So I know someone is going to tell me that it's because I don't have enough VRam, but that doesn't make sense. Skyrim was working totally fine and I decided to add one mod to it. Weightless food. I quit the game and at this point got a new mouse because the new one was better. This took about maybe a half hour. I enabled weightless food and used LOOT to sort load order, got back to the game and the body was completely black. Went back, disabled weightless food, reloaded. Still black. Redid LOOT, still black. Put old mouse in, no longer black. Reloaded weightless food, I'm black again. Redid LOOT, still black. Put old mouse in, black still. Restarted Skyrim several times and remained black. Put my old mouse back in AGAIN. No longer black. Put new mouse back in while playing. Why is this happening? CBBE says that you get the black body bug from playing too long and running out of VRAM but restarting the game fixes this. However, it was happening upon start, not restart, not to mention I have played far longer than this before without this problem. I cannot imagine why weightless food would make my body completely black even after loading and reloading and reloading after disabling it. And yes, I loaded old saves too. Still black. As an update, I opened the game and loaded the slot where i made the char and stood next to Lyida who is NOT what I want.

I don't want to make a new NPC. I just want to make Lydia a completely new person so she can be my lesbian lover. I made the perfect look using showracemenu and used Extended Character Creation to export it but ..I think part of it may have been done with some other mods but I'm not sure what they are and the head doesn't look right I put it in to have a look at it anyway and it does not look right at all So is there a better way to easily get from point A to point B and have my head look how I want it, instead of some amalgamation of issues and looking like a damn hobgoblin?

I know console commands can be potentially dangerous and should be used sparingly (though I wholeheartedly cheat with lockpicks) But I'm wondering about unique items like daedric artifacts. I have Legacy of the Dragonborn and I'd like to complete as much as I can but it always wants to take my Daedric artifacts that I use and therefor leaves the museum incomplete when I take them back and I can't replicate all of them so like is it dangerous for me to replicate the items to put them back so I can continue to use them and also fuel the museum? I only plan to add them after initially obtaining the item and completing the main quests and not before.

Like in Creation Kit turned an NPC like a Greybeard into a chicken or something What would happen? Would it break the game? Because it sounds potentially hilarious.

I'll be minding my own business with my skyrim char when suddenly he just starts running forward even when I've stopped pressing the keys. This is not the C key. This is not sticky keys (it's turned off) he just suddenly starts running I can keep him more or less in place by holding down all the WASD keys and mashing them and hten he will stop eventualy but I want to know why this is happening apparently a friend is also having the issue...

I'm pretty sure this is from a mod but I can't figure out which one. I have Legacy of the Dragonborn and Deadly Dragons together. For some reason I heard the former spawns dragons in Solitude but people tried to disprove that. However this is not right. I have cities set as safe zones and yet dragons are still in Solitude. I'm not talking just the occasional one or two. I have gotten five hits in an hour in Solitude. There are dragon carcasses everywhere. It isn't jsut one either, usually it's two, and I don't know why. I'm not sure what I've done wrong.. also I have everything sorted with LOOT. those aren't my only mods but I can't even begin to list them all right now... I'll try to help if I can if you ask me what kind of mods I have. edit: It's gotten worse. It's not just solitude now. Six dragons spawned in the rat way. IN THE RAT WAY. Someone please explain this to me? I want to play my game but I can't play it with 6000 dragons attacking me. Video for reference

This is a bit weird and I've googled it looking for answers but the problems everyone else is having is not like mine. I run Skyrim through SKSE. The temps are always looking okay when I play it, around 60c at the highest. Definitely doesn't seem like an overheating issue. It will run fine and suddenly out of nowhere, usually with reloads or fast travels it freezes up and I have to alt tab out of it. I can't do anything where the skyrim window was. My mouse disappears in that area. I can pull up ctrl alt delete but am unable to actually click the skyrim task (which is listed as 'not responding') so it kind of f*#@s me over unless I alt tab to task manager, scroll down with my keyboard and hit 'delete' to end it. This is a very recent thing; recent as in today. The last mod I installed was Deadly Dragons Armory so idk if that's what would be causing it but it doesn't seem like it I noticed all of the sudden after I left Jorrvaskr that Skyrim was legitimately black and white. I thought it was because it was so late but it actually void of all color. Sleeping until daylight brought Whiterun back to color but when I came back again at night from doing that first main companion quest it got weird again I entered Whiterun at 9pm and it was full color but very quickly faded to black and white. I left Whiterun and reintered it and the color came back... but why is this happening? I'd rather not have to leave and reinter whiterun multiple times to get it to work. Going inside of houses does not fix it It is still black and white when you come out you have to actually leave the city. So first off, here's when I came back to Whiterun to do the Companion thingy. I'm looking for something that doesn't stop you from getting perks at so and so level like I want to be able to level up my smithing and stuff but I don't want to just focus on that there's other perks I want.. and like maybe something that gives you two or three perks instead of just one per level? i'm not entirely sure what I'm asking but I just don't want to spend all my perks on smithing..

