I like this Idea a lot, the idea of using certain Jewels to work better with certain types of Enchantment is excellent in fact, combined with the given ability to boost the level enchantment past your current capable vanilla level of Enchantment Ability., this is defiantly a mod I would love to see, I hope you choose to take on the challenge of creating this mod, would love to see what you come up with, thx for the update/

Ever though to yourself "Why bother wearing a Circlet Instead of a Armoured Helmet" when I can simply Enchant both items to the level as far as the Enchantment perks go, its true when I say there is no benefit what so ever to loosing your Armour Rating given by any Armoured Helmet over wearing a Circlet and its sucks. What I want is a reason to Wear Circlets in battle over helmets, and I want that reason to be stronger Enchantment Potential, In fact I want to be able to Enchant a Circlet to up to DOUBLE the enchantment Level Power of a Armoured Helmet. However I am not just looking for a simple mod that simply makes it so that Enchantments on Circlets are twice as strong as that what I am capable of on Armour, thought I would take that right now anyway, but ideally I want a little bit of a overhaul on the Enchantment system around all Jewellery and ONLY the Jewellery. What I want is a balanced system where by the type of Jewel used in the each item effects the strength of the enchantment I can place on it, so for example If I Enchant a Standard Gold Ring the enchantment would not be as strong as if I enchant a Diamond Gold Ring. As a level of reference to the power of Enchantments against your current vanilla enchantment level, I would start out making the Enchantments on lower levels of Jewellery less powerful that your current capability on standard armour, and work up to a balance where by the top level of Enchantment on the Highest end items of been say 15% more Powerful on Gold Diamond Rings, then plus 20% on Gold Diamond Necklaces (due to Flawless Diamond been used to create over normal Diamond in Rings, hence the jewel effects the level of Enchantment not so much the material). However then I would level up to a staggering 100% more powerful on whatever is deemed the most luxury Circlets due to there lack of an Armour Rating and loss of benefits with wearing a complete set of Armour with loosing the helmet. Following on with the specs recommended above, With Rings and Necklaces I would break even on vanilla enchantment strength with Flawless Ruby based Jewellery, however with Circlets I would break even with Vanilla on even the most basic of Circlet and work up from there to much higher levels. I feel that a mod like this would give real consideration to picking a circlet over a Helmet which right now the game lacks in its failing to give be any incentive to wear a Circlet what so ever.

LE Better Control Over Followers
KillerSkark1978 replied to KillerSkark1978's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Come to think the spell thing would not be as important if you could take full control over the inventory cos you could simply equip them with a staff for them to use Magic, this usually works in game anyway, followers to tend to use staffs that you give them, but the think that gets me the most is when I give them a upgraded bow and see them still using there standard hunting bow which is always there by default, or when I give them good arrows and there still using the seamless limitless supply of Iron arrows and I look back in there inventory and they still have the same number of say Elven Arrows I gave them to use. I defiantly would prefer for them to only be able to use what I give them and even for them to be able to run out of ammo so I have to keep resupplying them. I may have another look at the UFO, I tried it some time back but think I needs to be more customisable, for example I like that followers can get killed and this is optional , but soon as I set this option so they can die my follower was killed by the first Trap they set off. May post some suggestions to the UFO after a little play around, have clocked over 2000 hours on this game since launch day, so make for a pretty good mod tester and have good suggestions,. From what I remember about UFO first up needs some options about followers been able to set off traps if your going to set them to be able to die. Secondly would like it set up in such a way that its my fault if they die, for example because I did not equip them with good enough Amour or Amour to suit them like say, Giving a Orc light armour Really screwing them up in battle, or even say you take a Wood Elf into battle without a good bow say at least Elven then they would be screwed if attacked by a dragon, small perks like that. Giving some Followers Lucky Ambulates would also be quite cool, would have to go through each follower individually to set the rules, but say for example Uthgerd's the Unbroken had in her Inventory just a renamed Enchanted lucky Ring Called Say "Uthgerd's Lucky Ring" which you could take and unenchant or sell if you liked, but by doing so made her 50% weeker in battle and more likely to be killed. -
My System Intel i-5 3570K on a Z77 Chipset, using that Speed Boost clocking feature to clock from 3.4 to 3.8 per core on the fly when needed, and with 32GB mSATA SSD running SRT 16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM, and its the lower voltage flavour at 1.35v rarther than 1.5v for extra clocking leg room Radeon HD7850 Card, looking to go X-fire soon hope maybe next payday. 4x Hard Drives 1x 2TB (SATA 2) used for media Storage, I back up all my steam games on there just copy them over to my Steam library when I want them. 1x 1TB (SATA 2) Used for just Spare Storage and as a download target, Ran out of room when this was my Media Storage Drive so got the 2TB drive but dont yet exceed 2TB of media data 1x 500GB (SATA 3) My C Drive, OS, Software,, active Steam Library on there. 1x 60GB (SATA 3 SSD) my Latest Edition to my system only purchased last weekend, this is a dedicated Games Drive, active steam library on there, only game on there to date is Skyrim,, NMM Aslo fully set up running from this drive. I boycotted Nvidia, did you guys hear about that Driver update they dished out around a year back, I was running a 9800 GTX at the time, And was hit by the driver update that turned all the fans off on the cards cooling system, was a f-up on there part effected a lot of peoples card on a number of different models, there Forums where swarmed with people who blew there card thanks to that driver F-up, I was one of them. The G-CArd Burn out was the final stick that pushed me over to AMD, since not long before that I was also on the now retired and no longer supported Nvidia N-force Chipset which they chose to abandon leaving users with System Crash bugs as the Windows update gen rolled on.

