  1. In mass effect, the weapon shaves the ammo from a dense block of metal within the weapons body, the idea with this mod is to replace all physical ammo and caseless ammo with thermal clips. This would mean to have guns just use thermal clip that store the heat and recharges the metal in the gun, and ejects when the heat sink is used up. In other words, replace all ballistic ammo types to thermal clips from mass effect. I'm tired of having 20 different ammo types, especially when all the enemies are bullet sponges and I have to switch guns all the time. If I only find 1 or 2 types of ammo in the game instead of 20, then perfect.
  2. You don't have to remove the optional recap dialogue, maybe put a [Recap] on them, a lot of dialogue options in the game are recaps, where the characters insult you for not paying attention. I want to either not have the recap dialogue show up, or I want there to be a note on the front so I don't accidentally click it and get told how stupid I am for not paying attention.
  3. When you are done with a mission, why do you need to go back to the person that gave you the quest? Why not go to your ship, and have an option to call them and tell them that the job is done? If they need to give you something as a reward, maybe they can ask a space delivery service to send it to constellation, and you can pick it up later in a chest in the lobby? If having a mission button be one of the options when you are on the ship menu, maybe on the quest screen, once you are at the part where they tell you to go back to the client, you can click a "complete mission". As for end mission dialogue, they already have commination when you talk to other ships, use the same function but with the person. They can say the exact things they were going to say before though the radio, before you get the mission complete.
  4. Other idea from video, He brings up the point that in every planet there are either other ships landing or human structures and settlements. Why is no animal, rock or plant cataloged already? Such there are abandoned research stations, but it is weird that no-one knows what is on a planet until you check it out, or at least constellation doesn't. Every big organization should already have all info on the planets, and maybe something happened in an older generation of constellation, were all the info they has was stolen or destroyed. Meaning you can scan the places yourself, or you can go to an organization to to buy info on a place, so you can see what planets have what you are looking for. Or, maybe the info is free on space wiki (at least for planets that are inhabited)
  5. I think to make temples more immersive, we need to do somethings that are talked about in this video I watched. To make the temples more immersive, I am thinking about making it that the temples don't have any human buildings around it, and also make it so that it is cloaked from all sides, the only way to enter is through an invisible maze on ground level, any other way would make you walk though the structure? This means you can't land on it from above and you can't just stumble upon it, you have to be looking for it. Then when you get to the other side of the cloak, you can see outside the force field and see the floating rocks. So in order to do this, I am thinking about making the structures separate loading areas. This way, if you don't do the maze, you just walk past the door, and if you do it, the door is unlocked and you can enter. Then the area loads. As for doing it, 220 times. how about once you have the power once, when you stumble upon the temple during the next new game+, a fast travel option pops up, that lets you skip the mini game and just go though the force field. Or you can make it like a one way mirror, where if you don't have the power you go out the other side, unless you do the maze, but if you have the power, you end up on the other side of the mirror? He has some other points in the video, some are good, but I don't see anything else that could be part of this mod.
  6. I want the option to choose between local and universal time when I skip or sleep, who wants to sleep 800 hrs by mistake? What am I, a vampire going through torpor?
  7. My response to this topic gave me another mod idea https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/13249737-max-stats-for-all-spacesuits-helmets-backpacks-clothes/ Instead of changing the colors and appearance of outfits with mods each time, maybe a dye system and new outfit options to go with my transmog idea. If you can add new armor pieces into the game, you don't even have to give them stats that might effect gameplay balance and you don't have to replace an option that already exists, you can just make it a new item and then transmog it over the suit you where going to use anyways. Perfect for people that what options as well, like some mods I see, that just change the opacity of the glass of the space suit or something, this could just be a 0 def, 0 weight item that is used as an outfit choice over your armor.
  8. This video brings up a good point, how about you make it so the doors and ladders are attachments that you have to put on habs? This way, unless you put on a connection, the habs won't have a door between them. And more importantly, If you have a access point? (Still have no idea what to call them) connection, then the door/stair would be there and not somewhere else.
  9. Maybe 2 things to choose from? Just like in some games, where you can use one outfit as what it looks like you wear and another for stats. I think the term is called Transmog. This way you can have the stat progression of outfits (low level players find low level equipment), but make them look however you want, I think weaving in FO4 was something like this?
  10. I considers about a way to make space combat more interesting. Besides aiming at the grav drive, what would be a way to keep enemies engaged in a fight? This can work both ways, against you and for you. Lore wise, this is a way to smooth out space-time wrinkles, meaning that you can't warp away. Gameplay-wise, this means setting grav-drive engines HP to 0 in the range when turned on. This can be used by you to stop enemies from running away or against you by pirates or law enforcement. You can have this as a missile that blows out a EMP like wave that hits grav-drives in range or something to attach to your ship, and when you turn in on, anything in a radius around you, including you can't warp. This makes sense in a world building sense, because unless the grav-drive is visible. Most people would warp away from a losing battle, so how would pirates stop ships from fleeing, and how would cops stop pirates from fleeing? Space-anchors of course.
  11. I want to eventually see the background dialogue options for other backgrounds without having to make a new character and play from another 50+ hours. I was thinking, what about making the dialogue options available to you, once you have all the required skills. Example: I am a beast hunter, if I want to unlock bouncer background dialogue options, I would need to learn boxing and security, because I already have fitness.
  12. maybe a mod to save ship designs, so that when you new game+, you can just go to a blueprint and buy the ship without having to redesign it
  13. I kind of want to not have a cutscene for the train ride, if possible. I want to go in, and be able to see the area outside as it travels, of course, maybe it could be an option? Like if you press F outside the train you fast travel with a cutscene, but if you want in the train without pressing anything, you just ride it?
  14. What I meant for spoilers, is events that you haven't found in any universe yet. So if you found something last universe, and what to find it this universe, it would not be blurred
  15. I haven't done new game plus yet. But I am scared that I will have to find the triggers to unlock events and easter eggs again, such as the mantis. So I was thinking, what if you can get a menu that shows all the events you did, what you are missing, and where/ how to start them. To make it better for people that don't want spoilers, you can blur them, and click a checkbox to unblur any events/ quests/ and eastereggs you haven't found in this universe yet. For people that what to 100% before every unity. Also a missible tag? for things that you can permanently miss depending on choices, traits, or missing the trigger in an area that you can't go back to.
  16. I noticed some powers need to be improved, because ranking them up does nothing of makes it worse. This channel goes over it, but I will tell you what I think should be some upgrades for some underwhelming powers. Gravity Wave: Ranking it up does nothing, either lower the cost from 25 to 5 at rank 10 or increase range or both. maybe make it wider as well? Particle Beam: Rank 10 sucks, maybe lower cost or more damage, or maybe make it lower cost and faster, so it becomes more of a machine gun power?Creator's Peace: IDK what ranking does, make it cheaper? Moon Form: Instead of increasing duration, each level should reduce cost. Alien Reanimation: Since it is similar to inner demon but worse, maybe reduce the cost or increase the duration? Parallel Self: Maybe have it match your health and reduce cost? Make it a percent of your health per rank, and 100% at rank 10?
