  1. Hey, I love the game so far, but the English voice-over often takes me out of the immersion. I'd love to play with Ukrainian VO, but the subtitles don't appear if I'm too far away from someone, so I would miss out on certain dialogue or shout-outs that happen to be a bit too far away. And obviously I don't want to lower the event/AI spawning range. Is there a possibility for a mod that makes the range of when subtitles initiate to be further away? Thanks.
  2. So, I tried to make a replacer for Mantis helmet using the Explorer helmet. The issue ran into was that in-game, the helmet was now missing the face. I know the mantis helmet doesn't have a face since it's hidden, but since I replaced the .nif to the explorer one I would've tought it'd change and show the face since it's a different mesh. I remember I needed to add morphs too, but that didn't change anthing. And the changes I made to texture (tried to make it black/grey instead of white) didn't appear, just the plain old textures. Perhaps that's because the .nif file is referencing the old explorer helmet textures in the explorer helmet folder, but I can't use .nifskope to edit it because idk, nifskope doesn't support starfield somehow, so any alternatives there? Also, is there any program where you can edit .nif files and textures live, so you can see all changed to the textures happen in real time? Just to get reference to what goes where?
  3. So, this save file has been amazing, my new PC has been shredding modded Fallout 4... But, now an issue has appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. When I go to check the papyrus log is claims the AK5C mod is the issue: https://pastebin.com/46PBcjGW However, I can't fathom why this is the case. I have used this mod since the start of that save, I basically haven't added or removed anything except for updates on certain mods to follow game version or for bug fixes, and previously I've never had an issues, with either the mod or the save. But, now my characters is in the Sewer by Covenant for whatever quest is there. I couldn't load any previous saves either, so idk what the issue is. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable here can figure it out. I kinda don't want to get rid of the AK5C mods, but if that causes too many issues I guess I'll have to. EDIT: Managed to figure out myself what the issue was, and it was completely unrelated to the mods mentioned in the papyrus. I was a pip-boy background mod that had worked previously that for some reason didn't want to work anymore and just CTD the game instead.
  4. Hello! So I decided to create a small ESL that changes power armor and the way it interacts with your character a little. I changed so no matter how much strength I have it always gives a 10 strength points increase, this works fine. I also added a 100 magnitude Fortify Carry Weight effect, but this one has issues working for some reason. Anyone have any idea why this might be? Edit: Actually figured it out on my own with help from a mod here on Nexus. So I created an ability(spell) that gives me a specific number of carry weight points per base strength point. Then I added this ability to the power armor perk that already exists in Fallout4.esm. So now, the higher my BASE strength the more carry weight I get. This works good.
  5. Well, instead of getting a crash when I start the game, I now get a crash in in main menu, either when clicking continue, load game, settings, whatever I press in the main menu results in CTD. I am so confused right now. It literally worked like 20-30 min ago and nothing changed in between except me changing a setting in the config files. After the first crash I reverted the change but it made no difference. Constant crashes seem to just appear randomly in this game. One day it's fine, the next day it's unplayable...
  6. So, I've modded the game, obviously, and recently updated a lot of mods to the newest version so I could play. But, for some reason my game won't launch. I accidentally launched it through Steam earlier today, and it ran fine. Then I quit to go eat and afterwards decided to launch the game again but through vortex so my mods would be enabled. Now, the new saves might become unplayable since I didn't launch from Vortex and missing mods might done something, but I'm fine with that. Anyway, after updating some mods I decided to launch the game but was greeted by an error. "Cyberpunk 2077 encountered and error caused by corrupted or missing archives and will now be forced to close. Please verify integrity of game files for Cyberpunk 2077 before the next launch." And as expected, I did what it asked, I verified the game files with Steam and tried launching through Steam again, to make sure it at least works that way. But alas, it did not. Same error. Any idea what might cause this? EDIT: Also since I can't launch the game how can I find out the game version so I can double check that my mods are compatible with current version of the game? EDIT2: Well, I managed to get the game started by reinstalling. We'll see if it starts with it's issues again.
  7. Hello all. So, since the release of this game, I've had issues with menus and UI. Scrolling doesn't move me 1 option per "flick", instead it moves 2 options in the list, and oftentimes skips 3 options. So, when I for example try to use the quickhack menu, I can't go down 1 option, and use that with the scroll wheel, instead it jumps to the option after that. Instead of the scroll wheel I've had to use Q and E, but scrolling feels better and much more intuitive than pressing Q and E, so I'd rather the scroll wheel work. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could make a fix for this, cause I have 0 clue of how to do that, and since I'm new to CDPR games, I don't trust myself in that space. If this is unclear in any way, I could post a video for you showcasing the issue. Thanks for taking the time to read! And for all the modders out there; You are breathtaking! /Mike
  8. Gonna bump this again, because it's not been solved. My CPU is NOT bottlenecking my GPU... This just happens randomly usually, but in some areas it's frequent or even a guarantee (such as Dawnstar and Riften). Neither my GPU or CPU are running at 100%, they completely refuse in some areas. It's as if I have a different bottleneck. Question: Could the fact that I have it on a heavily used HDD (many programs running at once from that drive) be a cause? If so I'll have to buy an SSD.
