  1. Scaleform Translation PP is incompatible with game version 1.6.1170 (and probably also with 1.6.1130+). It causes a silent crash with no error messages. I am responding because I see it in your list (image).
  2. Even though everything is updated and specifically for SE-AE 1.6.1170 (SKSE [AE], Address Library mod, PapyrusUtil), and I updated almost all my mods (except NFF and Particle Patch for ENB), I have the same issue: launching the game via SKSE does a silent crash and I see nothing abnormal in the SKSE log. I recently changed GPU and monitor if that can affect anything. UPDATE : Lucky me, thanks to a comment on Nexus, I found the one tiny utility mod (Scaleform Translation PP) that was crashing Skyrim SE (that mod is used by Skyrim Character Sheet but it is not necessary). That incompatible mod (Scaleform...) does not look like it will get an update and the mod author disabled all comments/bug reports.
  3. Yep. I noticed. Happy to hear a new version is on the way !
  4. EDIT: I had tested both methods, but could not see any difference. I set them as suggested, in case it has any effect (it does do one thing as explained below). OK, I think it worked. A new post from the person was not shown on the forum topic, though I caught a glimpse of it on the main site comment section. If I click on Spoilers threads, I see all the posts nonetheless. Thank you. It has little to no impact though since I usually do not use the forum version which I find lacking on some levels.
  5. Yes. It looks like this to be clear : I see their past posts via their profile and on relevant forum pages. Likewise if I switch the buttons to Hide, Hide, Block.
  6. I just did all that, with all the three options offered. I see no impact: both on the main Nexus site (mod comments) and the forum version, the messages are fully visible. Yes. The proper clickable account is shown, followed by Hide, Hide, Block. I also tried clicking on those three options, which changes them to Show, Show, Allow, and I can still see that user's posts. Maybe it is because I was involved in that discussion and future posts will not be shown. That said, I use the main web site (comments under mod pages), so it has no impact for me really.
  7. I just did all that, with all the three options offered. I see no impact: both on the main Nexus site (mod comments) and the forum version, the messages (EDIT: I meant posts) are fully visible.
  8. That was beautiful ! You have talent. I also learnt at few things (thank you Mr. Crapper!).
  9. In the Site Preferences, I selected zero forms of censorship : not one single tag selected and even Adult sillyness on. Yet, in posts / discussions for mods, the horrible terrifying word "s#*!" is censored. Not to mention that is a non offensive word if there is one. Only some societies on Earth, notably some people in the USA, consider the word s#*! something to censor. Anyhow, ignoring my cultural shock with s#*! (merde), why is anything censored on my logged-in account when my Site Preferences refuse any of that. ( sorry if the written tone sounds harsh ; please take it with a tone of humour and it seems like a site minor bug )
  10. Happy to report I have made good progress on this ! * Potions of Resist Cold and items of Warmth (which actually resist frost damage in vanilla) all give a Warmth rating that I can tweak. * and Flame Cloak spell also gives Warmth and a bit of resist front damage, as explained in the previous post. Even a hand-crafted potion that gives X% resistance to Frost damage gives a scaled Warmth rating (to my great surprise ). For example, in my initial tests, a potion of 17% resistance to Frost also gives +17 Warmth rating. Note that Warmth does not remove Cold (survival) penalties as such ; it only slows down the impact of Cold temperatures. Nb : I am not in a hurry. I don't find players are asking urgently for such Frost-Cold/Warmth survival logic at the moment. __ UPDATE: I released the first version of this mod March 1st, 2022. Feel free to criticise, suggest, or propose improvements. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/64363
  11. It is rather obvious and a normal first reaction to the Fishing CC that is now de facto in Skyrim SE 1.6x... A patch/mod is needed to at least allow more free camera movement, like to watch the scenery around as you fish. It can remain in first-person, though of course optional 3rd person would be even a better mod, but at least camera movement ... Or is there a tweak I do not know of ? (if so, it might as well be a mod to benefit the masses) (rant: bloody obvious, no? I find the current semi-locked view bad quality on the part of Bethesda who vetted this officially. The whole fishing quest/exploration is very nice though. Off-topic: though the absolute worst design is the optional Hunger system [i like the rest of the Survival Mode].)
  12. Up to now, I was able to add logical Survival effects to the Flame Cloak spell. In the official Survival Mode, it already makes you immune to freezing water, yet has no impact on ambient cold; which really makes no sense (the fire around you not only works underwater, it protects you from the most deadly type of freezing, yet not from intense winter temperature). I added : Warmth 62 sec. (Hot food magic effect) Restore Cold (Hot food magic effect) [i removed it for game balance: too easy to spam that spell to remove Cold] Resist Frost damage 62 sec. 20% (like the weakest Resist Cold potion). Note on #2 : I will remove the Restore Cold (for game balance in relation to crafting Hot food) in favour of logical high warmth (i.e. protects you also from ambient cold, which will slowly reduce Cold damage anyhow during those 62 sec. False: high Warmth rating does not reduce Cold over time.). EDIT note on #1 : high Warmth does little really, though it does block further Cold HP damage, which is already fine for the spell logic and game balance. Note on #3 : the Resist Frost effect is debatable. I feel it makes sense, but it is not important here for the purpose of this modding, but...
  13. Ideally, found or crafted potions and items of Frost Resist should logically also help reduce Cold (Restore Cold) and/or add Warmth (Fortify Warmth); depending on logic for each. Frost Resist potions, logically, would additionally Restore Cold and mostly Fortify Warmth. As a very noob modder (just using SSEedit), I did not find an easy way of doing this, maybe adding the effect to Ingredients or potion results. Maybe someone else has an idea how to do this. Currently, even with full fur armour and holding a torch, very cold regions reduce HP. The player would naturally think of using potions and items that resist Frost... Only Hot food (Fire Salts) Restore Cold (heal Cold) and adds extra Warmth at the moment.* It would just make sense that if you can resist violent Freezing attacks, it would also reduce Cold. * https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Survival_Mode_Items
  14. Shouldn't a potion of Resist Frost (capable of blocking big cold blasts) also help you resist Cold in Survival Mode? Obviously yes. If a Hot meal helps you resist Cold and gives you Warmth (heals Cold effect), a Resist Frost effect should at the very least give you decent environmental Cold resistance. A robe of Frost resistance could also, for example, give a good Warmth rating. WHAT I TRIED : * added the survival resist Cold effect to some Ingredients (with SSEedit). I failed: either ingredients have 4 effects maximum, or I just did not do it right. --- the above method seemed like the logical approach for potions. * Items would be easier I think, at least unique items that have a clear record in the Skyrim tables. Anyone plan on doing this ? If not, any tips or hints ? I am a noob and do not plan on doing this in the following weeks. Feel free to use the idea to make a mod/patch. And, yes, Bethesda, feel free to patch this in.
