  1. I have all the mentioned f I have all fixes and patches that you mentioned. But still doesn't work as it should. LOOT says it's all good (no missing patches or something). I guess I will have to play with some stutters and bit low framerate. My resolution is 2560x1440. Game version is GOG 1.6.659.0.
  2. Hi. Every since I have started playing Skyrim (no matter what version: LE, SE, AE), I just can't get it to work smoothly. It always stutters, and can't get framerate up to 60. In most areas I get form 15 - 50 framerate. I know that with LE and SE version I was playing on older (laptop) system - so that's why it was not playing as it should. But For more than year now I have different and more capable system, and AE version is struggeling in many places. And I don't know what to do to make it work smoother. My systems specs: Intel CORE i7-11700KF @3,6G Hz (8 cores)/ Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB)/ 16 GB RAM (DDR4-3200)/ 1TB SSD disk/ Display: SAMSUNG G7 32" (with up to 240 Hz refresh rate). As I have checked, my system should run Skyrim smooth, as iz is better than recomended specs for the game. But no matter what I do, what settings I choose, or whatever I set in ini files, game still runs at low framerate. I have even tried mods that speeds up or uncap framerate, set game to run on single core (as it was recomended somewhere), nothing helps. In crowded places (ingame) sometimes framerate falls to even 13 or less. I'm lost, and don't know what to do anymore. Most of my textures are 2K. And YES, I'm running with ENB. But even without ENB I get same problems. And I have one other problem. Sometimes when I play and walk around or look to the sky (just at night ingame time), picture starts to flash (like display is trying to change refreshrate or is struggeling with refresh rate) - I get horizontal lines all over display. This happens only at game nighttime and not always. Will post picture when I get this problem next time. And this can be realy annoying. So can someone help me how to get my Skyrim AE run smoothly? Becouse I have seen few Youtubers, who have weaker system than mine and play Skyrim smooth, even if they record gameplay and has open other programs.
  3. I have tried a lot of ENB's to find wright for me. But in almost every one I had same problem. When I looked at the night sky, my whole screen was flickering. I tried everything, but nothing helped. It's like whole screen was flashing. So today I tired one thing and disabled postpasshaders in ENB UI. After that flickering was gone. Can anyone explain what is postpasshaders and what do they do? I don't know how this will affect qimage quality of ENB. Should I turn it back on or I can leave it disabled?
  4. Can anyone tell me how to make 3rd person camera to be in center of screen. Becouse now if I go to 3rd person character is on the left. But If I zoom out further character is so far, but in cneter. I need him to be near and in center.
  5. I have by mistake changed npc body weight. So can anyone tell me what's default (vanilla) body weight for Corpulus Vinius (owner of Winking Skeever in Solitude)?
  6. Yes, I understand, that you are telling me, taht I must not delete appdata mods folder. After reading few other posts on same thing, I have discovered, that I have one other folder under appdata. One is previous posted folder. But other is (as in Vortex settings) appdata/roaming/Vortex/downloads/skyrimse. Than I can delete this files? Becouse in previous mentioned folder are actually installed mods. But in this now mentioned folder are mods themselves (zipped). To better understand, can I delete files that are under vortex settings on picture? https://i.imgur.com/QSYKZVR.jpg
  7. here you mean the download archives that contain the mod files rather than the mods themselves. As has been posted above in at least two replies - you have been advised to either move these archives from your hdd to an external drive of some sort, or, once the mods have been installed in your game and are found to be working, delete the mod ARCHIVES, which will free up space. Also documented above, this advice comes with a caveat - if you need to reinstall the mods, you will have to redownload the mod archive from nexusmods as you deleted the mod archive. pen drives do not contain memory - they contain disk storage. small but necessary correction. i have to ask - are you reading any of the replies that people have provided, because all of this has been discussed and pointed out to you. in conclusion 1.there are no duplicate files on your system. this is a complete fallacy you're clinging to for some reason that makes no sense to me 2. you are free to delete your mod ARCHIVES to free up disk space. 3. you need to get a larger disk size. 256GB is okay for your OS but for anything else it's next to useless. what kind of system are you playing on? is it a laptop of some description, or a chrome book? its been quite a while since a larger system, desktop or gaming system came with just a 256gb hdd. Don't get me wrong. read all posts, but you have to understand that english is not my primary language and there are some things that I don't understand. I'm trying to do my best. And to answer you, I'm playing on laptop and on Windows 10. As I read in one of posts, this files (mods) that are stored on appdata folder, don't need to be (installed) there, and I can move them on external HDD. Of course, than I have to change settings in Vortex itself. If I understand correctly. But, If I move them lets say to my pen drive and have it connected every time I play Skyrim, do I need to reinstall mods then, if I move appdata mods? Or can I just move them, change path in Vortex and that's it? In the other hand, I have decided, that I will install less mods that I usualy did (mostly textures) and some heavier mods like Bruma, that I will save some space.
