so after playing for a while and being super careful with my camera i seem to have triggered something that lets me move around just fine. i think it might have been rescuing anora but i cant be sure on that.

So I don't have any mods installed but Nexus tends to be really good with this sort of thing. I have discovered two points in the game where everything freezes up so badly that I can't even alt-tab out of the game. If I open task manager using ctrl-alt-delete the game minimizes and i can see my desktop, but the cursor is still the one that shows up in game, and i cannot interact with anything. at this point the best thing I can do is sign out so the game shuts down and try again. through this i have managed to figure out exactly where the problems are happening, though not why. first place is in everyones favourite crash zone, the denerim market. this is where i first encountered the mega freeze and while i have found a lot of forums on CTD in this area and attempted to apply the fixes for this similar problem i have had no luck and have found no information on the specific problem i am having. the game freezes when i move the camera to a specific point near the entrance of the street behind the gnawed noble tavern where the wonders of thedas is. it doesnt freeze if i send a character on ahead without moving the camera into that spot, and i was even able to enter the wonders of thedas using this technique, but the game will not load when i try to exit the store. there is also an area surrounding the freeze zone where saves just kinda... dont load if i save there, which is probably related. i know for certain that the game is freezing and not lagging massively because i left it to load overnight to no effect. the second place is two specific and related points in return to ostagar. near the very beginning, but after the group of darkspawn that can be fought to obtain cailan's greaves, i go down the ramp thingy to fight more darkspawn, near where dog is, and cannot move the camera past the second fortification. i attempted to lure the darkspawn back up the ramp, and succeeded, but as soon as the last of the darkspawn fell i got hit with that freeze again. this is really ruining the DLC for me, since i cant play it and all. any help anyone has would be amazing, as i have been stuck in this cycle for ages and have things i need to Get Done.

Hey! So I recently became interested in modding and went searching for the FONV GECK. Strangely, however, I can't seem to find a download link that works. This is turning into a less fun version of Fallout 2 with me running all over the show clicking on every link I can find but always being redirected back to fallout4.com or the bethesda dashboard. What's going on? Has the download location moved recently and none of the links I'm following have been updated? Is the GECK even still around for this game? Thanks for (hopefully!) answering.

I know they must exist! I also know amorous adventures offers this option, but i'm not big on adding a bunch of romance quests and stuff, so i want to know if anyone knows of an alternative mod to let serana feed from me. i think it'd be a really cool feature. thanks! also, if there is no alternative just let me know so i know to use AA.

somehow that seems to have helped somehow. it may have been the fact that i approached solitude from the outside instead of fast travelling there (the code sent me to the lumber mill just outside town) so i'll try that from now on. one way or another, you helped me find a workaround. thanks a million!

sadly, even with all similar mods deactivated the game still crashes, so it isn't any of those.

we don't have all that many mods in common, so this might be easier, though I can't see how any of the ones we have in common would cause such a glitch I'll list them here. Frostfall Inigo SoS- Civilization ELFX Exteriors EnhancedLightsandFX Campfire I'll do a bit of digging, see how things work without these mods. Hopefully it's the breakthrough I needed.

Ever since completing the battle for Whiterun for the Imperials I have been having trouble with CTDs that only occur whilst saving. Initially I thought this problem was isolated to Solitude, but have since discovered that once Solitude is visited I get a CTD no matter where I save. I have disabled a few mods that I thought might be causing the problem, but no luck there. I have reloaded various old saves pre-glitch, cleaned just about EVERYTHING, launched the game with everything I can think of, edited and re edited the skyrim.ini file (currently using unedited file as the edits did nothing and I have no idea if they might make future attempts to fix harder), rearranged my load order over and over, and cleared orphan scripts from my save files, deleting older files in the hopes that it would help. None of it has. Does anyone else have any advice or a similar problem? So after trying to download Dynamo ENB i found that it was causing my game to crash nearly instantly. idk if my computer is lousy or if i did something wrong (both probably tbh) but once i found the source of the problem i deleted all the files attached to the ENB. The good news is, my game runs! The bad news? a weird graphics glitch is happening, where world objects are loading in the wrong order. i look through a hill and see a campfire, water always shows up when it's close enough to load, obstacles and line of sight be dammed. That sort of thing. The advice I've seen on similar problems has been to purge the ENB, but I did that so I could play the game. Is there something I might have missed? I'm pretty new to modding. Also, I have NO idea what caused it, but several NPCs faces are stretched out. I can confirm that Manny Vargas looked like a normal human being when i first met him, but now he's just dying for a "why the long face?" joke. I deactivated the only mod i had that I thought could have been doing it (Face Randomizer) but he and the Doctor in Novac are still looking messed up. Is there any way to reset these changes? Sorry for there not being any pictures right now, but it is very late where I am and I will need a bit of time to take them and track them down. Any specific helpful details will be added in on request, because, like I said, I'm new to modding and am not sure what might be important. Sorry for any trouble this causes you!