Better Control Over Followers First up I am aware of the Ultimate Followers Overhaul however this mods does not quite fit the fairly simple but very specific request I have in mind that would give me the exact control I would like over my Followers. Basically I would like a mod that keeps Followers exactly Vanilla expect for 3 very specific changes, I would also recommend to any mod'er willing to take on this project that the 3 requirements of this mod be done modular on separate files just so that it may appeal to a larger audience should anyone like access to any single one of these changes but not like the idea of having to have them all if preferred. Very simple Just full access to the followers inventory, I want to be able to get rid of any default Weapons or Armour, even if this leaves them completely defenceless with no Arrows to shoot even, I only want then to be able to equip and use Items I can control in there Inventory , including limits on ammo in terms of Arrows so when they run out of the Arrows I give them they can simply no longer use there bow. I want to be able to Order them to activate Guardian Stones and take the perks as the player would, under the same rules of order, ie, say for example I give them the Aetherial Crown , same rules apply as if it was the player. I want them to learn Spells and use them accordingly, I want this done on the basis, I give them a Spell Tone and that Spell Tone gets used, hence the Tone is gone and the follow can then use the acquired spell. On a final, I have no idea how levelling works in terms of the followers, however I want then to level up as the player does, the more they use a spell or weapon type the better they become with that skill, I would prefer the followers to level up at a slower pace to the player, maybe have there levels capped, maybe even go down the lines of capping specific abilities due to race of follower, for example a Nord Follower can never go above 25 on any Magic Skill where A Elf can rise to much Higher levels, or a Orc in Light Armor is stuck on 15 but can hit peak 100 on Heavy and so on. But Like I say I have no Idea how the Levelling system works with followers, so maybe someone with such knowledge can could be inspired to create a race base levelling cap system with much better insight into keeping lore friendly Immersion on the game.

I would love to see a mod that dramatically improves the unique weapon 'Red Eagles Bane" found during the Legend of Red Eagle Mission. Since the main prize and entire point of completing this mission is to obtain this, as the game describes, Legendary Sword, I feel that the entire look and abilities of this weapon is nothing more than a huge let down. I would like to see this Weapon become one of the top weapons in the game, with both a unique cool new look and some kind of Unique ability or Enchantment without going overboard and making it a god lie weapon. My suggestion for its strength would be, As much Damage as an Ebony Mace with the Weight of an Ebony Sword, while also been up gradable using Ebony instead of Steel following the basic rules of upgrading Ebony Weapons. As for its Enchantment I would suggest it holds a double Enchantment which cannot be Disenchanted, such as Drain both life and Stamina of a reasonable non-overpowering amount but powerful amount say 10 or 15. with the added perk of increasing your single weapon skill tree amount by 5% when used., As for the Looks,. I would leave this in the hands of a capable graphic designer who hopefully may wish to take on this mod and come up with an awesome looking weapon and not just some remodel of the Ancient Nordic Swords found commonly throughout the game.

How about adding the ability to double click on side movement controls to perform a combat style evade roll to be used in combat to evade enemy attacks. Was thinking this would be a really good feature to add to the combat system especially for stealth characters which may not want to rely on armor or block upgrades to withstand enemy attacks but instead give players the ability to be more illusive during combat with more chance to avoid been hit. Was Also thinking the speed and agility of an invade remover could be influenced by the type of Armour you are currently equipped with, such as when wearing Heavy Armour your character performs very slow and even shorter distance evade removers with a low percent chance of been successful in avoiding attacks, but when wearing Mage Ropes you are much faster and more illusive when performing an evade remover, Light Armor been a in between. Anyone think this one is possible?

