  1. Hrm. I seem to have a slightly different problem. I took an extended break from playing Skyrim for perhaps two months or so....no adding mods or anything. Didn't even fire the game up during my break. Now, however, I CTD immediately after the Bethesda logo screen. Can't be a mod conflict, as it worked fine before my break. Any suggestions? Edit: I also have NO additional content. No Dawnguard, no Dragonborn, No house builder. Just Skyrim.
  2. It's probably been asked already...but over two hundred pages to sift through...I figured I'd just ask here. ^_^ Is there an ENB mod that does NOT make interior or exterior nights/dark look...well...like a black screen? Something that doesn't touch lighting at all.
  3. Odd. I once more deleted all instances of Skyrim from my computer, then reinstalled through Steam and bam. It starts. I have -no- idea what was wrong, or what got fixed.
  4. So, last week the game launched just fine with all my mods. Today, it won't get past the start screen. And if the game needs to detect video settings, it crashes from that. I have completely deleted the game from my hard drive and reinstalled through Steam. I have disabled and removed -all- mods. I have updated graphics drivers. I have updated DirectX. I have updated Microsoft Framework. I have verified game files through Steam not once, but several times. Most times, there's a 0mb download history when I do that. Twice, there's been a 50 mb download history, but nothing new that I can see. I have disabled Bethesda's high texture pack and even deleted the files. Nothing works. I launch game from Steam or directly with Skyrim.ini and the launcher appears, I click start game, brief flash of game trying to start but not even logo screen, then CTD.
