  1. Okay, so a while back I had some mod that added a store in Freeside with two vendors: a weapon vendor, and a weapon mod vendor. The guy selling the guns had an ncr ranger helmet on and was standing behind bars, and the weapon mod vendor had a beard and was standing behind a counter. I had to reinstall new vegas so the mod is gone. I've been up day and night searching for this mod cus it adds the coolest freakin guns. Also it adds a gigantic armory to the lucky 38. If anybody knows what this mod is and can maybe send me the link, I will forever worship you.

Thank you so much! I just found it somewhere else.

  3. So, awhile back I had this mod that added a new store to Freeside with a bunch of guns and mods for those guns. I've been searching desperately for this mod. If this familiar to anyone PLEASE TELL ME!
  4. It really bothers me that, if my horse sees my while I'm in sneak mode, the eye is open and I'm detected. It really messes me up.

    So, my question/questions would be:

    1. Is there a mod that stops this? If not, could someone possibly make one (please and thank you)?

    2. Is there a console command I could use to rid of this problem?

  5. I don't know about that one, but some of those don't show in active effects, even when working.

Oh really? I was thinking that was a possibility. So it's probably working, just not showing up then? I wish Skyrim had a perks section that showed all perks like in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Thanks :)

  6. okay so on Skyrim, the perks that you get from quests (e.g. Kyne's Blessing) aren't showing up. I tried doing player.addperk and it says "perk added" but its still not there. This is the same for all other quest perks. I have no idea what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
  7. Try this:

    1. Uninstall skyrim

    3. Go to your local disk then: program files\steam\steamapps\common\

    4. Delete the skyrim folder (reinstalling will replace it)

    5. Reinstall Skyrim from Steam

    6. Re-download any mods you had

Make sure Skyrim downloads its latest patch before adding mods and skse and all that cus if it patches it while the mods are installed, it'll f*** the game up.

The only problem I had after this was that every time I started the launcher, I'd hit play then it would ask "Do you want to allow this program to make changes to your computer?" and I'd hit yes and it would load the launcher all over again. TESV.exe would load the launcher too. If this happens to you, right click TESV, go to properties, then the compatibility tab. Underneath where it says privileges, see if run in administrator is checked. If it is, uncheck it. If it's greyed out and you cant uncheck it, click on change settings for all users and uncheck it there. Hit apply, then okay, and then it should work.

  8. This has happened to me before. Did you recently download any mods? If so, there's a few things you can do:

    1. download boss and run it. It'll re-arrange your mods so they load correctly.

    2. get rid of the one/s you just got. Some mods screw the game up

    3. make sure all your mods are up to date. If they aren't, check to see if the author loaded any updates

When this happened to me, it was the mod Tytanis that was messin it up. Awesome mod but it's screwy. If you downloaded it, you're prolly gonna have to delete it.

If you didn't download any mods, there's only one thing I can think of.

Uninstall skyrim, then delete the skyrim folder in steam\steamapps\common. Then reinstall the game and the folder will be replaced. Then try to play again.

P.S. thank you for your help sbire :D it's nice when people care enough to try and help with forum questions rather than just reading the post and ignoring it.

  11. Okay, so every time I launch the SKSE, the script extender pops up, does nothing, and then just disappears. Nothing happens after that. The game just doesn't launch. I figured it was one of my mods maybe so I tried disabling them all and just launching Skyrim from the launcher, but the same thing happens. I hit play and then nothing happens. I uninstalled Skyrim and reinstalled it but it still won't launch. I went to Steam and went to Skyrim properties and validated caches and all that. Didn't work. I even deleted that registry.blob file to force update it but it didn't do anything (steam and skyrim already updated to the newest versions). Game still wouldn't launch. Anybody have any ideas as to what might be wrong?
