  1. Hello guys! Quick question from Dingo and the Baby. o/ For the life of me, I forgot how to go into a hair mod like Apachii/KS Hairdos and export a specific set of hair so I can place it on expansion NPCs as stand alone mods. (I mean, I obviously do it in the creation kit.. But like.. What to do once in there? Also, I'm talking about Skyrim Special Edition.) There used to be more videos and threads around explaining this age old query, but over the years they've been drowned out and I can no longer find them anymore by searching threads/googling/youtube. Sorry for the re-post. Thanks!
  2. Oh? One can do that in Nifskope? Great :) Guess I know what tutorials I should look for now at least! Thanks for pointing out the direction :D
  3. Hello, what's good great people of Nexus. I'm trying to do a mod involving Super-Mutants! I'm currently creating custom body-parts, but so far the parts use standard, existing texture maps. I want to apply my own texture maps to the custom parts, only, but I can't figure out where to add said textures to the custom model within G.E.C.K. I know how to do it with weapons/armors, but I don't understand how creatures work. Any advice? Thanks in advanced if so! :)
  4. EDIT: Can a moderator please delete this thread? It's posted in the wrong category! Thanks! and sorry
  5. ... But without crude terms it's just normal learning. Learning should be fun! Hehe, actually.. I skimmed this thread while looking for something else.. My apologies. I hereby officially announce that Thandal's way is much better than my own suggested way! ... Even if he chose not to include crude terms.. ^^
  6. Hey you ladies who want Alistair to be faithful. I stumbled upon a trick that COULD help you if you don't want Alistair to shecks Morrigan up the bum. I don't know 100% if it will work though. I stumbled onto this bug in my first play-through. I did not enjoy Dragon Age 1 back in 2009. My opinion has changed since then, because of the wonderful mods. But in my first play-through in 2009, I cheated my way through the game. In my first game Alistair executed Loghain, but then I unintentionally brought Loghain back to life so he ended in my party. Step 1: Have Alistair kill Loghain. Step 2: Once you're on the world map and can travel freely again.. before going to redcliffe. Bring up the console. Type in: "runscript selectparty" . Just select some random members. NOTE:What this command also does, is enable ALL possible followers. (Don't use this normally. It breaks the game!!) Loghain will be recruitable, but he will be invisible. Step 3: Go to redcliffe and iniate the talk with Morrigan. MAYBE, you can have Loghain doink her up the bum, instead of Alistair. Wether this works or not, an invisible Loghain will say good bye to you before you go and kill the arch-demon. In the epilouge he will travel to the deep roads and die. Alistair will function as normal (become king for instance). Best of luck, girl wardens.
  7. Nah. I still have no idea what was wrong, but creating a stand-alone hair piece worked just fine! :P Thanks again!
  8. I think I know what my problem was.. In my folders Meshes\characters\hair\ Textures\characters\hair\ None of the lings files are there. Lings was only installed through my nexus mod manager. I didn't manually extract them to their appropiate locations, thus the game had a problem locating the files for Lings customized characters. I'm going to toy around some more and just make sure I'm correct about that. In any case, I can now create a customized haircut for Cass if it still doesn't work. Thanks a lot for bouncing ideas with me, Jim. :) I couldn't have done it without your help.
  9. Alright. Thanks a lot, Jim! To be honest though, I found a mod of Veronica that actually showed up properly. I re-modded that to my liking and it worked. However, I have the same problem with Cass, who I want to alter next. So I'll send you a file of her instead. http://www.mediafire.com/?7x472cjra9lcj3m Good luck!
  10. Done. But that is my issue. After doing so, I load the mod up. Veronica's face is altered to my liking, but her hair shows up as a vanilla haircut. I tried other people's lings mods, and the same thing happens to their mod too.
  11. Well thanks for the suggestion! Yesterday, I had a bit of a clutter going on.. I had Nexus Mod running in the background. I tried to open and close my ESP-file in GECK while running it in the background like a boss. Of course that just made things a lot more messy and complicated. So I no longer do that. And it actually lead me closer to my real issue. Veronica's hair gets altered, but not to a Ling's hair-type. So when I go in-game.. Fallout gives her a normal haircut. So.. How do I make the Lings haircut show up in-game without it reverting to a normal haircut? Ideas?
  12. The feedback doesn't have to be the most accurate someone has ever said. I'm just wondering... Should I have saved Veronica differently, or does it sound like there's an issue with the load order? Is everything I did entirely incorrect? Just give me an idea or two please :)
  13. Hello! I'm just altering a standard companion, Veronica. I check FalloutNV.ESM Lings.ESM I located Veronica in the NPC list. I altered her hair-color, hairstyle and inventory. I hit save. I create an ESP. I load it. But she shows up unaltered. I am using Nexus Mod Manager (FOMM just won't work on this computer), but I've unchecked my old Veronica stuff before launching the game. Thoughts?
  14. Guys. There's a good 80% solution here. You can use THIS http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4554 Edit: Nevermind. Interesting mod. Thought I found some good solutions, but I just found more problems. :P
  15. Really? Sweet. Please post a link on this topic so I can just Nexus that mod :)
  16. Hi I care more about personal taste in appearance, regardless if it breaks immersion with the world of Skyrim. I want to give them an armor with 'worse' defense than what they're wearing. And instead of being practical with their role here, they go: "No!" So.. I want complete control over what they should equip.
