"Modders make mods for exactly the reasons you are complaining about." Yes you are right Bben46 but it requires i think more time to Mod than to play . And tbh i have a very busy life so planing to makes mod works wouldn't really fit my enjoyment time. I m more a mod-consumer than a creator. Some are doing it already better than me ..the more it goes, the more there must be some skill requirement for doing perfect mod(meshes, things about skin , programming and so on..and i m a billion years away from all those skills ) My main idea behind this topic was to point at the actual fashion with non lore friendly character (anime type) and the lack of realism because of some follower that just spoiling the game's interest (Like some follower do the job, you're here to lot and interact with quest actor..) I m calling for more killable follower , make life risky in Skyrim ..and i was wondering if some peoples are already sharing this point of view.. Above all I am fully conscious that even if i let a comment on a follower anime mod that i didn't like ..(and been warned by staff that it was not acceptable) on the other hand i did recognised that these must have been a lot of work .. Some people should take more in consideration ALL KIND OF advice and criticism when it s not for trolling .

Does anyone know some good mod looking like those please? real follower with personality ..like Vilja, Sofia...and follower who can die...something different from eyes candy teenager follower please? (Yes i ve received a warning notice about me congratulating someone about a non lore follower mod as i added that i didn't liked it..(Cf "Nexus almighty rules"if you don't like it just move on"...)

Hi . I m just wondering if some people are like me still looking for follower that looks less like teenager with women's curve..*sigh* To be honest I really admire some of you that makes n-followers Mods ,even that made mods.., i m conscious about the HUGE time it took to you ... But Most follower new mods i found each week is only resuming to lil girls' faces with women's sexy shapes and curves... Skyrim , to me is more a wild place, dangerous, full of adventure where even follower may dies!(like you can too..) I m crying each time i m reading a description with "essential" everything dies...Even the dovakhin ...so why never followers..? What is the challenge playing a character looking like Conan, ridding the wild with a teenager follower most of the time wearing make up like a stolen car..and that cannot DIE *HUGE FACEPALM* Are there any peoples around that are still willing to play Skyrim like a real dangerous place with challenge (i meant , not watching your teenager (follower )doing all the job for you ..? I m playing in Legendary difficulty and tbh most followers are just spoiling the challenge sometime... Are there any brave adventurers in here that feels the same?

Hi all, Because i don't know about editor,because i messed up with the quest that allow you to get the rare healer companion from the game , i m wondering if someone could make a mod with some different kind of healer please...(paladin,priest,rogue /priest,shaman,evil one ,good one, ..)I m actually playing a warrior orc ...and bashing monster doesn't really give me time to heal myself ^^' Thanks a lot :)

Not bored yet , i already made about 5 or 7 character( not all lvled to 50 ) when i m getting bored i m doing another character, thinking of a background for it , and even if i m starting being bored i just choose some mods to improve the game, changing the difficulty of the game..and the day i ll be very very very bored i ll simply put my armor and weapons on the ground and i ll start to play with the editor. With imagination,something you really enjoyed couldn't become boring(it s my personnal point of view of course :) )

Hello i was wondering if mods that add healer companion do exist (or i ll need some glasses :wallbash: ) I found some with thief assassin and so on but no healer or priest (no dragon priest ..i want to keep interest in the game) I was wondering if someone nice could create a mod with new companion healer (males and female ) but with different specialities such as paladin, wild healer( like shaman or retired old witch) priest (with robe and holy symbol) ,druidlike shapeshift and healing... I must admit , playing a lonely as a shield /mace warrior is a pain in my back there are not enought healer companion compare to mage and warrior :s (btw i m already using better follower mod(the big mod with armor and companion) i enjoy this mod and it would be awesome if i still could run this mod too ^^ Thank you . :happy:

Hi . I tried that one time ago , playing skyrim with severals mods such as real time picklocking,survival (need to eat and drink you could also got sick from eatting rotten food and drunk when ..wine and alcohol xD) i also used the cold gestion , also an mod included the rest time after runing long (that madees you thirsty ) and ..all that in Normal mode...well i spent more time trying to survive than looking for adventure xD.. I can remember how long it was just to go and get back the gold claw at the early begining , finding torch as well(cause i added mod for realistic enlightment)...i even decided not to use the fast travel ...and omg that was really hard..i finaly gave up , i m the kind of compulsive person that keeps anything he find ..i will remember how it look messing with guard as you are drunk and trying to run away .."i was adventurer in the past then i received a large amount of arrow in the ***" But one thing i ll keep in mind was .."awww i ve never been in a such place before" yeah traveling makes encounting much more realistics and i like that ..i m the kind of explorator much more than adventurer ..one interesting path leaded me to another one..the challenge was really huge doing that in realistic immersion situation :)

