OK I've tried it, I don't like it. It is more difficult to find things ; it appears to be designed to help Nexus not the Nexus users. It may be simpler for you , it is not for us. I don't know why you thought you needed to change it but I am fairly sure that it was not because of any cry from the users. Besides you don't seem to understand a basic principle that humans have known for almost three millennia; People do not like change in something they are used to especially. They may think they want it but then they don't like it when it happens. With that in mind you would, I would think, want to have a very, very good reason to change something that a large number of people use and have used for a long time. From a user standpoint I have not found one thing I think is better than it was so my request is; Go Back to the previous system. If there a things you need to change for some reason do it in a manner that does not change the process for the users.

There are some armor and clothing mods that in their instructions say "build it in body slide" - What does that mean and how does one find out how to do it ? Do they really mean build it in "outfit studio". The problem I have is the outfits with skirts or dresses are insanely long two or three feet dragging on the ground and some are supposed to be short. I do not understand. I do not know of a way to change skirt/dress length in body slide. Help Please ! , they are nice outfits and I would like to use them but not the way they are.

I tried that -did not work for me - I am assuming at this point that I need to go back and change the SKSE version to the "old" version that matches what I am trying to revert to. Is this true?

I was trying to endorse a mod and the endorse button was grayed out. I checked and it was grayed out for all mods ! What's up and do I fix this?

So I go through the "media" section of both LE and SE on a regular basis. In a recent visit it occurred to me that if we took all the wonderful images and put them together, it would make a grand skyrim film. Some of our screen archers (who thought up that name ??) have done some incredible work at least equal to what we see in some films and would it be incredibly fantastic to see in a film. Of course, once you start down that road one of the questions becomes who should play what Skyrim characters. So I am proposing a contest to name actors for each of the character roles in Skyrim . Maybe our fearless leaders will make it official at some point and give away some great prizes to those with the best ideas but maybe they won't . Either way it sounds like fun to me so reply with character name and who should be cast in that role ! I mean we're all supposed to be staying home anyway so lets put the little gray cells to work. I will start you with a small list of characters to think about who should play them but do not feel limited by this list . Any character in Skyrim would qualify. Experiencing similar problem. Game ran fine on windows 7 , bought a new computer (Alienware Aurora R8 i9 9900k 4.7ghz,16gb ddr4 , 512gb ssd, 2 TB h/d, nvidia rtx 2080 w/8gb gddr6) and cannot get game to load from Steam. Tried with and w/o skse. At one point windows aid it was an incompatibility issue so I got them (chat) and they told me it was skse. but it will not start w/o skse either. Is there a problem between Steam and Windows 10, dunno ? Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

hmmmm, not familiar with all the mods you have but looks like it could be a memory problem either with your video card or with the skyrim 3.1gb wall . I would check those first. From what I seen and experienced when you go to a city you are moving to a new cell and there is a moment where both cell you are leaving and the one you are entering can clog up memory . Any problems with fast travel because that's another place it occurs. I'm not technically adept enough to give you more than that, sorry.

Santa was very good to me and I rec'd a LG widescreen curved monitor (it is great). I have one nagging issue though and it is in racemenu. I have used racemenu for a long time with no problems. Now the racemenu screen only shows the "all" tab athe top is off screen and unreachable. the other tabs (race, body,head, face, et al) are not present at all. Much of their info and sliders are in the "all" tab but vertically aligned requiring scrolling down to find them and they are organized differently and not all the sliders I had are there. I use "truby9" for the 21x9 ratio and I have changed the ini height and width settings to the recommended 3440 x 1440 for this screen. Anyone know why racemenu doesn't seem to want to mesh with this setup? Everything else seems to be working fine and the game looks great. I would really like to get back the racemenu screens the way they were, anyone have any good thoughts on how to do that? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I have not had the problem of the racks not working totally but I have had individual spots on a rack stop accepting weapons and I have had individual racks stop working while the rest of the racks in a house continue to function just fine (particularly in solitude and windhelm houses). I have just figured it is a glitch in the game or a snafu caused by mod detritus from a mod that I deleted mid game or sumpin (yeah I know that was bad but I am lazy so it happens). Don't know if that is related to your problem but plaques and racks are kinda touchy little buggers so if you are really bugged by it, you may have to reload.

