To be specific, the options show up in the MCM menu and all, but it seems to be impossible to stop the game from forcing it to be last enemy restricted, regardless of what I have toggled in the MCM. I had the same problem with The Dance of Death, which is why I tried to install this one instead. (also, do these mods use scripts? Because I want to minimize the amount of things with scripts I have to remove, but don't even know what has them and what doesn't.) Here's my mod list if it's necessary, LOOT didn't tell me about any conflicts though.

About as much as what can go wrong seems to have gone wrong, except it doesn't CTD I guess. Blackening screens, rainbow triangles, monochrome, some kind of weird thing that makes it look like it was painted over by a bad artist trying to fix the integrity of damaged portraits, black eyes, ALL THE THINGS! flashing all over the place. Weirdest thing is, this doesn't even happen until I exit Understone Keep. I tried to follow the instructions in this video as closely as possible: (Except after the part where they started getting things that weren't the ENB, do I have to get all of those lighting and water mods too to get this to work?) with the exception of how I did modify my VideoMemorySizeMb parameter. I think I may have done some other things differently too but only when the True Vision ENB page specifically told me to in the installation notes, such as using an older version of the files on the ENBdev site. The video memory size thing is what I'm most suspicious about, it's at 9352(tell me if that number looks weird) because my RAM and VRAM put together was 11400 megabytes. But I don't even know if I was supposed to measure in megabytes. I also don't know if I was supposed to use my actual RAM number or the usable RAM number, though I went with the latter since that made more sense to me. I downloaded that ENBoost thing a long while ago too, if those count as ENB files I was supposed to remove or something (I didn't.) I'm using the natural ENB preset and the No SSAO-SSIL(whatever that even means) + No DoF performance option. And if it matters, I'm also running the game with ModOrganizer. Is there a mod that puts everybody in summer equipment? It's awkward looking at NPCs in thick clothes in Tropical Skyrim.

If I were to, say, move a container from some Dwemer ruin or whatever using Jaxonz Positioner into a mod home (as opposed to a vanilla home) would it become safe (inside the home)? I know it normally determines what container is safe based on where it is but I just want to make sure since it isn't a vanilla home I want to move it to.

So, in order to use the animation for the one-handed crossbow mod, I had to learn how to unpack (and repack) the animations file Skyrim uses because for whatever reasons Oblivion's folder system is so yesterday. I got the BSAopt program and followed the steps exactly here. I don't think I got that much wrong but I'm still clueless. Now here's what I've been having trouble finding, information on repacking these things. The BSAopt method reduces the filesize to obscenely low amounts (and testing it gives predictable results, everybody be T-stancing) whereas the Archive.exe method is...kind of confusing and I have no idea if I did anything right? (I guess it did export a .bsa file...) But trying that one makes everyone T-stance too. I doubt it's a matter of me messing up changing the animations (I only had to change the staff animations, I don't think this should be messing up EVERY animation) so it's got to be something to do with this process of repacking (or I just got it wrong from the start unpacking.) What's the most recent/trustworthy method for doing this?

So, I have basically what amounts to the bare minimum requirements for the RealVision ENB. I'm not going to actually get the RealVision ENB because I'm not that crazy about graphics in my games, but I'm using it as a measuring stick. I'm mainly looking for one that is bright and saturated, like RealVision (just color-wise), I can do without tons of special effects and so on. Just want to know which ones are better known for sucking up system resources and which ones are less stressful for my computer. Seasons of Skyrim seemed to be the most interesting to me(mostly because I can change it up whenever I get bored of whatever season), but I have absolutely no idea as to its system requirements (basically, more intensive than RealVision or less?) although to be frank I don't even know if Seasons of Skyrim is an ENB (it looks like it does something rather different from the rest of the ENB reviews I've seen.)

