  1. Still looking for fix to above problem... Does anyone know how to use console and force a NPC to be a follower without having to talk to them at all? If I could do this then when I tell her its time to part ways it would actually dismiss her instead of just saying it does. 2nd idea ... perhaps. If I kill the follower and instead of resurrecting her just let things play out for x number of days [not sure if its 3 or 30 on a death] is there any possibility that this might fix her when I do a placeatme. Note as mentioned above if I do it immediately she comes back with follower dialog.
  2. Ram on your actual computer or on the graphics card ? I have shared graphic memory with ram 2 gigs worth.
  3. I had loss of frame rate in several area's ... I increased my ram from 6 gigs to 16 and don't have the problem any longer. Note after running the game with 16 gigs of ram and with 150 or so mods installed I see times I use a bit over 9 gigs of memory. Hope this helps.
  4. Hello all, 1st I run over 150 mods. My problem is Sapphire and not being able to dismiss her as follower. Well it says she is dismissed however when I talk to her she has normal follower wording as if she is currently a follower. If I do a show playerfollowercount the value is 0. Doing a kill in console and resurrect does not help. Recycleactor does not help either. She is steward of Windstad and due to the fact that she thinks she is still my follower cannot get commands to improve the property in any way. If I just use console and create a duplicate regardless if she is alive or dead she respawns like she is follower. Only thing different is it once again gives me option to ask her to be steward again. I have disabled all mods that could in my humble opinion affect her as my multi follower mod, followers can relax, my home is your home, etc. With all the above mods disabled it does say I have dismissed her when I click its time to part ways and says she has left my service. However I still have the same commands as if she was follower... wait here, show me your inventory, it's time to part ways etc. Is there a .pex file that stores this info that I can just delete? I have seen mod for ATF that addresses this same issue that deletes some pex files to correct the problem. Only thing is I don't have any of the tif_ files that it removes. Thanks in advance for any hints or suggestions on how to fix this problem.,

There's no right-or-wrong answer to this of course; I'm just wondering how many Ceri users would care one way or the other on this question, and I do recognize that changing would impact many users (e.g., I know many of you use CH with Ceri). Mujuro My opinion is its up to U... if U change we will adapt. Also in voting currently. I would suggest U make the sneak thing a option for users to use it or not. I do this on all my followers and have also added it to Ceri. In CK add spell shadow warrior. Edit spell and make it a "Ability" then give it condition "IsSneaking" DONE! Now once U save of course and go into game if player sneaks Ceri casts and maintains the spell shadow warrior until detected by enemy or player quits sneaking,.
  6. Thanks for the lead... Nice the Author says basically U can pick apart his mod with his permission. So I spent most of yesterday working on it. Pretty complex, but have come along way. But still cannot summons it. What I do see if I go to console commands and do Help HorseName I now see a new listing I have never seen before ... its a MGEF with horses name and ID, I am guessing that is magic effect. But cannot figure out how to call it still... :( What I see when doing console for horse name is the MGEF, book, spell and NPC_ Awful complex for what can be done in game with console as a simple player.placeatme One other thing when I do a help horses name it shows the global variant... If I load his mod and do help nightmare it does not show it. What I have found so far is the horse file, A Global variant, The Magic Effect file and script and the spell. I don't see a spell book however. Back to working on it and thanks for the lead!
  7. I have done a lot of reading on this and it seems that the spell itself cannot do it... what I want done needs to be in magic effects as a script. I also found a link that tells how but for some reason I cannot put 2 and 2 together ... http://www.creationkit.com/PlaceActorAtMe_-_ObjectReference this one is for a leveled actor http://www.creationkit.com/PlaceLeveledActorAtMe as a Papyrus Version, which if one just removes the "Leveled" reads the same. any help on how EXACTLY to fill out the script when adding a new one? Once again thanks in advance for any help!
  8. if U are just trying to find fix to were U can play the game... try to open console and resurrect the horse. then hopefully U can get off of it.