Have you tried beating him to death with the Ebony Blade? -
Am looking for a mod that lets me kill and Soul Trap all the Orphans added with the Hearthfire update. I already collect the souls of my followers and mount there souls trapped in the swords I used to kill them on my wall. I want to fill my dagger cases the same way with Street Orphans that bug me on the streets.

one thing I am really enjoying doing with my character at the moment is killing any Thalmor agents I see roaming around the open plains, Having chosen to play as a Nord this time round, which is a first I have mostly done runs as a Wood Elf or Khajiit had one really good run with a Orc once as well, I have decided that my character is a true believer in Talos and has decided to rage his own personal war against the Thalmor, although I have no intent of joining the Stormclock rebellion I intend to help the Stormclocks in the shadows by taking out any Thalmor I see and trying to free any Stormclock prisoners. May even go one step further and run some solo planned raids to take out Imperial Camps, not even sure if its possible to do that have never tried it before but will find out. but these will be actions of my own making without joining the Stormclocks and having to take my orders from Ulfric, again am not sure if this will be possible, I have tried once before and failed, but I may try to make it a goal to become a powerful enough warrior to stop the execution and free the guard in Solitude who gets executed when you first visit. Since I am not playing this time to complete any main quests I may seek out a mod that allows me to kill anyone since I have no worries about breaking any of the main quests in order to achieve these goals should these task prove a no win situation due to unkillable characters. Although I have decided to complete the companions quests at least up to the point where I can become a werewolf simply because I want to use the superior sprint speed of been a werewolf to scout the open plains of skyrim.

to be fair, if tomorrow I was to turn on skyrim and find that it had become boring to the extent that I was to never play it again then I would have no complaints based on the amount of time and fun I have already had with this game, was worth every penny and then some in comparison to most other games I have purchased on another note personally i find the replay value very high, in fact i dare say this game has more replay value than any other i have ever played, in fact i recently started again and still enjoy different approachers and focusing in on different skill sets. i think its a to easy to just want to complete every mission and side quest in which case it does get boring because you maybe bored with a certain quest line after so long, but now i am more selective of the missions i wish to complete. the goal i have set myself on the current game i am playing for example is not to become all super powerful in all areas and collect every rare item, but instead to be a lone explorer who travels the open areas looking to help other, am not going to settle down in one area use followers or purchase property, but instead only carry what i wish to use, have only one set of armour at a time, only learn a select few enchantments i wish to use, only collect ingredient for potions i wish to create and just sleep out rough in conquered bandit bases, no fat travelling just exploring and facing the land with no set home base and just select given missions like bounty mission in there area i am in until i feel like moving on. am not even going to complete any guild quests or use magic since i have decided to role out a character that is on the side of the anti magic common community beliefs

Spike in smiting level progress
KillerSkark1978 replied to KillerSkark1978's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I took off all my mods and fixed the problem, have since turned a few back on and its still ok, one mod that could have been responsible is the more craftables mod I had installed which I am yet to turn back on, this is not however proven since there are other mods still turned off that could sill have triggered this issue, however going on the information above this mod seems the most likely. Will check it out when I get chance and give a definite verdict, but am not at home on my gaming pc at the moment, but will update once I know which one it was -
Ok so I just started playing again from the start only there seems to be a bug with level progression in smiting. what happens is it goes up way to quickly so fast in fact that Level 100 is reached by the time I complete the first tutorial in Riverwood just helping Alvor around the forge, the very first time I created an Iron dagger it went from Level 20 to 35 in one swoop and never slowed up, was at Level 50 by the time I finished sharpening the dagger, I have a stack of Mods installed but non of them should be doing this will check tho just in case, will try turning them all off and will go back to see if its fixed. Anyone else have this same problem?

I just got one just now against a Troll, and it did not even kill the Troll just left it down critically wounded hopeless on its knees waiting to be finished but still was not dead, so must not have to be a death blow to get a highlight on you critical hits at least with Bows. I still think the timing theory is valid it seems to be I get them for good steady well placed shots where I just bite the right time, I think you have to be still and in good position when you take the shot, and get good timing from the draw to the release, its kind of not to quick like moments after you have the bow fully drew back but not instantly, just remain still when you draw the bow them take aim but wait until you have the bow fully drawn back and are in good position before you move to take aim, and dont move feet just take aim by looking round not physically moving your character, then once you have good aim no stalling you should already have you bow ready and drawn back, so just steady your position via a quick halt of all movement and let the arrow fly, Entire process has to be in a good controlled timely manor but not rushed, kind of like hand weapon attacks where you are better of timing your blows and not button mashing but instead waiting for your current strike to complete before pressing again for the next. I think its just the same here all about timing, and like I say I get this a lot when I use the Bow and thats pretty much how I take my shots, and am not using any kind of Mod to enhance such features. nut having said that I am Wood Elf so could also help with Archery been oen of his natrual strengths based on race,
-
I think its a lot to do with good aim and timing, you cant rush your shot or take to long over it ether, and you have to get your aim right at the perfect moment in the chain from drawing your bow to the release, I get this a lot when I take care over a shot so its defiantly possible to get a highlight reel bow kill as I call them. Just wanted to add that the statement above is incorrect about the target been the last one in range, I have had consecutive bow kill moves when in the same area of combat with multiple opponents.
