  1. If you go with the douse fire mod, please make sure that it is compatible with lighting mods and/or ENB. ELFX eliminates all ambient light sources, for example. I always tell myself that the ever burning fires (braziers, campfires, candles) in Skyrim's unoccupied ruins, forts, and mines are due to some special technique involving fire salts or alteration magic. But if that is a technology known to the Nords, why would the candle burning forever in "Candlehearth Hall" be such a miraculous phenomenon?

I don't understand why small towns like Dragonsbridge, Kynesgrove, Rorikstead, and Ivarstead, don't have an essential, fixed-location, general purpose peddler who works out of the Inn, catering to traveling adventurers. This makes sense, since you sometimes encounter a peddler while wandering in the wilds -- they're often getting killed by bandits and forsworn -- why wouldn't any be found where there are friendlies to sell things to? The Khajiit Caravans are not enough for me -- you never know if they'll be there or not. This would also go really nicely with any mod that removes fast travel and depends upon horses and the stable drivers to get from place to place.
  3. I Agree! How is it that the only tempered armor and weapons in the game belong to the player, when there are so many talented smiths in the game, and even Alvor in Riverwood at LEVEL ONE teaches you how to temper a weapon? Makes no sense!!!!
