I've recently adopted the previously-defunct Cinder the Flame Dancer mod, and I'm currently in the ideas phase. Eventually this will be a comprehensive follower, with multiple quests. I'll be doing some heavy working for the next few weeks and won't be able to work on it, but after that, I need one or two people who're willing to give me an hour or so of their time each week to just chat. I don't have any requirements other than a mic and a skype account, but it'd be cool if you have any other skills you're willing to help with, such as Creation kit work, texturing, sound design, or even if you're just willing to let me use your voice for an npc or something. If this seems like something you'd like to do, shoot me a PM, and as soon as I get some time here in the next couple of weeks we can get the ball rolling.

Green/Brown smoke coming out of my character

So a few weeks ago I noticed a thick dark smoke coming out of my character when I was in Solstheim. It was rather unexpected and seemed to appear after I took a nap. Figuring it would disappear after a while, I played for a bit, installed a few mods, etc. After it didn't disappear, I just sort of played on. While it was annoying, I'm usually in first person and never saw it unless I was running backwards. Now I have several mods that move my camera/make effects more substantial. Now it's in my face and is really annoying and makes archery near-impossible. My mod list is much too large to try disabling/enabling them all. Here's what I've tried: Removeallitems Going through my active effects/spells and disabling likely ones Sexchange/Invisibility potions I've gone scoured the internet for answers, with no result. Also it isn't there in newly created characters. This is my main character, and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. Here's an example: http://imgur.com/a/d

If you want, you could give me a copy of the esp and I could see what I could do with it. I'm not sure how much I can get done, but I really don't want to see this project die.

Necro, but I would really like to add my support to this. If I could help in anyway, give advice or resources, I'd be glad to help in such a worthy project. I did a lot of Oblivion modding, though nothing with Skyrim yet, but though some of my help may be a bit outdated, I would really like to help this see the light.

I am definitely interested. I can create architectural 3d models, however I would need someone else to texture, and I would also need someone to write dialogue, as mine usually comes out rather stiff. I'll throw my weight behind this, if we can get someone else to fill those gaps. -

There may be a tool somewhere that does that, but to my knowledge there is no feature like that in the GECK. -
Hey everyone, I'm Xeno, I don't post much, but I have had an idea and thought I'd run it by you guys. So, I'm sure some of you have used the GhostArmor Conversion by bunsaki (Found here: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/13975) and for those of you who haven't, I recommend it, it's a great mod. The armor looks fantastic. However, the quest (while admittedly sporting some great ingenuity in level design) is fairly lackluster, lacking any real characters. Now I know it's just a placeholder quest, but I really want to see this fleshed out. In the quest, you run into a secret Enclave base to nab some sweet armor, however on your way out you alert the entire facility, including it's single Ghost Operative, using the same kind of armor you just stole. Now, I don't know about you guys, but I really want to see this become part of a larger quest. Maybe you get bits of the armor, or just some of the weapons and have to track them down or something. I think this could work, if we get some talented people together. I myself have some animation/modeling expertise, know my way around GECK and can create some fairly elaborate, creative settings using a little bit of code here and there. I also write a lot of fanfics, and can work on Plot and dialogue as well. Right now I'm just seeing if anyone is even remotely interested in this, we still need to get permission from bunsaki (waiting on that) and get some details from him, but I think this could be cool. Thoughts?

I know, I didn't mean a port directly from ME1-3, I meant that if someone already had one they made for something else. Sorry for the misuse of the word.

Hey, I've looked all over for a Tali'Zorah companion mod, or even just a hi-def model I can port, but I can't find one on any of the nexuses. I've also scoured the web with no success. Could anyone make one? Even if you could just make (or find) a model I could make the mod myself, and I would be eternally grateful :)

It IS very possible for a mod, all you would have to do is remove all of the fast travel markers. If you did it from the main GECK menu it would take maybe 10 minutes. The only downside would be the sites would disappear from your map altogether and you wouldn't be able to see anything on your map except the places you could fast travel to.

Well, I think that would be spectactular, but it would take a LOT of work. We would need an entire team. I'm willing to offer my services, though, if this plan ever gets into the light. We'll need modelers, voice actors, and numerous other people. I can model and animate, and I am quite proficient with GECK and scripting.

Well, what they said then. I didn't know you couldn't continue if you didn't have BS, but I guess it makes sense. I've never not used BS. But yeah, you have a ways to go, especially if you have BS. -

You missed a little, but all you missed was talking to threedog and moriarty. So you didn't miss much. You still have a ways to go from when you begin purity though. And after you finish the main quest you can continue doing all the side quests as long as you want. -
I'm making a mod and I need a voice actress to act a new companion. There won't be very many lines of dialogue, maybe 30-40 short sentences. She has to be pretty good, and sound fairly young (16-25) but the character will wear a mask by default, so it will modulate the sound a bit. The requirements are a bit loose though, so feel free to ask. Since it's a mod, it will be strictly voluntary, but you would have course have full access to the mod. (I wasn't planning to release it publicly) Thanks in advance!

Companion Dialogue Package Help

Oh, and I also need her to be able to repair items every now and then, and to use idle markers. Also, how do you set idle markers? Like showers and stuff. -
Hey guys, I'm trying to make a companion that starts out against you. She is one of the enclave, but when she's almost dead she surrenders. You can choose to kill her, or use her as a companion. I have the companion bit down, but I don't know about the surrender part. At the moment I'm using a Dialogue package that has a condition: GetHealthPercentage <= 20 But then she acts strange. She comes up to talk to me, but it has no words. I told it which topic to use in the main package tab, and in the Begin/End/Change tab I have the same topic under "Begin", and I also told in in the script under "Begin" that she should change faction to PlayerFaction, and get removed from the EnclaveFaction. She also has some other packages she uses that I thought might interfere, so I added a condition to all of them so she only uses them when she's not in the playerfaction. Can anyone help? EDIT: I've looked under tutorials and stuff, but I can't find anything that would help. It's probably something glaringly obvious that I missed. Kudos to anyone who can help.
