how about a mod that makes you recoil when you hit anything other than an npc

Im looking for a mod that switches the animation that plays while strafeing from forward to sideways. i wouldn't know where to look to change it myself. maybe someone who knows how could make a small mod for me or let me know how to do something like that

i think it would make the game look smoother if the sideways animation played while strafeing instead of the forward one. is there a mod like this already?
