I use Mod Organizer, I don't know how vortex works. But surely there should be a list for the esms/esps somewhere. Find them and uncheck them. Be sure they are deactivated for good, because this is the reason your Skyrim wont work

I think i figured it out, I wish I had the DLC's but that cant happen, Thanks a bunch

No problem. Enjoy your travel

  2. Hello everyone! How your holidays are going?

I was planning to buy (finally) Ark survival evolved for my pc. But before I buy it, I need some advice from someone who is used to this game and its optimization.

I will put my specs below. I'm asking because I have also a ps4, so I want to know if with my specs it worth to buy it for pc, or if it's better I buy it for ps4 for now (I really wish I could play it with my pc of course)

    windows 10

    Intel Core i7-6700

    gtx 950 2 gb <--- (my concern)

    RAM 16 gb

(if you need more info, please let me know)

I want to play it with my pc, and specifically I really, really wish I could play it with mouse and keyboard, but if I have to set everything at low, I will buy it for ps4 until I can upgrade my pc.

Thank you in advance, have a good day!

  3. Actually, it takes 3 minutes, and it's really simple.

Run the meshes with nif optimizer (a tool you find in the mods section of SSE).

Save the esp. in Creation Kit.

(as the mod have loose files, you don't even need to extract from the bsa. And this makes the process even simpler)

  4. I swear I can't wait for Fallout 76 to be released, so maybe ( I said maybe ) beth will slowly focus on squeezing money out from it and MAYBE they will leave Fallout 4 alone.

To answer about your problem: What I do is setting Steam offline and turning off automatic update for FO4. Every time I need steam online for buying something and whatnot I just don't run FO4 in the while. ( I even start my game through f4se from Mod Organizer, but you can be safe with whatever mod manager you use as long as you turn off the update and turn steam in offline mode )

I let FO4 install its update only when f4se and all mods that need to be updated for the new version has been released. ( this is because I want to be always up to date )

Bothering doing what HadToRegister is suggesting in my opinion is just if you don't have on your plan to update fo4 for a long time, but it's still another valid alternative.

  5. This is Bruma patch for Dragonborn

Try to lower it just after " Falskaar esm "

Edit: Anyway, you should provide more information if you are searching for help. I asked you how the patch for bruma is marked and you haven't aswered the question.

And you could say when ctd starrted ( not everyone need a guide to modding, so I don't even know how TUCOGUIDE 3.1 is or the mods it suggest ) What mods have you installed lately. Etc. If you have sorted your load order manually or you used LOOT or whatnot.

You know... help us to help you.

  6. You could try to deactivate temporarily all mods that have dependences with AWKCR and AE, just to be sure. If then it don't CTD try to reactivate them one at time.

If it still CTD, at least we can be sure it have notting to do with version mismatch with AWKCE and AE and we can look at other options :)

  7. It happen suddenly without installing or update any mod from awhile? Or can you remember the last time you have scrapped Metal armor without problems?

Sorry I'm trying to understand so can come up an idea to try to fix the problem. I keep checking you load order, and as I can see, I don't see any problem with it ( even if I must say, I don't use some of them ) in my opinion, it could be a version mismatch problem.

Don't fix something if it's not broken, the old one looked and worked just fine

BuzzOrHowl wrote: I find the new site much clearer and easier to navigate. The old page was a constant thorn in my side, illogical organization, awkward paging through images. I really can't imagine how you could have preferred it. I'll be using nexus a lot more and getting back into modding now that the site isn't saddled with such a poor UI.

I am leery of any new software change in the digital age because the changes usually only help the bean counters inject more commercialism (or collect more personal data). RIP old Nexusmods. You were once a pure, beautiful place for enthusiasts and artists to share their talents with a loving community that was uncorrupted by the evil smell of money.
moose109 wrote: Agree 100%. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Having a slow and limited internet connection and the forced gallery of images make browsing the nexus a chore and not something I'll be doing nearly as often as I did.

No separate new files and tracked files a huge gallery of images, mostly skimpy in nature, being forced to load - and with no way to limit or turn them off(I mean, come on, who comes to the nexus to look at images).

The news tab is now a permanent feature, despite hardly ever being updated. And no quickely checking if any tracked files have been updated.

Another thing, being on a slower connection page tend to fail to load if they have a lot of images on them, and now not having a dedicated login page, I've only just managed to login to the nexus thanks to the ton of images loaded.

They aren't trying to fix anything here, they are tying to improve it. Something doesn't have to be broken in order to be improved. The games we mod aren't necessarily broken, yet we improve them with mods. Should we just stop making mods that are things other than bug fixes? If we never tried to improve upon things unless they were broken in some way we would never see anything progress.

The current website layout feels very out-dated and doesn't utilize page space efficiently. The new website layout has some things that could be improved, but for the most part it is much better than the current design.

"Don't fix something that isn't broken."

If everybody reasoned like you, we'd have a stone and a chisel in front of us, not a computer.

Is not a fix, but another step forward
  9. Hello. Honestly is my first time I'm asking for help here because I've always tried to figure out my problems with mods creation on my own, so sorry if I have posted it in the wrong section etc.

I will try to explain it how I can ( obviously how you can see English is not my language. )

I am in the middle of a mod creation, and is about a total Footstep Redone from scratch.

In addition to replacing all kinds of footsteps (every kind, in every situation) my problem begin when suddenly cames a sadistic idea on my head: to add in each situations ( walk on grass/ run on glass/ walk on MetalA etc. ) a track that plays clanking / noises "from" the armor / outfit. In short, a loop track that play as long as the player walk/etc. My problem is when, after 3284689132 attempts, I still cannot create the reference in ck so that it is active at the same time with the "Vanilla" footstep references. I was able to actually listen those tracks on the game but it was all a mess.

My question is. Is actually something I can do? Can I add an additional reference that play on a loop close to the footstep as long as the player walk etc?

    Thank you in advance ^^

  10.

You guys are getting too pathetic over this. They go radio silent for a few weeks and you immediately act like the world is ending.

SE is perfectly fine to play without SKSE64 right now.

Many popular mods have done workarounds for the lack of SKSE64.

Resorting to posting the names and other personal information is totally uncalled for.

Many popular mod, uh? Actually they are weeping about HDT boobs and adult stuff that can't be ported without SKSE, some ppl can't play skyrim without porn in it

    Hello.

Actually I want HDT for hair and capes. AND then for boobs. Flower Girls SE is a must if you want a immersive sex mod, and I don't need SKSE for that or any other sex mod. Not all of us want skse for porn stuff. There aro so many awesome mod that sadly require skse. Just saying.

    Have a good day.

  11. Hello bigCman!

I just wanted to say...thank you! Thank you with all my heart! Especially for the FF Lover's embrace! It's people like you that make this place a unique place where all people can be what they are.

You let us choose. It seems simple, but it is not. This is so important.

    Keep up the great work!
