I have the same problem, started as a bandit, now some of them are friendly to me, some do attack. Mod puts you in the bandit faction until you reach Helgen supposedly, but the ones I saw mostly are friendly. Can someone help us manually remove that faction mark, via SSEdit or something? Such a simple mod shouldnt make me throw my 20 hour gameplay character go to waste. Appreciate any help, thx

Yeah it's super annoying. I'm getting it too. It's year 2020 and no one figured out how to say a big f*#@ off to an error message constantly popping off at every loaded save. ALRIGHT I RECEIVED THE MESSAGE AND I ACKNOWLEDGE WHATEVER THAT WILL GO WRONG WILL GO WRONG. I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT AND JUST DON'T TELL ME AT EVERY SAVE. Going to have to disable AFT because of this one simple message box. Nice.

Smh tbh pal, in posts section one guy reported he used 2.8 Unpatched, and it worked out fine. Might give it a try. Alternatively use Racemenu, it gives bunch of color options as well.

Turns out I was using an older version which was called Brighter Torches, Now I downloaded this, ran boss and merged the patch. The mod works perfectly as intented. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/16282?tab=posts

I installed this mod today and when I went to test it out I found out that it doesn't properly work. Lit torches don't drop when I pull out my bow,staff or weapon&shield. This is a big problem for me because I use mods that make the environments incredibly dark. The hotkey works when I am not holding anything, my character will equip a torch. And the torches are brighter( like it was mentioned in the description of the mod ). However in combat my character puts the torch to the inventory instead of dropping it, and equips the weapon, resulting in the area being pitch dark. In addition to that; when I manually drop torches, they either are lit but don't illuminate the area or aren't lit at all. I had been playing around with this mod on my earlier installation of Oblivion but now it doesn't work. Thanks for any help in advance.

I have a similar problem, although my problem is that when I pull out my weapon and such, the torch doesnt drop and I'm left in darkness
