  1. Now that the creation kit is out, I'm looking to put together a Skyrim Mod Development team. looking at first developing smaller scale mods, and gradually increasing difficulty of the projects. As a mod team there will be the basic game dev positions needed, though remember this is just for fun! I have some rough themes/ideas for some mods, though these are of a much higher difficulty for now. But until then this is kind of just a group of people wanting to develop Skyrim mods, and have fun! 2. I'd recommend Audacity, which is free. And to have them record local and send you a .wav file which is pretty standard as far as I know. I would have to look into what format the engine uses for audio, but .wav can most likely be converted into whatever is needed.
  3. I've done a little bit of music-type audio engineering, but nothing for games. But my 2 cents would be simply to get a decent USB condenser type microphone.. I think you can get one for around $50 now. and use a program called Audacity, which is free, to record and clean up your recordings. I also imagine that the engine uses some sort of environmental audio system for a realistic effect. so I wouldn't overdue the effects in Audacity before bringing it into the engine. Hope this helps!