  9. Overclocked to 4.5GHz, saw no difference. Thing is, most of the time when a new cell loads I get constant 60 FPS, 100% GPU load, no problems what so ever, and sometimes when a new cell loads (more often than not in Riften) I get low FPS (around 30) with only 50% GPU load... This is RECENT issue and has not happened before. Deleting and letting the game re-create the .ini files doesn't help either. Figured, I'll try that. Perhaps it's a specific mod causing this? Something that's bloating my save?
  10. Hi! As you all probably know, there's this bug, or glitch (whatever), that makes your Pip-Boy background image get brighter or darker depending on the lighting behind you. So if it's a bright day and you look straight in front (and especially downwards) the background is so bright you can barely see what's on the Pip-Boy, and if you look up, creating a shadow on the Pip-Boy, the background image gets darker. Usually people think this is a issue about indoors vs outdoors. But, no, it's literally just a lighting bug. Is there ANY fix for this yet?! I can't seem to find one, but maybe there's one hidden somewhere and for some reason my google search strings just don't show it... You'd think after 3 years someone would be able to fix it, unless most people aren't using Pip-Boy backgrounds anyway.
  11. First off, this is the wrong section. Should be in Mod Troubleshooting or Technical Support, not discussions, less chance you'll get help here. Secondly, when does it crash? On launch (commonly cause by incorrect load order)? On save load? A few seconds after a save has finished loading? I've had similar problems where the game works fine one day, then refuses to work another and then begins to work the next day again. Never gotten a straight answer to what could be the cause of this. Possibly something Windows or hardware related? Who knows. But, just writing so little with lack of any useful information won't get you far in the terms of getting help. Explain it as if we were 5 years old, cause we can't assume what's happening without enough info. I'm not the best at troubleshooting, so I'll leave the rest to the experts if they come along. Good luck!
  12. It creates an entire virtual copy of the game's root folder, and adds all mods to it in the priority order you set (so that the mods overwrite in the correct order) and then runs the same. So your game isn't even running from the actual root folder, but has a virtual copy of it, which is essentially the same as adding the files to the real folder, so shouldn't cause performance issues. At least that's how I understood it from Gopher's videos on the matter. But, guess what... I launched the game through Steam, no F4SE, game ran at 60 FPS, no microstutter... Tried running to game with launcher and .exe through MO2, to make sure it wasn't an issue with MO2 itself. It refused to launch, giving me an error "V:0(a bunch of zeroes)065432. No idea what's causing it an all topics I found on it were unclear on how to resolve it or had no solution at all.. Decided to run F4SE through MO2. Suddenly, 60 FPS, no microstutter. Enabled my modded profile. 60 FPS, no microstutter.... It appears fixed, for some dumb reason. I did follow what one topic said about that error, to delete the .ini files in Mod Organizer 2, for me they're located at 'D:\Program\Mod Organizer 2\Games Data\Fallout 4\profiles\Main', so whatever the %basedir% is ser to and then in profile... Not sure if this fixed it, could have been an issue caused by the INI configurator in MO2, which I recently learned can break the ini files... Not touching that again xD Now, come to think of it, maybe deleting the ini files for Skyrim SE will fix the issues I'm having with that... I'll get back here and edit this here comment if it fixes it for SSE too, just so people have something to go by if they get a similar issue and this actually fixes it...
  13. Hi! I decided two days ago to start modding my newly cleaned and installed Fallout 4 (because of previous save corruption issues). So, this is a completely clean folder. I started modding using MO2 so the FO4 root folder would be untouched (except for ENB, but I've tried completely disabling ENB and it doesn't fix it). First thing I noticed after installing all the must have mods, when starting a new game, completely new, I got microstutter and my game CANNOT reach 60FPS even-though, even with mods (a lot of 4K textures and an ENB), my GPU and CPU load is BELOW 50% (like all cores on CPU, Core #0, #1, #2, #3). I have a GTX 1080 Ti and an i7 6700K OCed to 4.5GHz. I tried launching the game completely naked, without mods or ENB and still microstutter and can't reach 60FPS, even-though my CPU and GPU are pretty much still idling because there's nothing to strain them. People have said previously that disabling god rays can fix this (never used to have this problem and I've always had god rays disabled before). But, since most people know at this point, Bethesda made it so that you CAN'T disablo god rays because it sets itself to Low over and over. Now, the thing is... If I go in-game and type "gr off" in command console, then "gr info" to make sure it's off, it says it's off. I've tried changing bVolumetricLightingEnable=1 to 0. I've tried every single god ray disable fix possible, and I still get my issues. At this point, I'm not even sure god rays ARE on and that the issues originate from somewhere else... I'm just so confused... Recently has a similar problem with Skyrim SE, where randomly after a loading screen the game would decide to only load the GPU 50% and the same with CPU. But that issue forced the game down to 30 FPS, instead of my constant 60, so I doubt it's related... Idk if it's just this FO4 build that's broken, or if Win 10 is broken, or if Nvidia drivers are broken... It's all a guessing game at this point. Anyone here who can come with any intellectual comments or new ideas as to how I can fix this extremely frustrating issue?
  14. LOOT claims 'OCD - Minutemen Overhaul patch' is not not compatible with SKE. Probably not the cause, but anyone got any idea why this is?
