A little bit of both I guess? Edited the two models in 3ds, and exported both of them then used nifscope to combine them ( think i am using the right nodes). I do not know about alpha transparency.

So one night i had this wacky idea, take the thalmor overcoat and mix it with the thieves guild armor set. I have minimal skills with poly editing and texturing but i did manage to come up with a model (buggy as it is). However when I tried to insert this into the game i ran into troubles. Troubles being that it crashed the game... and the Creation kit. If someone could give some feedback or help it would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks
