I've been getting freezing every hour or so now that I'm into the DLC for the game. I've looked at the guide I could find, and it suggests downloading two files: NVSE and 4GB Patch. Supposedly these need to go into the game folders, which I've done. The problems is that the 4GB patch is not an .exe file, so I have no idea how to launch it. Any help appreciated here.

I've been using Vortex for years now and my Fallout 4 game is running with about 75 mods at the moment. Skyrim has about 25 mods added right now. I fired up New Vegas today and thought I'd add some mods to the game for the first time, but they don't actually download and install. Is there something I need to do first before I start downloading mods for this game? I'm a bit stumped here. I'm running a Win 11 Alienware gaming laptop. I don't think it's the computer, though, because it's my gaming computer.

I've been playing a modded game for years, and recently my favourite sign mod was removed from Vortex. I now have no Settlement signs at all; by that I mean signs with the name of each settlement. I am positive that the vanilla game came with craftable signs for each settlement, but I no longer seem to have those. It seems that when that mod was removed, it took the original signs with it. Am I right that the vanilla game came with settlement signs?

I'm pretty sure that's what the mod was called. It was one of my favourites and alas, it is no longer available here. Is there anything else like it? I'm specifically looking for items like the kitchenware and bar supplies, but the whole mod was wonderful. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I put a fast travel mat at Boston Airport settlement, and now I can't fast travel to the Prydwen. Instead, fast travelling to the Prydwen takes me to Boston Airport, too. I've searched for a mod to fix this but wasn't able to find one. Does anyone know of a fix for this? It's very annoying.
