Hmm, I usually always load a quicksave and I've never had a problem I understand what you are saying, but I don't think it occurs much, atleast for me. And making a hard save before each door? Isn't that a bit excessive? That's what I use quicksave for. I only make a hard save every few hours.

I'm not highly experienced with this stuff, but I think I may have had this problem too. If you are running an AMD card, then it may be the latest driver. I know that was causing a problem for me a few weeks ago, however like I said, that was a while ago, so it may not apply anymore. I would try turning off anti aliasing, because that's what I was told to do and from what I remember, it seemed to do the trick. Turn it off in the game settings and on your card too through Catalyst or whatever NVidia has.

I found the mod, however it doesn't seem to work. I'm trying to use it with the LOTR weapon pack and I downloaded the custom weapon edition and it crashed the game...

Title pretty much sums it up. I play an archer/thief type. I want a mod where I can have my bow equipped yet still see my sword in its scabbard. Preferably I would also like to not have to see the bow on my back, because it looks bad and ugly.

What "magic" mods would you recommend? I checked out Midas Magic and it doesn't really appeal to me, but a scaling mod sounds good.

Even though I've played for about 100 hours, I have barely dealt with magic in Skyrim. I know almost nothing about it and never use it, besides the healing spell at lower levels. I thought it would be cool to make a sword wielding mage based off Gandalf from LOTR. So, I would like to know where to start. I have looked at some guides, and they all talk about going into conjuration to summon things and bind weapons. I'm not looking to do that. I'm probably not even going to have a companion. I'm probably going to download a Glamdring mod so I won't need conjuration to bind weapons. Also, is there a mod for cool hats and robes? Besides that, I'd like just some general info and tips on how to run a mage character. Thanks.

I do have an AMD card. How do I turn it off in Catalyst?

I had a problem about a week ago, got it fixed after some help on here. But, now, after reinstalling the game three times, I have an odd problem with blocks appearing on screen and some weird shapes in the water. So I just reinstalled the game twice now and I finally go the problem solved, but as always, a new problem popped up. Now, on the ground near bushes and in trees and in the backround there are these tiny little texture box things that are popping up. I think they may have something to do with shadows, as it could be something that I edited wrong in the ini file after I reinstalled it. Is there a way to get my ini back the way it was? And does anyone know of a possible way to get rid of it? I can't provide pictures now, maybe later.

Seriously, can nobody help?
