[NMM wont setup]

I am having this same problem.

NMM finds Skyrim...not Skyrim SE -- NOTE: I DO NOT have Skyrim but SkyrimSE.

 

NMM is "finding" Skyrim in the Skyrim SE folder. Even when I point SKyrimSE to the proper folder (per the ... as described above), I get the message - path does not contain game EXE

 

Suggestions would be welcomed.

I too have Windows 10 installed (duh - I should've mentioned that in the first post).

 

And, don't get me wrong, SSE worked great on my system. I would just like to 'tweak' the game a bit with some of the amazing mods out there.

Greetings. I am new to Skyrim and very new to modding.

 

My problem/question -- when the Nexus Mod Manager scans my system, it only finds Skyrim and not Skyrim Special Edition. Considering I only have SSE, this is odd. Whenever I try to point the NMM to the Skyrim folder (example: programfiles(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim) the NMM states - "path does not contain game EXE"

 

I'm open to suggestions.
