my computer was running skyrim but then it had to restart for a windows update it didnt work again and crashed to dektop after bethesda logo for about 1 day then it started working again. the day after i had to resart to finish installing new software and it didnt work again. any clues y this would happen?? i didnt edit anything much in the day it wasnt working then when i tried it randomly it started working again... random i know aye

what do u mean by looking? im running it on a 1080 x 1920 laptop with 6gb solid state ram with all graphics drivers up to date

yeah that was like the first thing i did, it was literally working 5 minutes ago then i has to restart my computer and it start stuffing up again. my load order is fine and everything i have no clue what it is.

hey man i had to shutdown my laptop as skyrim froze for some retarted reason and it start doing it again im just f*#@ing sick of this bloody bug. y hasnt bethesda released a patch for this as i done even have any mods installed.

i had tried that many times... i tried the defrag and still no success do u have any other ideas?

whats a defrag? ok i understand what it is but apperently defraging my computer will reduce its life time because it is a solid state

ok so my skyrim was working perfectly yesterday, but today it crashes after the bethesda logo. i havent added any new mods or anything, my graphics card is up to date same with my system and steam and skyrim, i have tried running tes5edit but it says their is no errors with the launch. if tried uninstalling and reienstalling it twice. ive tried running it in windowed mode and it doesnt work, tried changing the sound too all the different options in controll pannel. Can anyone help me? Im running it through steam on windows 10, i have just base game no dlc, also my system can easily pass the minimum requirements to run skyrim. Thanks in Advance for any Advice

so i downloaded skyrim and when ever i run the screen edges get cut off. today skyrim started crashing at the bethesda logo an i fixed it by running it in window mode. but now when i run skyrim it loads properly exept im missing half the screen. (window mode makes the screen zoom into the top left corner of my normal launch screen with the sides gone) this makes it literally impossible to play. i hope i was clear enough. Any help is much apreicated. my usuall screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 thanks in advance! I think when i launch the game the resolution gets turned down or something thanks. sorry couldnt upload a photo the file was to big
