I almost got this. I noticed that in my windows for selected materials, I don't have any. How do I get the stone material as a selectable option? All my material options are currently blank. -

Skyrim. What am I supposed to use as a template? THat might be the problem I am running into. I trued using a different template, but the resulting file had no collision data. I can't use the one that it says in teh tutorial because it's part of what causes the crash. I am Using Windows 7 64 bit? Do I have to use my Windows XP system in order for this thing to work. Perhpas the programmers of this utility did not anticipate compatibility with 64 bit operating systems. -

I'm looking for someone to add some collision geometry to a couple of wall and doorframe .nifs, as I am unable to do it myself at this time, lacking 3DsMax. If you are expierienced with collision geometry, and have some spare time, please reply to this by PMing me, I may check back at this thread, but I will mostly be inside Creation kit. :P Hope to hear from someone, Thank-you in advance.

I also use the "Paarthurnax Fix", so I get the best of both worlds. I get Arngier's word quests AND Esbern Dragon Quests FTW.

Try loading a save game from BEFORE you visited Riften for the first time? Maybe once spawned with a particular outfit Aela stays in that outfit? How did you go about changing her default armor? -
Did you download the correct version of SKSE? There's an updated version made for the 1.5.26.0 patch of Skyrim.

Nevermind i figured it out I think the 1.5.26.0 Patch release yesterday fixed a lot of these issues. So maybe the problem dissappeared by itself.

Never heard of that. Just run Skyrim from Steam and you'll be fine.

How many programs are you running in the background? Do you use any over zealous Anti Virus programs such as full versions of Norton or McAfee? Do you have anything downloading in the background?

Are you doing this in a custom playerhouse? Or altering some vanilla cell? If it's open world, like one of the town worlds or Tamriel world, don't touch. There's a bug that will mess things up. -
If I were you Id'e get rid of it, it's got lot's of bugs and is far from finished, it hs no navmesh or animations for npc's and followers, and the idea of linking all player homes is a little to non immersion for me. oh, and the NPC's should be saved to face gen data to a esm so there is no npc face discoloration . Revert to an older save-game and all of your stuff might still be there. I'm thinking maybe they forget to set the cell to being a noreset zone. They may have used containers that didn't say "norespawn" on their name tags as well. Those are a couple of possibilities how your items can dissappear. ALSO: Did you read the instructions on his DL page? Some upgrades require that you remove all of your items first.

Use the CK instead. It's better for this kind of thing. Open up all the esps at once, make one of them the active file. Then save. Everything should have saved onto the file that you marked as active. Thanks for the tip, is it only advised to do this for merging NPC esp? Will this work for multiple armors as well without conflicting Form IDs? As far as I know this is useable for combining .esps. i don't know about custom armors though, I don't touch that stuff. It's a nightmare waiting to happen. :/

Check the factions that your NPCs are flagged to. They'll only attack you if you are in a faction different from theirs.

Make sure you change the scripts' references to your residence, otherwise those Dragonsreach scripts will take your NPCs to Dragonsreach for bed every night! :P Man, that Yarl sure does command a lot of loyalty... lol

Why does my new follower not attack anything?

Did you put him in the correct factions? (You need him to be in -1 CurrentFollowerfaction and 0 PotentialFollowerFaction) What did you set your Combat Override to? Did you assign him a combat style? Did you give him weapons in his inventory that match his combat style? Also might be a good idea to set him to unaggressive if you don't want him attacking friendly NPCs by accident :P -
Which version of audacity are you using? and what version of windows are you using? If you're using a 64-bit version of windows, I recommend you use the Audacity BETA. Don't convert FROM .mp3 to .wav. You get the best sound quality if you use an uncompressed format from the beggining. The only point where you should be compressing sound files is when you actually to integrate them into your mod. During the recording and production stages (for sound I mean), always stick with .wav. What settings are you exporting your .wav files to?
