  1. Anyone have any ideas or solutions?
  2. I'll give a few checks a whizz, see if anything comes up. I've had these troubles post re-installation via GOTY disk, so perhaps it's something to do with that.
  3. After finally getting GFWL to work again (long story, but rest assured it's a temporary thing), Fallout 3 has been crashing a lot. Pretty much every time (4 out of 5 times, give or take) I transition through a door, it crashes on the loading screen. Occasionally, it'll just black-screen and kick me back to the desktop when roaming outside. It's really, really annoying now. I'm saving every time I look at a door that leads to a new cell. What could be causing this?
  4. Something similar happened to me, though when it did, screenshots just stopped working entirely.
  5. Just reinstalled the DLCs via the GOTY disk again, and it seems to be working. Cheers for the help.
  6. I probably have. I recall wanting it gone before I used FOSE. However, I've reinstalled Fallout 3 (and made 100% certain FOSE wasn't lurking in the directory), and updated the GFWL client. It's the XLive.dll that's causing the issue, right?
  7. I'll give it a try, but when I boot Fallout, LIVE doesn't load. At all. The Home button does nothing, and the LIVE option on the main menu just fades out the other choices while doing nothing.
  8. Just uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing changed. Well, except that The Pitt is now nothing but red triangles with exclamation marks.
  9. FOMM's fake .dll made no difference, as it wasn't enabled in the first place. GFWL works fine outside of Fallout (the client and on Dawn of War II).
  10. Doesn't apply here, since I can't get GFWL to work post-FOSE. I want to earn the achievements, but I can't get them without GFWL being active, which it isn't. Already looked into it. It only works with vanilla F3, and would require GFWL to work in the first place, which it doesn't in-game. :(
  11. Yeah, all FOSE content in the F3 directory is gone. Which .dll is the fake one? XLive? I reinstalled GFWL already, no change.
  12. Updating/reinstalling GFWL didn't do anything. Is reinstalling really the only other option? Surely that will affect my installed mods?
  13. Right, just in case I posted in the wrong section, I decided to re-post this here: I have a problem, and I'm hoping you guys can help me out here. It involves FOSE, GFWL, and achievements. I have FOSE installed, along with quite a few mods and such, as you do - And I love it. I had Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Operation Anchorage, and all the achievements apart from "Find 100 Locations", because I had used the reveal all command (since I already did everything on the 360 version, you see). Now, as you know, FOSE stops GWFL (which is a good side effect), but I just got my hands on the GOTY DLC disk and installed Mothership Zeta and The Pitt. While I'm more than happy just playing them, I'd also like the achievements. "Easy", I thought. "I'll just backup and delete FOSE from the F3 folder, go through the DLCs and get the achievements, and then kick FOSE back on and enjoy the full experience." Turns out I was wrong. FOSE erased from the folder, FOSE-dependent mods turned off (as far as I know only RTS is FOSE-dependent on my list), and GFWL still doesn't open upon loading. Clicking Home does nothing, and clicking on LIVE on the main menu doesn't do anything apart from shade out the rest. So, Nexus folk, can anyone help me out here? How can I get GFWL back? I bet none of you expect to ever read that, I know I didn't. Thanks in advance. List of mods in use (aside from RTS):
