There are gas traps in this game. There I was, on my eleventy hundreth play through and I'm creeping through Stoney Creek cave. I always wondered why there was a 'heat ripple' effect right in the area of the side tunnel. I used a flame spell on the bandits and the whole tunnel blew up. Of course I'm now seeing them all over. This time I was a mage. afore, I was ever and always a stealth archer. I guess the fire enchantment I 'd usually put on my bow didn't qualify as enough to ignite the gas. And that's my story of still finding new things in the game.

When I first started up MW all I saw was a wacky mess. Made me go buy my first graphics card upgrade.

Morrowind had to have been much more habitable at one point and pretty well forested to judge from all the dead trees i see in the wastes. Veloth wouldn't have led the Chimer to a barely habitable hell hole to live. Of course, that's just the state the island of Vardenfell is in. We don't know what mainland Morrowind is like. All we have ever seen is the island and Mournhold. Because of Red Mountain and Dagoth Ur's control over the volcano's activity the island is an extreme example of life in Morrowind.

This doesn't qualify as troubleshooting but this seems to be the closest forum for my issue. If you'll look at the attached picture, you'll see she's wearing a hijab looking hood. I'm trying to find out what mod it originated fro or the modder's name. I have MW mods going back to almost the day it hit the shelves but I apparently lost this one over the years. Thanks for any help.

I went to an ingame enchanter, spent a fortune getting a dagger enchanted with a fire effect. Ran outside to test it. Several monsters were happy to volunteer. I cut them to pieces but the enchantment never fired off. They didn't burn. The charge didn't go down. Possible OpenMW issue?

Nevermind Regedit. I just moved the relevant esp from virtualstore to the install folder. My mod works, kinda. i made a shield using the bits made by a modder for me years ago. I have a NIF, a GND_NIF and a TGA. The shield does show up in game looking like it should but there's no icon and it doesn't show on the paper doll.

I did half of that. I pulled the MW folder out and moved it to the C root. Runs fine. I'll try doing the Regedit thing.

People are obviously still making mods. Is there a work around for this folder virtualization?

My media is so old, I still have my MW disk from 2002. That, and the GOTY I bought from Best Buy in like 2004. Beth itself says you can change the install location. When was that option added? I presume my problems with the CS are due to WIN10.

OK, next problem. MW defaults to the x86 and can't be changed. I presume there's a work around?

Yes, I just learned about that issue on the WIKI. I guess I must rip the x86 install out?

I've reinstalled MW after many years, being stuck at home because of you-know-what. I made a plug in that changes a few values such as gem prices. However, it's not showing up in Data files. It shouldn't be dependent on anything but the MW.ESM but if I did change something that depended on T or BM can I just add the others as dependencies to cover myself?

Basically, I can't playback the memory gem for Capt Adius. I don't get an option when I speak to him. Can someone tell me the setstage to advance this or better yet, how to find quest stages in the creation kit. I don't understand how to use this CK, Thanks in advance.
