Is there any way to use existing animations, perhaps the animation for shoveling ore? Of the top of my head, that's probably the closest vanilla animation in game to thrusting a spear, at least until someone makes a new one. Anyone want to try this out? Nah, closest you can get with vanilla animations is to replace the righthandattack_intro and righthandattack with the staff_charge and staff_cast animations, respectively. It looks decent, but your legs dont move while running, you just sort of glide over the ground

Nice models ! I know a lot of people have posted pictures of ones they'd like you to work on, I had a quick look over them and they seem to be filled with exactly what you don't want...overly spikey and fantasy stuff. A good piece would be a cavalry hammer, no pic neccesary since it's basically just a scaled down version of the vanilla 2 handed steel warhammer. A two handed maul would be awesome though, as well as a wooden mallet (of the type English archers were equipped with during the Battle of Agincourt). I look forward to the release :D

Well, you'd have to change the animation of drawing the arrow from the standard one to the ihm_equip animation, but beyond that it would just be linking the quiver to the left hip instead of the back right.

Best way to adjust heights of all female characters in CK?

Yupyup, under races just edit the playable races so that the female sexes are shorter. Very simple. -
For the object you want to load at a distance, right click it and go to Generate LOD and select 'Generate LOD this cell' and 'Generate LOD this quad' Should work. Should.

Open up the one that says Skyrim and follow the instructions on what to add. That's the .ini file :P

Looks like the floor has been moved by accident, just select it and move it back over. What's the stuff under it? It's kinda hard to tell what's going on from your picture. -

Weird. If you want I could take a look at it? Just pm me a link to mediafire with the esp, would also help to see if it might be some sort of conflict with another mod you have. Which door is having the problem? The front of it or the door to the back dock? Oh, and if it's a navmesh error, you could try backing up your file and then using the CK to auto generate a navmesh for the basement. It'll be a crappy navmesh since the tools is terrible, but might help trying to find out what the problem is. -

Did you set the door to teleport you to the correct area? Right click->under Object Data (I think), there's a box you tick to teleport, choose cell, then choose door. -
There are two Skyrim.ini files, in your main Skyrim directory and in C:/My Documents/My Games/Skyrim folder

You can use resetinterior "locationid" without the quotation marks. Use cell ID. If you just visited the cell, you need to follow that command with 'pcb' (purge cell buffer, aka the cached version of recent cells). Amusingly enough using pcb can actually increase your FPS since there's less crap allocated into memory.

As for facial textures, if you want the one that Dimon uses, it is under the 'Optional Files' on the UNP Body page ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6709 ), you just need to scroll down a bit. It's called DIMFace2 For manual installation it is really simple, if you unpack the file and see a folder named 'Data', all you need to do is drag that folder into your Skyrim directory (the same one will have a folder named 'Data'), and when prompted click yes to overwrite any files that it asks. Hope this helps :)

It locks in the cell when you first visit it, then it will reset on the normal timer (30 in-game days). Your best option is to load a save from before you entered the cell, then go inside and see if they're still there.

Pretty easy if you're going with the Riften Blacksmith interior, load up the CK and go to the Static->Architecture->Riften tab. Then just locate the RTBlacksmithHouse and plop it down where you want your home to be placed (the model is a full house model, so it has walls, windows, roof, etc). Of course you could use whatever exterior model you wanted, even build one from scratch if you want to. Could have the exterior look like the college of winterhold and the interior be a one room decrepit shack, lol.

Can't you just just RMB with the landscape texture selected to-repaint the ground? Under the landscape editing tab in the CK.

So I modified an Imperial Medium helm to have the plumed crest of the full face helmet and a mask, but whenever I load it up in game the crest part doesn't show up at all. Works fine though, no CTD or anything, it just appears as if the mesh isn't there at all. Even more annoying, it now shows the character's hair through the helmet, which it doesn't normally with the imperial medium helmet: In-game shot: http://i.imgur.com/j4URe.png This is what the .nif looks like: http://i.imgur.com/jDNrd.png Can anyone spot something I've done wrong here?

There's one sitting on a throne in Bleak Falls Barrows near the word wall, maybe try viewing that cell and seeing how it's set up?

I voted for UNP, but both have great features. The HD normal maps and more realistic figure of UNP is gorgeous, but CBBE has more armour available as well as the super nifty bodyslider program. In the end I've ended up using UNP skinny though.
