests or other threads could have a section on mainpage to show people on the mainpage whats new and most chatted about Ive seen a site that does this and it really helps the community see whats up as well as help requesters and mod developers see whats wanted or needed to work on it certainly makes me excited to visit the site to see whats new in that sence! perhaps a full on support and tutorial area to help out the n00bs (like myself) anyone can watch a video and learn how to make a follower (it took 14 videos for me though... :P ) not many can add unique phrases and edit diolouge (DFD fantastic mod!) even less can add special funtions like toggling follower distance from player (RDO amazing mod!) very few can put an original 3d model into skyrim to make a follower ( NIF format really? why not FBX? at least theres an autorigger for FBX ) hardly anyone can build anything like Indigo ...(amazing mod) I feel as though it would be great to see some of the scripting side of the community reaching out and putting tutorials in for scripting and helping the community learn with a personal human touch as not everyone learns from a textbook (autisum as an example of lack of being able to conform to 1 way of learning...also a nod to myself) creating an event is a good first step if scripting is needed! ..as an example and lastly I feel as though it should be possible to hit the "enter" key after typing out a search phrase instead of constantly needing to manually click the button thats all I have to say on the matter! have a great day everyone!