So, aside from the Civil War Overhaul, there are three big mods that I want to play: Falskaar Helgen Reborn The Wheels of Lull However, running them all at once sounds like a recipe for disaster, simply because they are so large and might have tons of overlapping issues. I personally wanted to play through one big mod, disable it, and then install a different big mod. Here's where that becomes a problem: I don't want to start a new game every time I want to play a different mod. Disabling/enabling things, however, may have issues of lingering scripts and whatever problems that does. Basically, I just want to know, does anyone have all three (or had) and don't have (enough) problems with them installed at the same time?

Can't even get the starting screen to load.
Edmania replied to Edmania's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I think ECE sounds better for my needs than RaceMenu, actually. (That said, for whatever reason, the RaceMenu Plugin didn't mention needing RaceMenu as its master in the mod manager.) Tried turning off one of my airship files (I only wanted one of them for its interior rooms to link to the other one anyway.) SkyUI load order changed. Ran the TES5Edit thing. The last thing tried to load before it had an error was ClimatesOfTamriel-Sound.esp, after which it says Fatal: <EOSError: System Error. Code:2. The system cannot find the file specified> I'm assuming that the file that is needed is that one, then? Or am I reading the log wrong? Thanks for the fast reply. -
So I finally decided to mod Skyrim. I had a whole bunch of mods I liked ready but for a while I didn't have the computer to support it by any means. However, after I've done the procedures and so on (I'm not TOTALLY new to this, modding Oblivion gave me a headstart at least, even if that was long ago for me to not remember most of what I used to do specifically) I found that my game crashed. Before the New Game option even showed up. Shows the Imperial symbol for like 2 seconds and bam, crash. I knew this wasn't going to be easy(Oblivion modding wasn't something I got instantly right either) but this is pretty disheartening. Things I speculate are the problem: 1:My really stupid decision to clean the masterfiles after installing all the mods (I literally never opened the game except before I ever used anything whatsoever on it, and until after I applied every mod however, if that matters) as I forgot cleaning was a thing until it was too late. 2:My other stupid mistake of accidentally uninstalling mods double-clicking them in Nexus Mod Manager (but again, never opened game until that was over with.) 3:My installation order (doubt it but might as well mention it) which was something like: -Main game, DLC --Unofficial Patches ---SKSE, ENBoost (I don't know if I got the right file for ENBoost though, the ENB downloads thing was not very straightforward at all. I got the most recent one on this page, to be specific.) ----Gameplay alteration mods (iNeed, ACE masterfile, Dance of Death, and so on. Something else that may have been dumb is installing SkyUI after installing mods that needed it instead of before.) -----Dragon Combat Overhaul, Civil War Overhaul (this also mentioned replacing files, which I didn't do.) ------Followers, horses, airships -------Cosmetic mods 4:Inability to handle the strain that something like Climates of Tamriel (or whatever it was called) would cause (doubt it, as I cannot even enter Skyrim's environment without pressing new game) 5:Conflictfest as a result of load order issues or incompatibility (I don't think so since I was pretty choosy about which mods to use depending on what my other mods did but I never know what's going to happen with this game. I already did the LOOT ordering though.) 6:Adding too many mods to the game at once (I recall this maybe being a problem in Oblivion?) Apparently the person here who had the same problem found the solution of removing the blocks: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/372295-weird-glitch-with-alexander-wings/ But I have no idea what those blocks he's talking about are, in NifSkope the only blocks(which I assumed to mean "cubes" I could see that I could easily remove were essential ones, because when I loaded the game after I removed those blocks the wings were not visible at all.

Using what was said in the third post here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/119130-is-it-possible-to-remove-creatures-from-the-game/ So basically, I replaced the meshes of all spider daedra and zombies. (And their sounds, and spells, and inventories, and combat styles. Took two hours and triple-checked my work...) When I pressed the preview button, it was fine, the spider daedra looked like burned skeletons and the zombies looked like frost atronaches made of coal. So then I saved the mod and then put it as high up the mod loading order thingy in the Oblivion Mod Manager. And then, when I loaded the game... There were no enemies changed. What did I do wrong?