  8. Ok. 1.) Mod staging folder is in my case in appdata/roaming/vortex/skyrimse/mods. The same as I posted before. Becouse I left this setting as it was at installation. 2.) Well my disk has 256GB (quite small SSD). And I never save mods on my disk (like manually save them, but always choose on Nexus to download them with Vortex - not manually). Manually I save mods only if it is demanded by mod. I have also a pen drive with 64GB of memory (I know it's not a lot, but in case).
  9. I have duplicates of mods under: c:/Users/User (in my case krist)/AppData/Roaming/Vortex/downloads/skyrimse In this folder is every mod that I have. And it seems like duplicate, since Vortex copies mods to Skyrim data folder. So it's like mods are in Skyrim data folder and also duplicates in AppData folder. Beecouse it's like, when I (let's say for example) install mod that is 1GB it will take 3GB of memory on HDD. And I know that mods are zipped so 1GB mod should take not 3 GB but arround 1,5 GB of memory.
  10. So how can I save HDD space? Ok, I was thinking of buying a new HDD, since on this one I have only 256GB of space. But this will take a while till I buy a new HDD. But is there any way that I can save space with Vortex? On my laptop I have only 3 main things installed: Windows, one other game and Skyrim. And with all 3 installed (Skyrim without mods) I have about 150GB free space. But After installing mods I only got about 5-7GB free HDD space. So I know, that mods themself don't take so much space (maby half of it or less). And I know that Vortex is having duplicates of mods in USER folder (in APPDATA I think). So is it safe to delete files - mods in APPDATA folder? Becouse that takes so much space.
  11. Ok. I've been using Vortex for my Skyrim SE, and it's better than it was NMM. It took time to get use to it, but now is good. Only problem I have with Vortex, that installed mods takes a lot of HD space. And I was reading somewhere, that this is due Vortex creates duplicates of mods (hardlink). So today I was checking settings in Vortex and I see that there are two ways od deployment: hardlink or move deployment. So I never changed this setting and had always on hardlink. So now I'd like to know, if I choose MOVE deployment, will this save space on my HD? Becouse if I understand correctly MOVE deployment doesn't create duplicate of mod, but moves mod directly to Skyrim main folder (like manually installing mod). If it's so, so do I need to reinstall mods which were installed with hardlink deployment and I later changed this setting to mpve deployment? Becouse I really would like to save space on my HD. And installing mods with VORTEX took a looooot of space (after finishing installing mods, I only had bout 5GB free space on my HD).
  12. After a loooong time I decided to install Oblivion again. I have no trouble installing mods. But this one gives me a headache. In mod description, there is no description how to install this mod (mod is called Flan base textures: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/41604?tab=forum). And even installation directory is wierd. Is someone using this mod? Hov can I get it to work?
  13. Yesterday my Windows got updated. And tody when I started Skyrim I noticed strange sound problem. The sond is very loud, when someone is talking it's like I'm in a huge hall (echoes). When someone is talking just a meter os even less behind me, I can barely hear it (it's almost like NPC is not even talking). In short some sounds are too loud, some are too quiet. And I didn't have this problems before (just after yesterdays Windows update)k. Anyone else have this problem?
  14. I traced down the problem. In fact it was not problem with Trinity restored quest at all. But belive it or not, it was problem with every item in Calixto's house of curiosity in Windhelm. As soon as I picked any item from that place, i couldn't save my game. I traced what item is resopnsible, and found out, that every item from that place is bad. But if I use console to obtain items (spoon anf flute) thegame works normally. Never had this kind of problem before.