  9. Hello all, What I have done so far is create a new unique horse in game. I have placed it in game. I have created a new spell to summons it. Problem is when it is summoned it is not ride-able. in console its easy enough just do help horse name then do a player.placeatme with proper ID. So my question is how do I make a spell to do this? Once again thanks in advance for any help.
  10. Hello and thanks for considering this request. I am not 100% sure that a script is required to do what I am after but from reading and playing around in the creation kit I think it is. What I have done is create a new Actor in game. I have created a horse for her and made it so the horse can be summoned. So the actor and the horse are unique in game. This way I think keeping track of her horse and because both are unique this will hopefully eliminate a issue or 2. I found a player ride horse script in game so I assume this would be based off of it but instead of player ride horse it would be Actor Ride Horse (by name of horse so she will only ride this given horse and NO one else can). End result that I am looking for is ... I mount my horse my new NPC [actor] summons her horse and mounts it, then follows me as normal, when I dismount she does the same. If U need the actors name is Annabell and the horses name is ChaposMoonlight Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!
  11. Hello all :) I am new to modding and have created a new follower ... What I would like to do is make her ride a horse when we travel instead of her running behind me. I know there is mod to do this out there someplace. Would rather make it one of her natural abilities if possible and not be dependent on another mod. I have seen in the AI Packages that mq306GreyBeardstoPlayer that although set false there is option to ride horse if possible. Changing that to true and moving around stables she will not mount a horse... But it sure indicates that it is possible for a npc to ride a horse... I know if I took a current ingame horse and saved it to a new ID name it would create a new horse in game but how do I link it to her so she will auto mount when I do and make her horse follow if say we are in city and move to a area were horses can spawn? ie make the horse act just like horses do for players. What is the cell name outside of High Hrothgar plan to place the horse there, approx where U come in if fast traveling on a horse.... Thanks for any help in advance!
  12. Ok can almost answer my own question. I post this in hopes of some clarification and to possibly help others. I found that one does what I did and alters a spell it GLOBAL affects it even if not intended. I had 2 followers with shadow warrior invisibility defined to work when sneaking... They worked fine. I added the ability to a 3 rd follower and did not define it, just left it in natural form. I went back into game and hit the sneak button and the 2 followers did not go invs. Once I defined the 3rd character by adding the sneak they all went invs with the cloud of black smoke. So this lead me to more experimentation. I changed one of the followers and took away the shadow warrior invs and gave her plain invisibility, re defined as a ability and had NO relation to any perks and did not require hands. IE NONE NONE in that area. She works just fine. Figured ok I cannot figure this out so I will just cast invisibility on myself. DUH am lvl 80 and never bought the spell. So I go buy the spell read it and look in magic inventory and its not there. NO place at all... So I hit my sneak button and cast invs spell on myself. SHOCKED...more testing [have all sneak perks] I go into combat and start seeing black cloud around me... guessing here shadow warrior invs over wrote the plain invs. So at this point all works just how i want it for ME! the question is as I am very new to the creation kit is how do I clean it up where it would work for anyone else? Is it as simple as changing the ID from Invisibility to Invisibilty2 and doing the same for the name? Thus it would only affect follower. Then for dragonborn to get it I would have to make it a new spell? Thanks once again for any help in advance.
  13. Hello All, I have done a remake of Jordis for personal use with the creation kit. I thought it would be cool if when I went into sneak that she would cast either invisibility or shadow warrior invisibility. Ok I did that simple enough. However when playing around trying to figure things out she was casting shadow warrior invisibility on both herself and on me. I know for sure to stop her from casting on me I un checked PC Start Spell. After playing around some I thought now that was very cool her casting shadow warrior on me and tried to get her to do it again and I cannot. I have changed the spell to a ability and none none for spell perk and casting with hands... PC Start Spell is checked. Of course under the spell effects I created new area that she is to use ability when sneaking. I am at a loss of how to make her do this again... What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any Hints or Suggestions.
