1050 ti is better than 1060 3gb?

I have enough money to upgrade my graphics cards and I am between the EVGA GTx 1060 3GB or the 1050 ti 4GB, I would like to be able to run skyrim with an enb with 2k textures and grass mods no 4k textures or anything super fancy, I have a Intel Xeon W3530 which is comparable to an i7 930 so nothing good but I am confident that both cards will work in my machine. But right now I only have a NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800 with only half a gig of ram.

When I try to run the patcher nothing happens

I installed Java, and went to the file and tried to run it and it said it was missing ASIS dependency, I realized I needed to run it through MO since I am using it so I tried to but something is still missing I'm pretty sure the executable is wrong somehow, right now it is set up like this Binary-C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_121\bin\java.exe Start in-m Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SkyProc Patchers\ASIS Arguments-nothing, I'm not sure what this does though I wouldn't be surprised if it is what's wrong with the setup

I don't know how to run the ASIS skyproc which is really annoying cause the mod sounds like a must, I looked for guides on the internet but couldn't find anything so here I am. Any help is hugely appriceated

I think it just happens at what seems like random, usually it crashes then I quickload and the problem is over but it pops up again some time later