Like, when i'm in a dungeon, use the more dangerous sounding battle music if i'm being attacked, and on the world map/outside world/whatever you call the places you can fast travel from, using the less dangerous sounding battle music when i'm attacked, and also differences between day music and night music when outside.

It's invisible for me too, what's the program you use to apply a different save's face to mine?
-
Use this save's face on my player character: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/download.php?id=87327

I can't find a save game with the same face. I have found something better than my current one though. http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=41085#content The "Moonshadow Lop-ears elf" is the save with a better face than mine. Here's my save file: http://www.mediafire.com/?2a2m1woh4m7z4wu You need to have this mod installed for the custom race, though: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=37368

Problems with Devil May Cry Combat v2
Edmania replied to Edmania's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
No one knows anything? -
I'm trying to copy this head's shape: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/30707-4-1269704995.jpg But every change I try only makes it worse-looking on my character: http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j46/Edmania/skinandhairadjusted.jpg The race is the same other than the ears, but I can't seem to get the cheek/jaw area smooth like the first link's sample image for that race. Is there some sort of special program I should be using to get it just right instead of trying hard to get anything decent?
-
Nevermind, I found that the problem is different. There are white rectangles following me or something whenever I have Alexander's Wings equipped, it doesn't have to do with my race. I checked showracemenu and my skin wasn't going very far into the blue side of the sliders though, and it still looks really blue. I'm not sure if it is a glitch or not.

This mod: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=34879 I installed it as well as I could based on the readme, even tried the extra directions for if it didn't work, and well, the animations are playing fine. However, the Bowslinger mode isn't letting me shoot arrows with rapid fire (even assuming it doesn't need arrows, the enemies take no damage), the Devil Trigger just has this big thing standing over my character with no other difference (not that I really mind since I never use that part anyway, but still, it's not working properly) the dimensional cuts never hit anything that iosn't directly in front of me (that is, within the range of my sword normally, though the animation only implies it should go further so it might actually be working right but i'm not sure) and I can't find anything that would "cancel charged attacks" in Swordmaster mode, if I assume that charged attacks are power attacks, and even if they are something else I don't know of a function that lets me "cancel" anything so this mode is more or less the same thing as just killing anything with vanilla Oblivion. The only thing I can think of that may be wrong is that I do not have Deadly Reflex, and the page only says "if you have Deadly Reflex" for a specific combat style that I don't use often so I don't think that is the problem.
-
Does anyone know what the sword here is? http://www.oblivionmodwiki.com/images/8/8a/Deadly_Reflex_3-1.jpg

I've seen some that increase durability and change around how repairing goes, but I can't seem to find anything that makes it impossible for items to break due to durability not existing or something. The durability thing bothers me greatly even though none of my items have broken yet cause I started Oblivion after Skyrim(PS3, I got Oblivion because my computer could handle it, which means mods) where items are incapable of breaking.

It seems like the zooming/moving around function in the full preview of NPCs is very difficult to control. Are there options or specific buttons I should be pressing to get a better view? Sometimes my NPC edits will not wear the new clothes I give them. I am using mod clothes if that means anything. But anyway for some reason when I changed a guard's stuff tothis and I loaded the game, the guards were wearing sack cloth shirts and chainmail greaves. Another NPC I edited to have pieces of that same armor does not have the chest shield plate thingy appear for some reason in the preview, and the preview seems to be accurate with the in-game stuff most of the time. I also can't seem to get anyone but the player character to wear capes(tail slot). Also, is it possible to change your NPCs voice? Hearing the male imperial voice on a custom pretty boy race is really weird, and I recall there being voices in-game that would be less awkward. Alternatively, disabling voices for particular NPCs entirely. When I attempt to place an NPC in a cell, they always appear in some super high place for some reason. In some cells this has not been a problem when I loaded the game to test, but i'd rather have them working anywhere. The cell preview function also seems to be difficult to control as simply pressing the down arrow will send it down so far that you won't be able to see most of the cell and the zooming doesn't seem to be that great either.
