Wow! I played the Morrowind Lichcraft mod for many hours that eventually my save was very odd and glitchy. Not completely related but if you want something to tide you over whilst this mod is in development you may want to try out the SM essential player mod. It basically makes you essential, if you lose all of your health you kneel to the floor with critical health. If you die shortly after being knocked down to critical health you become a ghost, and have to wait to return back to life, and then you'll have to collect your gear. You could roleplay some sort of immortality or semi-lichdom with that. The mod can be found here SM Essential Player @ SkyrimNexus My apologies for taking the attention away from the mod!

Vile Art of Necromancy is quite good and I think it would work well with this mod. Just posting again to say I am (still) looking forward to this mod, after playing 200 hours of Skyrim my interest is waning a little bit and this seems just the kind of thing to rekindle the game for me.

Who cares what others do in their own time, as long as it doesn't hurt any one. I don't even understand why anyone would even need to ask someone a reason for this.

I think the Traditional Lich still has a place, I'm sure there are those who do not want those extra abilities. I'm looking forward to your mod, it looks like it is shaping up to be a "killer" mod, of which there aren't that many for Skyrim yet (In my opinion of course).

It's not to say that they aren't good liche types, it's just personally I like the idea of having to constantly acquire a new host, I've always been into that sort of game play I suppose. I would probably try them all, the Vampiric Lich also sounds like it could be fun. I think the true lich would be a bit too plain for me though!

From the sounds of it this mod will be great! I really enjoyed The Illuminated Order mod for Morrowind, and also VenomByte's Lichcraft mod. I like the sound of all of the different lich types, though I think I prefer the phylactery lich over the others! All the best with the mod, keep up the great work!
