  1. ?tab=friends seems dead, I don't see it anymore...
  2. Ahhh ok... I see I'm still there LOL :P
  3. I've been away for a few months, and I came back, logged in, and I was like, where did my friends list go on my profile. Glad I'm not loosing my mind... LOL Oh well, I guess we have to add Followers now on the forum?
  4. Since posting this, I'm playing around with these settings now in DynDOLOD2. DynDOLOD — ImgBB (ibb.co) TexGen — ImgBB (ibb.co) xLODGen — ImgBB (ibb.co) - Not sure still about Occlusion settings...
  5. In the main window of DynDOLOD, is the High button/setting giving good results? Or has anyone really used DynDOLOD, that has played with a lot of settings, that could advise for the Advanced Settings, what has given good High/Performance, with really nice graphics? From some reading I've been doing, between the various advanced settings, some users are reporting not seeing a lot of change, just some small percentage/differences. Anyone know if it's good to use v3 over v2? Since 3 generates the billboards I was interested in trying it. The docs say that DynDOLOD DLL is for testing, so is PapyrusUtil still recommended? I added a screen shot of TexGen, the settings I used, I only added the Grass and I left the Direct/Ambient alone for it. For xLODGen, I have no idea what would be decent settings, if there is a consensus, on what most people prefer? For now, take a look at the screen shot, I just changed it to LOD 8 with baked and steepness. THANKS
  6. Does anyone have any particular preferences for gaming on with mods? I didn't know if maybe 1.5.97 is preferred if you're going to run mods on over 1.6.353.0? THANKS
  7. I'm running SkyrimSE that is what it shows me in Steam, and my SkyrimSE.exe is 1.6.353.0 Now everywhere I look SSE Fixes, SKSE, various mods, I can't use SE versions, which are listed as 1.5.97 Here's a perfect example of the well known SKSE. Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) (silverlock.org) - Current Anniversary Edition build 2.1.5 (game version 1.6.353) When I start Skyrim it says there's an Aniversary Edition, which clearly shows I don't have AE installed, and I uderstand in 2019 when I was playing SE, the EXE was 1.5.97 and I see it's now 1.6.353.0, but I'm still running SE, and I really don't get this, that's why I called it a foulup. It's really made it confusing getting back into the gaming modding, and trying to figure out, and make sure I'm running the correct versions. AND since AE is newer, we all know the DEVs are still testing AE mods, and I certainly don't want to be on those, because the SE ones are more mature and stable, but I'm finding, that I have to download and use AE versions. This has to be one of the craziest versioning schemes I've ever seen. Can someone please explain this? THANKS P.S. Have a look at my screen shot of the game menu, it menus the AE upgrade, and look at my steam screen shot, it clearly shows I'm using SE.
  8. I stepped away from Skyrim in 2019, and I started back last week, I forgot how bad ENB can be. I was getting 50-70fps drop with Rudy ENB, so that's was the major problem. BUT I set my CPU Affinity and the Skyrim Priority and even on low frames it's really smooth. So for anyone not getting good frames be sure you set your CPU Affinity and the Skyrim EXE Priority, it makes a big difference. There's a plugin; Skyrim Priority SE AE - skse plugin at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) Or you can do it manually; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/51216 boring3 posted a powershell solution, mine looks like this; [System.Diagnostics.Process]::Start("skse64_loader.exe").WaitForExit(); $p = [System.Diagnostics.Process]::GetProcessesByName("SkyrimSE")[0]; $p.PriorityClass = 0x80; $p.ProcessorAffinity = 0xF5; Now I just need to find a nice ENB not killing frames so bad...
  9. After posting this, I ran across these instructions, how to manually set Skyrim's Priority and the CPU Affinity. MO2 with CPU Priority and Affinity Setup at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) This really helps to make the game smoother, even on lower frames. Now, I still need to try and figure out if I can increase my FPS on my specs...
