[question about elf ears/mod request maybe?]

do elf ears not match skin color anymore? mine stay the default color where they used to change. if so can someone mod it to match skin color?

im unsure what a snam record is or how to change wrye bash tags are these neccesary for this? and if they are how do i go about doing that i did make a patch that seems to have fixed it but im unsure if those two things mentioned might cause trouble later if i ignore them

to me it looks like this second mod could be the issue

for what it does, that plugin looks rather large, so the author may have edited other entries in it by mistake

if you don't need it, try removing it and see if it fixes the issue

if you still want to use it, you just need to undo the edits it had on any item. just find an item it edits (like the glass helmet) and simply drag the name from the main .esm to that plugin (or create a new plugin with the fix. honestly it isn't likely that the mod will be updated, so you should be fine editing it)

 

if you can't figure this out, look up guides on editing items in xEdit, as this will be the easiest way to do this

I could also try to help if you want, I'll need to see if I can provide informative pictures to explain what you need to do

Confirm that it is that mod by deactivating it and checking in game that the helmet has been fixed. I suspect you've linked the wrong mod as the one linked does not offer any files that could change the name of an object.

you could try opening you mod list in xEdit, find the item's information in the main .esm and see which plugins affect it to try and find which one is renaming it

or you could recheck you entire mod list by going to the mod pages and seeing if you've downloaded a translation or something, but that would be a far longer process

 

maybe try posting your load order in spoiler (to make the post readable) so maybe we'll be able to notice anything that could lead to the problematic plugin (maybe it has something in its name to reflect that it is in Spanish)

my glass helmet was renamed to yelmo de cristal and im unsure why. im sure its a mod doing it but i cant seem to track down which mod is causing the helmet to be replaced with its spanish variant any ideas how i can fix it?

[Jagged crown help]

i wanted the jagged crown to be in slot 55 so i took the necessary steps and it works but now the crown has no world model and cant be dropped without disappearing from existence how can i fix this? i just want to be able to equip the crown and helmets/ dragon masks at the same time and i couldnt find a mod that did it for me. im not very knowlegable or good at modding on my own and im unsure what to do without making something so simple into even more of a massive headache
