Right now I am trying to edit Lydia in CK to use one of the Apachii Sky hair styles. I was able to figure out how to change her hair in Creation Kit itself, and I saved the changes into a new plugin. However after this I hit a wall: no matter what I do I can't make the Dark Face bug go away (Lydia still has vanilla hair but her face is now extremely dark brown). I know about the Ctrl+F4 feature. However even after I make sure it exports the face data, I still get the dark face bug in game. With the help of google I was able to find what I think is the textures and meshes that get exported. When I delete them, Lydia reverts back to the way she was before. I know Ctrl F4 is supposed to fix this but clearly something has gone wrong. Can someone give me a clear step by step of what I need to do to fix this? This is my first time using Creation Kit so don't be afraid to speak slowly :wink: Or if there is some other way that is relatively simple, please let me know. Thanks. EDIT: I have not started a fresh save, if that matters.

I have AFT installed too. No idea how the perk synergy works, but I also get two handed level up, even though neither I nor any of my followers use two handed weapons.