In response to post #54701433. #54702813, #54702858, #54703063 are all replies on the same post. well kids you can stop arguing cuz I am 72 and for my part there good and bad points to the changes. It is slower to load, both initially and page to page on the other hand the visuals are better. Unless they paid you a lot of money to do it there is no reason I should have to look at advertisements first before I can get to the mods, move the ads to the bottom or the side. Actually unless there are behind the pages improvements that are unknown to us, from a users perspective it seems to be a wash. I never had a problem with the old version and you could probably have done a better job of using the talent you have on more important issues.

well I have the same problem and I have no enb installed so I am glad you got rid of it but enb is not the only thing that can cause it . Anyone know anything elsethat might help? I get it on a new start at character creation. Only affecting the character, not NPCs

I agree with Revan. If you really crank up the smithing improvement on a weapon (past legendary) it can cause the damage to go negative. The same can happen with armor and if you use a mod that allows you to have multiple enchantments that may do it too. Really don't need them if you improve the weapon anyway.

I just experienced something strange. I was playing and when I went to enter Jorrvasker I crashed. When I reloaded the game, all of the characters( me, npcs ) were black. Some of the outfits showed and the buildings and mountains and sky were ok but the ground was also black. I could still move around but kinda hard to know where you are going when faced with the big black. Anyone have a clue what the problem might be? Better yet anyone know what solution might be?

This is very well done, thank you. On a related issue, when I give an enchanted outfit or weapon to a follower, there is an annoying visual that occurs whenever they are near and I have something enchanted on as well. It is a light blue spiral between us. Is there a way to avoid this other than not giving followers anything that is enchanted ?

I wish I could help you but I am having similar problems. I deleted all my saves and attempted to start a new game but in the intro sequence there is no one in the carriages and when we reach Helgen the horses attempt to climb the wall because the gate does not open. It's funny but doesn't get the game started. I am assuming that it is broken beyond redemption at this point and looking to purge the game and reload it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think you should call it BOB. It doesn't stand for anything (though there are those that will make something fit it). After all, what's in a name , that which we call a rose would smell as sweet were it not called a rose.Therefore doff thy name . (sorry could not resist ) I am not concerned about the name and most of the quasi techno jargon is lost on me anyway but make sure when you do it that porting the mods from the current to the new is seamless, user friendly in the extreme and doesn't botch load orders or lose mods all together as some of your previous efforts have been wont to do. It would be nice if you tweak the system so when we delete mods we don't get crap from the deleted mod left in the game too. I think you guys have a great system going here and have had for years. It is nice that you pay attention to newbies but don't forget us oldies and don't assume we are technically oriented either. I sometimes think that the majority of users are not technically oriented but the ones who are are also the ones who post most often and so form a special interest group (yes, much like politics) and because you hear more from them you tend to cater to their whims. That isn't always a bad thing, a great many of us don't know what the realm of the possible is and so do not know what to ask for. I look forward to your next iteration though I cannot promise I will change, old habits die hard.

Hmmmm, It seems that there are a lot of people who want to argue for the sake of arguing. This is a relatively simple process that people are trying to complicate. If you don't like a mod, don't download it and move on. If you don't like a modder don't bother to look at their mods or if you really want the mod but don't like the modder just download and use. Life is way too short to spend your time sending out negative comments. What does that accomplish ? If a modder asks for comments and you feel you have something to add, do so. If the modder then bans you, why would you care ? If it was "constructive" criticism and the modder chooses to ignore it, that is their right. You have sent the message to the person it was meant for, just move on. If it was not "constructive" and it gets taken down and you get banned by either Nexus or the modder, learn from it and move on. A modder , good or mediocre, has created something and is allowing you to use it if you want. The modder as the creator has some inherent rights to what they created. As a users, We need to respect those rights and that effort and creativity. If you think it should be done differently ,then learn the skills and do it your own way.
