  1. Sorry I haven't responded in awhile, very busy. That didn't work either. FEels like there is no concrete way to figure this odd issue out, and it might be unique to me or something. I think I'll just have to wait until I can afford to upgrade my computer in a couple of years (damn school tuition for being so expensive).
  2. Yeah I'm stumped aswell...tried just about everything. Guess my computer just doesn't run well with Skyrim anymore. Might have something to do with updating to windows 8, because when it ran smoothly I was on XP (yeah that old ;P). I guess I'll just have to wait a couple years when I can get the money to replace system parts? It's probably a hardware issue at this point, I don't know.
  3. Okay, I used that tool. GPU was 152F (67C) CPU was 154F(68C) Motherboard was 125F (52C) at peak, during gameplay. So maybe it is an overheating issue? My computer is kinda dusty, it's also open-sided so IDK if that has anything to do with it. Never had the issue until now O.O.
  4. Unfortunately didn't solve the issue, still getting same crashes. :\ maybe it is something to do with my hardware. Should I try that ENB thing? Doesn't seem like a bright idea if it F's up haha...
  5. Alright I just uninstalled the game and all that. I'm reinstalling now. I'll be back if it's still messed up and maybe we can find out the issue. Thanks so much guys! Hopefully this'll fix it!
  6. O.o not sure what all the jargon you guys are talking about is. I'm not a very tech savvy guy so I'm just reading some of this thinking 'wat.' Anyway, I'm verifying the integrity of the game's cache right now.....anything else I should do? I just installed the game two days agoish btw, so I'm a little surprised it's messed up that fast. I was thinking the mods were the issue. (I got my copy of Skyrim on release day but had it uninstalled for about a year). My game used to play with mods on high just fine all the time (and I would never get crashes except once in a blue moon), so it's a little disturbing if it is indeed my system that is screwing the game up. I don't have any high resolution texture mods or anything like that. edit; Said 2 files failed to validate and were reacquired. Not sure what that means.
  7. Oh wow, yeah I turned off all the mods, started a new save, and still got a CTD within 15 minutes. Any way of knowing what the issue is?
  8. Well, I get a steady 50 FPS on high so I'm not sure if it's my rig that's the issue. Anyway, I disabled both mods and even tried one off and one on and I still got a crash every time. I even disabled climates, floral, and water at the same time but still get the same crashes.
  9. Haven't checked temps but my machine doesn't seem to be chugging. The only edits to the .ini file I made was for papyrus, which I just did today to supply that list. Otherwise, I haven't touched it. System: Windows 8 32-bit Intel Duo Core 2.66ghz 4GB RAM Nvidia 460GTX 300GB HD 650watt power supply I don't think I use plugins for: (I'm not sure about this) ---V -Monster Mod -Immersive Armors
  10. Not sure how to check the temperature thing. Anyway here's the logs Papyrus: http://pastebin.com/rPWKU2C8 BOSS: http://pastebin.com/i43M7tF3 This time I only lasted about 6-8 minutes. Maybe it's not a time thing. One crash I had involved loading after dying, another was walking into an open field near Whiterun, another was on the bottom right corner of the map walking through a forest. Not sure if there was anything in common.
  11. Hey guys, everytime I boot up Skyrim I CTD after about 20 minutes of playing. It's very consistent in its timing for whatever reason. My boss log says everything is fine (one unrecognized mod though -- Hothtrooper44_armor_ecksstra.esp)...there are some bash tag suggestion thingies but it doesn't seem to be extreme and I don't know what that means. TES5edit hasn't found anything wrong. I'm at a loss of what to do!!! Can anyone help? I can provide info if needed but I'm not sure what I need to show or how to do it, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS!!!
