  1. I have switched from Nexus Mod Manager to Mod Organizer 2.2.0. I have in game saves from when I was using Nexus Mod Manager and also the saves from the new profile in Mod Organizer. When I open any of the saves in game, that where created when I was using Nexus Mod Manager, the message comes up, that I am missing several mods that this save relies on. Another point in this matter is, if I select the Default profile all of the saves show up. If I select the profile that I created from Mod Organizer the saves from the profile of the character that I crated when using Nexus Mod Manager saves appear. When selecting the profile from the Nexus Mod Manager it shows the correct saves but shows the missing mod error. I have created three profiles. The first is the default profile, one for the new character when starting the use of Mod Manager and one for the old character that was created when using Nexus Mod Manager. All have basically the same set up. I have transferred the saves for the Nexus character by copying them from the “global characters” to the “Characters for profile” for that character, in the profile manager within Mod Organizer. Can anyone help me with this problem?
  2. I have a situation where mods I am downloading are not showing up in Workshop menu, in game. I have just started using Mod Organizer 2.2.0. I have used MO with Skyrim before so I am A little familiar with its workings. I have used “FO4ME ModENabler Tool” before starting to mod so my ini files should be in order, I have checked them. I installed “Settlement Menu Manager” for a couple mods that require it. I think this is where the problem started. I downloaded and installed “SMM” improperly according to the mod author. It should have been installed after leaving vault 111. I installed it before leaving the vault. There is a menu fix within SMM but I am having trouble getting it to work because I am missing the tape in game. My alternative solution was to un-install and delete SMM and the mod that is dependent on it and re-install it after leaving the vault. This worked for SMM and the new mod but after installing another non dependent mod, the new mod does not show up. My question is, what can I do to resole this issue? Do I have to re-install Fallout 4? Do I re-install Mod Organizer?
  3. I have recently started using “Duplicate Anything”. I also use the “Place Everywhere” mod. The “Place Everywhere” mod is outstanding. The two together make for great building options. Sometimes after I have used console command “spawndupe” I have run into a problem. I go to my settlement and in console I type “moveto player”. This usually works fine but after the item appears, the item will not turn green, so I am unable to make any placement adjustments. In building mode, the item will not turn green when I try to select it so I am unable to move it in any way. Other times this works great and sometimes I am actually able to pick the piece up like any other piece from my inventory. Yesterday I moved several pieces and three out of five would not turn green. Out of frustration I shut it down and went to bed. This morning those pieces turn green and I am able to move those same pieces that I could not move yesterday. I tried to collect another piece from the commonwealth and not only can I not move the new one but two pieces I moved yesterday morning will not turn green now. I have tried shutting everything down and re-starting, thinking it might reset but that doesn’t seem to help. I have posted this on both of the mod sites and have had no replies yet. I am hoping someone can shed some lite on this.
  4. I do somewhat understand about that but I am not sure I understand how would that help the not being able to swim issue?
  5. I finally found the culprit. Omegacron was right. 100% mod issue. JimmyRJump is also in the right direction. It was hard to find the mod conflict because it did not show up when the mod was activated. The minute I changed my test character’s cloths, by accident, is when the problem started. It is a set or armor added by that mod along with all these fun things so it doesn’t show up until you use that set of armor. I have used this mod for a long time with no problem until the mod author updated and added new items. After uninstalling that mod all seems to be fine except for a previously created character. I must have started this character before the mod update. After the uninstall of the mod this character still cannot swim. Is there hope in salvaging this character, or is this character’s save corrupt now, never to be recovered? I know nothing of the TCL console command and how it works but I will investigate it ASAP. Thanks to both of you on this matter.
  6. This is what I have done: Disabled all plugins (except the vanilla ones) in NMM Created a new character Enabled all of the plugins as I had them previouslyThis new character seems to be running fine. I tried playing my last created character that is at level 94. He still cannot swim. What I do not understand is why the oldest character at level 98 is not affected by this. They all have the same mods and load order. Any suggestions? It just seems not to be a mod conflict.
  7. Thank you Omegacron! I had tried both of those steps with no results but not both at the same time. You are a gentleman and a Scholar. So, what do you think the chances are of saving my last created character. He did not respond when I eliminated all of the mods. I still think it is quite strange that my older characters are not affected by this conflict. Such is gaming. Again, thank you for leading me in the right direction. I have been struggling with this for going on three weeks now. This is one lesson I will not forget. You have made my weekend!
  8. I have a glitch or bug that has just popped up in my game about two weeks ago. At first, I was ready to blame my set up. Maybe my mods and/or load order, BUT I have 4 old characters that I have many hours of play time on and they have worked just fine. Swimming has not been a problem for them. I thought I would create a new character and try a playthrough with a different approach to the game. Well, that is when I acquired this glitch where the character cannot swim. They walk on the water as the water is vibrating and bouncing around as soon as they get just below waist deep in the water. I have tried to create 5 different characters this last two weeks and all of them have the same problem. I have tried uninstalling a few mods that I thought could be causing the issue but have not had any in game results. I have been searching all over the forums and have come up with no resolution to this problem. Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on and how to solve it?
