[SE]How do you rig a bow for skyrim?
Dragoon23 replied to dragonlord987's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I'd do it in outfit studio. Load up a reference skyrim bow that is of similar size/shape first, drag your bow on top of the reference bow, than export only your bow. Should be rigged than. Same with swords. Here's my video: -
I don't understand what you're trying to do. If you're just replacing the mesh, you can replace the meshes with your replacers. If they're not weight painted already, you can do that in outfit studio by first loading the monster skeleton in settings, load the vampire lord mesh as a reference, and than manipulate your mesh to fit the vampire lord reference to copy bone weights.

SSE Himbo Armor Conversions.

CTDs can be caused by bad partitions. Double check that the partitions on the nifs match the ones in the armor entry. -
Is it possible to apply a bodyslide armor to one specific npc?

Not with bodyslide. Any bodyslide preset will apply to all npcs and player.- 4 replies

Dragoon23 replied to wattbatt's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Bodyslide is working as intended. Skyrim by default uses body meshes that are shared among all npcs and pc. Bodyslide creates these body meshes so no, you cannot use it for only 1 npc. You'll need to use something like an npc equivalent of the unique character mod though I don't know of any off the top of my head.- 4 replies

BD armor replacer changes male helmets for no reason
Dragoon23 replied to wattbatt's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Try a new game. If the changes persist, than the armor entries in the esp were probably changed as well. I'm guessing they changed the body part slots which in retrospect makes sense since the armor entries are linked to both male and female versions so changes to body slots will affect both genders. I'm guessing the mod author changed the helmets and such because of said baldness issue. You'll need to use CK or xedit to change to those entries back to vanilla if you want hair back on males. The caveat being that changing the body slot number will also change the ones for the female armors and may cause problems with them. -
BD armor replacer changes male helmets for no reason
Dragoon23 replied to wattbatt's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Skimming the mod files, it has packaged the male armor and helmet nifs as well. If you hide/delete them the changes will probably go away. -

Which bd armor replacer are you referring to. -
You can already become invulnerable by using console command: tgm

@purr4me: You can delete just fine in Outfit Studio. You just need to create some weight sliders for the _0 and _1 body weights and than can delete/edit as necessary. Than manually export from Outfit Studio both _0 and _1 nifs and move them to the appropriate folder. @laurellabellabean: If you're moving the vertices, you should be able to move them forward over the nips, not inward into the body. If you're manipulating the clothes, you should be using the inflate tool to inflate the area around the nips. Another solution is rather than manipulate the clothing, you manipulate the body directly and move the nips inward. Depending on how much is covered, you might also be able to just delete the nips from the body layer. Deleting vertices off the body layer is the same as deleting off a clothes layer. It's what I do to minimize clipping by deleting all non-visible skin areas of the body layer. Videos 1 and 2 may be helpful for you.
-
Outfit studio has a method for vertex merge but I don't recommend it if you're just covering popping out nips. Easiest way to do it would be to use the inflate/deflate tool to either make the armor layer around the nips bigger to cover them or make the nips of the body layer smaller. Best method would be to simply delete the non visible area of skin so there are no nips to pop out to begin with.

SSE Request, a hooded or crestless Dwemerhelmet
Dragoon23 replied to GrozaKon's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Here ya go: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/52902 These are replacers. Edit: As for how: i did it via Bodyslide and Outfit Studio and shrunk the crest part. You need to mask the parts you don't want to edit leaving only the crest and than use the Transform tool to manipulate the crest. -

This always bothered me: Female Modded Armor/Clothing
Dragoon23 replied to danwat801's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Another alternative is to convert male armors you like into female armors. They're ~generally less skimpy overall and the process isn't too bad once you have your sliders set up imo. -
The mod author under permissions said: "You are not allowed to convert this file to work on other games under any circumstances" Though skimming the comments, it looks like people have been able to use it with SSE with some success after converting it by opening and saving it in SSE CK. For obvious reasons: private use only.

If you want, but if you're already used to and like Vortex, than just stick with it. You can at least check Game Data Path because that's via Bodyslide. Oh, are you running Bodyslide from Vortex itself or independently? It should be run within Vortex since that's the only way it'll read anything installed with Vortex.
-
Ah ok, are you using a mod manager? If so, which one? If it's MO2: Try 2 things - 1. Make sure your Game Data Path is set to the data folder. Settings -> Game Data path -> Skyrim Special Edition\data\ 2. Doublecheck it's in the right virtual folder by checking the virtual explorer folder and checking: Skyrim Special Edition\data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderPresets If it's not in there, move them there. if it's there but bodyslide isn't reading it, try restarting MO2. After that, I'm outta ideas. I don't know how to do that on vortex.
-
These aren't racemenu files. These are bodyslide files used with Bodyslide and Outfit Studio. You'll need to load them up in bodyslide, hit build, and they should work from there.
-
Easiest option would be to use Outfit Studio to remove the feathers/Ornament. Select the feathers, press and hold d to highlight the whole feather, and delete vertices. You'll need to do this to both helmet meshes. You'll get something like this.

You can use Outfit Studio or Nifskope to change the position of amulets on the body. However, I believe you'll need to change each one individually.- 1 reply
