  1. I'm running DO and keeping with the wild west aesthetic, it would be so much more fitting to have noose hanging corpses from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/58121 than the vanilla meathook mutilated corpses. The cherry on top would be for them to be distinct and lootable but I'm not that picky. Would greatly appreciate anyone who could help here.
  2. Like the title says, I'm working on removing everything except the landscape edits from the mod New Red Rocket so it's easier to turn into an ESL flagged ESP. I've already recreated the design using SHK and the mod Red Rocket Reborn - Expanded and have exported it into a WSFW layout. While I'm aware I'm not reducing plugins this way, my aim is to be more efficient since the plugins I do keep contribute functionality outside of the one spot. If whoever helps me out wants to merge my workshop layout into a single ESL with the landscape edits and publish it on Nexus, that's cool as long as you credit MiaVanessa (the NRR designer) according to how they set their permissions. By the way, the buildings were originally a prebuilt and they are now made using parts from the aforementioned mods that I placed by hand. EDIT: Never mind, was able to modify the build a bit to accommodate to the vanilla landscape. Now requires Homemaker though.
  3. Looking for a hanging corpse mod (from a rope noose) to replace the impaled/hanging on hooks and chains corpse models, since I'm going for a Desperados themed game.
  4. Hi everybody, just need a quick plugin, batch file, or anything that will add in the default sanctuary buildings. All I need are the walls, roofs, and foundations. If you can send me a TS blueprint that includes those objects as workshop items, as well as the name of the mod that has them as items, that would also work, I think. Thanks Edit: Turns out this mod did it well enough https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17561/?tab=2&navtag=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D17561&pUp=1 The side effect that it brings deleted stuff back is what I wanted.
  5. This place definitely needs to be able to be made into a settlement. Obviously it would need to be cleared first. Bonus points for making Saugus another settlement. (for reference, I used the mod that makes west everett estates a settlement and then made a pier that connects it to Taffington Boathouse, so the boathouse acts like a trading stop before going to the other place). I like making these societal relationships, people can scavenge at hub city and trade with the smelters at Saugus, and Finch farm has an obvious trading relationship with both of these.
  6. Huge props to the guys running F4SE, Place Everywhere, and Transfer Settlements (the mods I use, not savvy on which other mods use F4SE that I don't use). Thanks for updating so quickly.
  7. As for ShadowBoost, there is a new mod that does the same thing, and more: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26760/? Also does the work of LoadAccelerator! He just made it hidden, perhaps to refine it for the update?
  8. If you haven't seen this movie, watch it ASAP, the trailer is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFlZ6pVtnv0 This is the closest I've seen to a Fallout movie in terms of style, except retro 80's instead of retro 50's. It's awesome nonetheless. Lots of cool things could be brought over, such as weapons, outfits, and synth type characters. Sharing in case anyone is interested.
  9. Imagine the lore of floating cities that prey on each other like in Mortal Engine!
  10. Even more amazing would be "Pacifica: A fallout 4 total conversion" Hawaii, being part of the US, also gets nuked but the impact somehow causes the sinking of the islands (bad science but bear with me.) Somehow some people survive and rebuild civilization in raft settlements. Power armor was reworked to be submersible and used to explore and scavenge cities that are now underwater, which means you may also encounter rivals or raiders donning their own power armor down there. You may also encounter and have to deal with the Enclave. This would probably be a lot of work (don't know if more, or less compared to other total conversions out there), but as I see it with my little knowledge of what modding can do it seems feasible.
  11. That looks great! Where can I find it on the map (or what's a nearby location?) Also do the borders extend beyond the raft?
  12. Hey everyone, so this might seem like an odd modd to ask for, but since there's a more or less large area of water out there, I think it would be awesome to have an area out in the ocean to make a floating raft town out there. I'm not really talking about having an island or any type of land as a starting point. Sort of like waterworld, personally I'd start using the barrel raft parts and walkways in the G2M mod under the section with the fish traps and build up from there. I'm sure someone else with the skills it takes would also like to see this happen :D The only thing I'm not sure how it would work is with the supply line caravans, but since it seems work independently of if they make it from one settlement to another they'd just swim out, I think.
  13. I love what Bethesda did with the 50's style lore. However, while the 50's where when the timelines diverged, that doesn't mean that's when culture stopped producing. The great war takes place in 2077, that's even in our future! The concept this thread proposes is that while the timeline diverges in the 50's, the styling they kept was something similar to our 80's. So why the 1980's? I think that decade is simply a good sort of complement/follow up to the 50's and it would be awesome to have a fallout that emulates that era's idea for what futuristic styling would be. I would start with music, 70's, 80's tracks that have that oldies rock and roll vibe, not thinking about heavy synth wave (though perturbator for a wasteland soundtrack is tempting). Remember that nuclear was also a theme in the 80's, but instead of hope it was fear of annihilation. Anyway what gave me the idea was listening to the cadence of John Lennon's "Nobody told me" and being on a Fallout 4 roll The Wanderer instantly came to mind. Part 1: SOUNDS The background soundtrack is its own thing from the radio stations, that might be a place to put down synthwave atmospheric music while having a different contrast with the music. Songs to consider for radio playlist Blondie- Atomic Tears for Fears- Mad World Timbuk 3- The future's so bright (I gotta wear shades) Crosby, Stills, and Nash- Wooden Ships David Bowie- When the Wind Blows Queen- Hammer to Fall Don Henley- Johnny Can't Read Mike & The Mechanics- Silent Running XTC- I Remember the Sun Planet P Project- Behind the Barrier Tears For Fears- Famous Last Words Bob Dylan- Masters of War Bonnie Dobson- Morning Dew Midnight Oil- Put Down That Weapon Tom Petty- You Got Lucky Scandal- The Warrior Kiss- Heaven's On Fire The Doors- The End of the Night Barry Mcguire- Eve of Destruction Billy Joel- Miami 2017 Nick Drake- Pink Moon The Beatles- The End Alan Parsons Project- ??? Tobias Tesso Jr- Just a Dream (going on the "consistent style, new music" idea) Also- Eurythmics- Sweet Dreams