  10. Hello, I posted this same message at the SSE Display Tweaks, but I also wanted to post this here. My SkyrimSE.exe shows 1.6.353.0, I have the Address Library for SKSE Plugins, SKSE Current Anniversary Edition build 2.1.5 game version 1.6.353, and SSE Engine Fixes for 1.6.xxx. My specs; i7-6700k, 16gb ram, gtx 1060 6gb on a 24" 144hz 1ms @ 1920x1080p. I'm not sure if my specs for SE today, running a lot of mods, if these are now potato specs. I know it's older hardware, but I thought I could still get some decent frames, but I'm not. I'm only averaging 30-50fps and it's not smooth at times, stuttering too. I thought with my specs I could still average 90-100 fps. I tried using the SSE Display Tweaks mod, it doesn't change my frames at all, they are the same with it, or without it. I also used BethINI, but it didn't help either. These are the mods I'm running in MO2. 1-MO2 — ImgBB2-MO2 — ImgBB3-MO2 — ImgBB I've tried everything a person could in the Skyrim ini files, enb files, M02, my nvidia drivers, the SSE Display Tweaks, and nothing works. I just don't know if I can get some decent frames with my hardware specs? I don't know if there's anything of value in these links, especially when I thought that SSE Display Tweaks is the best thing to use. Free FPS at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) Skyrim Project Optimization SE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) Any help would be greatly appreciated, these low frames is really killing the experience and enjoyment, this really sucks... THANKS
  11. Hi, Everything I understand, but number 2 is not something I've considered before, looking to see the order it was placed in the Right pane, and then setting it at the same priority in the Left pane. BUT, even understanding and doing number 2, maybe the rest is all just a personal preference, but personal preferences aside, I simply want the best outcome between these mods. So as an example, even though Skyrim Realistic Over Haul and Noble are nice mods, they are older, so the looks some people might prefer, I'm also more concerned about issues bugs, we are all hoping would be corrected in newer mods. So that is why I now have texture mods from Skyrim 2020 Parallax by Pfuscher. So, looking back on this, personal preferences aside, what I should of made clear is if anyone knew anything about all these mods, and would of said, given various issues, bugs, etc., you will want to order the Left Pane in this particular order for better results. I'm not thinking about my own personal preferences, but if there's anything known as issues between all these mods, and therefore, a better Priority I should be placing on them, compared to what I have listed in the screen shots? THANKS
  12. Hello, I really hope some serious mod pros can help me out here, because I'm seriously getting lost with all the mods. It's my understanding with Mods that don't have an esp/esl, they are not ordered on the right side pane that you use LOOT to order the mods. But for mods that have loose files, the priority placement on the left is important for those mods, and if that is correct in my understanding, then I'm really struggling to determine which mods I should place in what priority on the left side pane. Here are 3 screen shots of all my mods in MO2, if any of the pros here, can really give me some serious help, in better sorting the left pane, I would greatly appreciate it! I understand a lot of this can just get down to personal preferences, but to be honest, I just want to best outcome/results I can achieve with these mods, and unfortunately, I thought at one time I knew, but now, I'm not so sure. With the mods in the order I have them on the left pane, when I play the game it looks great, but since I'm no pro with this, I'm assuming I can achieve even greater results. I've probably spent around 3 months and hundreds of hours to achieve what I've done, but at times, I seriously doubt my abilities, there is just so much going on with modding. And it's my understanding, I'm just trying to overwrite the best mods with the worst mods, and I'm not sure I'm giving the best mods the best priority on the left side... hmm THANKS, it's greatly appreciated! 1-MO2 — ImgBB (ibb.co) 2-MO2 — ImgBB (ibb.co) 3-MO2 — ImgBB (ibb.co)
  13. TidyUp seems to be more about the Inventory, I was more concerned about items getting knocked to the floors and laying around on them. Jaxonz didn't seem to be well supported in SE. Anyhow, as I mentioned, holding down 'Enter' will do the trick to allow the ability to pick up and place items, I should of realized that before making this post... LOL Thanks
  14. Are there any mods, so if you accidentally knock items off tables, kick items that then get thrown around the floor, or drop something, basically anything that ends up on the floor indoors where it shouldn't be, are there any MODs that the NPC will come along and clean it up? I've been accidentally knocking things around, and now noticing items like plates, goblets, even food laying on the floor inside various places, and the NPC just seem to not care, notice, or know how to deal with it. Looks really odd/stupid with things laying all over the place. THANKS P.S. I guess if there is nothing, I can always hold the enter key and move things around... LOL
  15. Hello, In the area where Kematu is located underground, outside I noticed these light colored purple looking trees scattered around in the distance. But when I get close to every one of them, they all disappear, so I don't know if this is a bug with any of the mods I am using, or they are some special magical trees, that are like this, or a bug in the game? Hmm I've have some screen shots, if anyone can tell me what is going on I'd greatly appreciate it... THANKS P.S. After posting this, I unchecked 'Simply Bigger Trees' in MO2 and problem solved, they were gone! Guess it's time for another tree mod...