Hahahah nice ! i thought a was a noob having trouble with my huge mace , bashing enemies , almost those that are using frost xD i enjoyed knowing today that i m not alone having trouble with those one ;) thanks for that :D and honestly i sometime feel like a worm trying to hide somewhere when i meet a dragon *help help gimme a carton box i need to hide * i wish i could disguise into a rock or a tree so far i feel just a bit out of range when its flying around and burning the place into charcoal field

I m getting rid off those magicien personnaly ...you even don't have time to run and bash a monster that the poor monster already received two fireballs and several lightning in his face...I tried many of them and they don't really attract me as much ..but the choice into mage in skyrim is almost large, The only thing i m blaming is the awesome lack of Healer follower ..actually playing a orc warrior i always dreamed of a sexy mage following me and taking good care of me :) ..But no ..i just had a guy in a tavern that doesn't want to follow me -_-' , i also checked some mod but not been lucky too. Mage seems as powerfull as each other just their speciality that are different (even if i admit party with a mage could make the party able to deal with many harsh situation :) )

I called my evil female mage Safron , my evil orc warrior Grishnak and i ll start soon a new huntress i ll call like one of my wow character Vladislava or Natasha if i give her some thief habilities

Ok finally i removed ALL the mods, removed the d3d9.dll , set all graphic parameters to max and ultra, i tried briefly outside and inside to check how it looked and that was good , i tried to add some mods and tried after each one if the game was still running and all was okay till there, i installed 2k landscape texture,UPN body and super3enb...till now all is working ..i ll download bigger mods today that should improve water effect (cause at home connxion is really toooo slow -_-) but till now thanks a lot it seems to work perfectly (just encountered one crash back to desktop but don't know why think it should be the necessary 1% of epic fail from windows )

Nice ...it seems that Skyrim now is detecting my Geforce 560 Ti as a 8800GS graphic card...this is driving me nuts...

Thanks for your quick answer :thumbsup: ...i now start to have a clue about the" possibly maybe "cause of my trouble ...i have around twenty mods(even more!!!) installed on my Skyrim .. i ll do what you adviced me according to the settings you entered step one removing all mods, then just pick ten of them , and the snapshoot you put is really awesome i look forward to get the same result(Poor falmer ^^ ) ...And i ll look for a upgrade patch for my english xD

Hello , first i appologise by advance for my english cause in french native speaker..but i hope you'll understand what my problem are. Frist of all thank you for this website that makes me feel like a kid in a candies shop , I downloaded many Mod to increase my experience of skyrim ..but i have a problem .. My computer configuration is a I5 pentium-2500 ,i have a Nvidia GTX 560 Ti , a motherboard p8 h 67-V, 16 Go ram(Crucial 8 Go (4x 4 Go) DDR3 1333 MHz ) and a 750 Go HDD I 've installed several Mod and followed the Nvidia improving method to give a better render on graphic (the method have been found on a link found on this web site ),I ve added the mod to use Skyrim 4go ram and graphic seems much more laggy (low fps almost night ..my skyrim looks like a PPS ..*facepalm* i finaly removed it and changed the 2k Texture found on the website by the Lite version , but graphics look much more crappy (or i was just getting used to High rez Texture ^^) My questions are the following..> 1-Is there a proper method to came back to the original Skyrim version with a better FPS by removing properly all the mod by using the NMM or it will let some trouble into my skyrim folder? 2-When i installed many Mods it has been asked if i wanted to overrwritte some already existing files already installed by some other Mod..in doubt i said no cause if i say yes some mod are just desactivated(i encountered this situation when i installed the 2k textureHigh Rez)....Might this be a hypothectic cause of my heavy low FPS in the game? 2Bis- by speaking of mods, i removed some that just make skyrim shut down and brang me back to desktop as many people never had any trouble.. 3-Why is there in my NMM some lil board with the " ! " Symbol conerning some mods? 4-Do you think my hardware configuration should allow me to have a exquisite graphic render?( i mean not a medium like the Skyrim auto detect tells me ) 5- In any case i m waiting forward to have news about my problem cause it s really a pain in the ass knowing that i never finished the game and i really wanted to play it fully in a optimium condition :) 6- Thx ever so much to all people that could help me and if i could provide help by doing translation i d gladly do it :) Thanks for taking time to read.have a good day .

Hi , seems i have the same problem since yesterday , all went OK and suddenly starting yesterday my NMM keept on crashing without even taking time to launch properly ...perhaps it could be because of a windows update or something so , i personnaly have no clues :s
