I too would like this returned to previous operation. Sometimes I download a mod that I don't intend to use right away or wish to test at a later time so I don't want the automation on, but now I have to take 2 or 3 extra steps to enable a mod I do want use right away. Vortex stopped functioning this way after the update just previous to the current one. It is not the end of the world, but it is an annoying loss of functionality.

His mods are disguised as genius. They are all buggy and have ruined multiple games of mine over the years, I keep getting suckered by all the hype...never again.
