Would it even be possible to replicate Bloodborne's blood?

I want the game to have better looking blood that's left on your character, like how it is done in Bloodborne. Right now it's just black on your face and very faint red on your armor. Would it be possible to have a lot more blood show up on your character, and for the blood to be more red?
