  1. Please help! My game completely ran fine for months. I run a few mods and had no problems. I started playing my game and my game will go to a black screen, but I can hear the music and sound. This is when I am in game, NOT the loading screen. I was running the same mods as previously and it continued to do it. I started a new game just in case my saved game was buggy, but it still does it. I read online that it could be my graphics card, but why would it be fine for months then do this to me? Any suggestions?
  2. I have come across this area several times in my skyrim travels...every time I wander here I always think this would be a great place for a house. There are already house ruins there, but it would be fun to see it "rebuilt". I would totally love to try to build a house (I've done followers in ck) but I really don't have time to learn to build a house in skyrim. I'm also not that creative when it comes to floor plans. It would be awesome if someone did this request! <3
  3. OMG i love quest for glory!!! i would play that mod if it was made!
  4. I went through hell to fix this same problem. I SWEAR I changed the bFLoatPointRenderTarget=1 in my ini file. Guess what? I was changing the wrong ini file!!! I was so tired I was changing the ini file in the "DATA" folder instead of changing the ini file in my "GAMES" folder. Derp. When I fixed the correct ini file it worked perfectly.
  5. Hello! I need some help! Is it possible to make a follower with a custom hairstyle that I can include into my mod so the user doesn't have to download the separate mod hairstyles? All I know is how to create a follower with mod dependency. I see followers on the nexus with other mod hairstyles, but they don't need any other mod requirements. Of course I would get permission from the author if this is possible. If this is possible can someone tell me how to do this or point me to a tutorial? Thanks!
  6. I installed a mod and married him. However, I had to do some cleaning up with my mods so I had to uninstall all of my mods and do a clean save. I re-installed selected mods without the marriage companion I chose earlier and I cannot get remarried; the game thinks I am married. Even if I re-installed the mod that I married, he still does not acknowledge me being married to him. How can I get remarried in skyrim if that companion doesn't exist? I can't do the divorce mod since the companion doesn't think we are married if he is in the game.
  7. I just experienced this crash and have been dealing with it all night. I found this link and I changed my screen resolution like this guy and it worked (you can change your resolution back after): http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=122469 I had nothing to do with Dawnguard or the Brotherhood quests like everyone else was talking about. I was just roaming the wilderness camping in skyrim when I got my error. i thought it was my mods but I disabled them and still wasn't having any luck. Hopefully the info helps!
  8. So I am a nub at modding and this question might sound really dumb. I made an npc in ck. His facial textures weren't loading into Skyrim (grey face without the warpaint and colorings on face.) I did the export facegen. I see the .dds and the .tga file that it created in my FaceGenData folder. I now want to pack those two files (create archive) so my .esp file will have those two included...basically the facial texture to load. So I now create archive and drag those two files over, however, the ck wont include the .tga file, it will only take the .dds file. Now if I play the .esp file on another computer it won't show the texture, since the .tga file was not in the .esp file. The texture will obviously will show on my computer since its local. How do I pack the texture (.tga) file in my .esp file? I want the textures included in my file for others to enjoy my npc. Please help!