  16. I have SRO as a base with Noble, hmm, I wonder if this is going to be to much to also add in to the mix... LOL THANKS
  17. Hello, With all the great looks I can get on the exterior with mods, I can't seem to find any single hd texture mod, or a combination of them, that will change all of the interiors of the map to also have a nice HD look without changing the Vanilla look, just nicer more enhanced HD realistic looks. For me the caves and interiors still look pretty crappy. SO, does anyone know if there's any one single overhaul mod that covers all the interiors, or combinations of them that will, again, the realistic HD look too? For now, all I have installed is 'Underground - a dungeon texture overhaul' THANKS
  18. Hello, I have the racemenu mod installed; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19080 I thought it use to be in LE, not sure in SE, or with this mod, that using the racemenu would reset stats... Can this racemenu mod be used at anytime in the game without effecting anything in a negative way, resetting levels, stats, saves, etc.? Thanks P.S. I'm not going to change the Race or Gender, I will only change the appearance.
  19. I thought DynDOLOD was about improving Distance, not quality, because if you look at the mod on nexusmods and those screen shots, you see the same bad looking models, just more of them in the distance is all. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59721 Anyhow, I forget in the HQ Tree Bark, there's a 'Lush' option which I am using, last I checked, the trees appear better, but if anyone has other ideas, please do share, or at least any tree mods that do look fantastic in the distance, please do tell. I've used several tree mods, and most appear not to look so good in the distance... Thanks
  20. Hello, One thing that really seems to stand out in this game, is the fact that the NPC and animals you fight, really act in very buggy manners... Many times I find NPC I fight, get stuck, and run in place, or stand in a specific area, like I'm on top of rocks and they just stand in front and below me and never move, and animals doing the same. This really takes away from trying to have a more realistic feel to the game, I constantly run into this and it makes the game play less enjoyable, I really can't believe how buggy this game is. Are there any mods out there that fix these bugs, make the NPC and animals move and work better on the map? THANKS P.S. After making this post, I have found one mod - Immersive Movement; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15649 Well this talks about 'Realism', but not sure it addresses the issues of the buggy AI in this game. I'll keep looking but if anyone has any ideas, or if there's a mod that really stands out as the best for this, please let me know...
  21. Hello, Are there any mods out there that remove all the Load Screens when entering a new area, that Load Screens typically load in? Like going into a cave, dungeon, door, going into a new area you discovered, that works in this way etc... I'm sure/hoping everyone knows what I mean? Open Cities is the only such mod that is designed for this that I'm aware of, but it only covers the five major cities, not the entire map. THANKS
  22. Sorry I'm not messing with Rudy. I'm personally messing with firemanaf's they seem really nice and easy to work with.... Anyhow... SkyrimSE Re-Engaged ENB - Is on the brighter fantasy side https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1089 Natural View Tamriel (NVT) ENB - More realistic drab effect, suppose to be more the idea of what people think Skyrim looks like https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11203 Intrigued ENB https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18149 P.S. I just started using Rudy, and for me it personally just seems to work out the box with nice photo realism, without having to mess around.