I am creating a completely new face morph for Wynne, but I don't exactly know how to name it so that it works. I know that I put it in the packages/overide folder but I do not know what to name it so that it replaces Wynne's face. I save it as an MOR right? Also, I kind of want to edit Leilana's facial texture and give her a little bit of makeup... So, can someone help me?

I'm thinking of downloading some custom dungeons http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58672/? is one of them I have Tropical Skyrim and so I wonder if it would mess something up? What I'm saying is can I still download custom dungeons for vanilla climate skyrim and play them or am I gonna ruin everything? Would it just have the tropical skyrim textures instead of vanilla textures?

I couldn't really add too much info to the topic so I'm sorry but I don't know if these are a thing, but they should be, so they probably are. Is there a mod that lets me smelt weapons back down to their ingots? Like instead of having to find hundreds of iron ores I can collect iron swords and smelt them down into iron ingots? Or like with ebony weapons: ebony ingots. Also is there a map mod that puts all the locations of ores...? If you've found them maybe? I find ore veins then lose them, and can't ever find them... Specifically I always lose the stupid corundum ore vein near Lakeview Manor, but I don't know if it would be able to help me with that. Still, a generalized location of where ore I've found might be located would help. I looked for some of these and I couldn't find any but maybe I'm bad at searching?

I made a mistake on my NPC I edited. For some reason despite the fact that it shows up as it's been changed in creation kit it refuses to show the changes in the game. I redid the NPC. No difference... I went to a different area completely, saved, disabled the mod, ran game, saved, reloaded, went to where the NPC was, and STILL no difference. I even loaded all the way before when I met him and he is STILL the same and I don't know why. I am about to make a completely new ESP and I just don't understand why its being so difficult. All I want to do is change the friggin facial hair.

I put the file where I was told to put it, or at least something like that. I put it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\packages\core\override I opened tool set because I wanted to edit my char's eyebrows again. I've been messing with him in Toolset because I couldn't get what I wanted in character creator. But there's no instructions on how to use this because everybody but me seems to know how and I've done countless googles and it just leads me nowhere The video posted there only shows work in CC so... It SAYS it works for toolset so why can't I figure out how to get it to work?

I know if this a PC forum but I don't know where else would be able to ask other than a Skyrim forum. My friend played Skyrim on my PS3 until Christmas where she got hers. It's my Skyrim game. She was playing it. She played for like hours and hours and she's on level 25 and she got her PS3 today, and we copied the save file from MY PS3 to HERS and I was completely unaware, that you could not transfer them. is there any way to get around this? She is considering restarting but now she's worried that when she gets her Skyrim game (legendary edition) but she's worried that if she restarts, she won't be able to use her save because different disk. So uh, what do?

This is not the case. That's Schlongs of Skyrim and I chose the normal version. And as I said, the long haired one is less buff than the short haired one too? so it seems like the problem lies elsewhere.

heyy still havin problems with these bodies...

I altered two of the followers from Skyrim vanilla and their bodies are out of control. They're so buff. Idk what to do. It seems the long haired one is less buff than the short haired one on the end. My PC is in the middle. His body has been altered with Extended CHaracter Creator ingame or something along those lines. The long haired one is a revamp renamed Brenor, and the one on the end with the short hair is Lydia on that note is there any way i can change her voice without having to do voice acting? i see an option i think but what happens when i try to talk to her? i have attatched an image they are naked (censored) because...well, to show body. Apparently though the image is too large and right now i can't resize it so here is a link. edit I mean in CK. I also have very limited ability so if it's something difficult I need some explenation...

I'm looking for some angel/demon mods. Not as races but as enemies. I want to fight angels and demons. I can't seem to find a mod for it though? I have Skyrim Monster Mod btw, and IDK if there are any included in there... Anything will do. Not just pretty friendly looking cute angels but lore-based scary ass seraphs and etc. It'd go well with my game right now.
