In your opinion - What is the Worst Game You Have Ever Played From
mgrandy replied to ImNoGhoul's topic in Classic Games
Global gladiators (author you guessed it Mac Donalds ) Stick to burgers people not master system games Although ffx+ did come close on my list lol Or how about silent hill Wii I dare you to die in this game its impossible No weapons just a torch the whole game -
So if it ain't your hardware then most defenatly its going to be the game loop anyway a few thing to Google and read up for ya ;-) Nano time Ps2 connections And game loops O and for the fact that there are many systems no one system is the same that logs on to the game it takes time to optimise the CPU along with the game to do the right calcs at the right time A bit of history for ya too PC ruled the world c64/ amstrad/BBC then along came windows , now how do we make lots of money without having to make people use an unknown keyboard and mouse I know we will give them a controller and you won't have to Load "James pond" Run Somewhere along the way they got obsseded with making money of consoles and how they could from games for one set system (plug in and play) And there you have it forgot about a PC game for this reason and now due to the speed of which tech was moving consoles ante now rolling back

Mouse and keyboard 5\5 Anolog controller 4/5 Digital controller 3/5 Steering wheel 4\5 Mouse/keyboard with a few macros 10\5 Enough said been the case for many years since the time of analogue came out. It also takes a set number of nano secs (nanotime) to reach your device PC2 is the only true connection when it comes to this sort of stuff as that is what its made for y does a gaming mouse have a wire? For this reason ..... A lot of it also depends on a game loop and to get graphics to move the computer recalculates the position every few secs just that fast your eyes don't notice the gaps. I'm happy to go into it in more detail if any of the above makes sense Hardware can also help on this front by doing more calcs per sec Let's say you make a game at 1 sec you get your pic At 1 sec you move control at At 1.2s your input from USB is received At 1.3s your screen is refreshed with the new position With ps2 connectorter it would take less time 1.1s it would receive the input from ps2 Also depending on the game loop depends on how many other instructions it has to do before calculating the next picture if it does not have time it stacks it on the back burner

Invalid platform is your operating system do you have the minimum ? Steam are generally very hard to get your money back from previous Experance from blops (call of duty black ops ) when they released a half complete game and charged us all full money And also there customer support is limited or it was at the time I used it. Personally I would never buy any game off steam for these reasons although it does have its benefits I generally try games before I buy them these days that's the benefit of been a PC gamer just hack and crack don't like don't buy. With all these half baked company's releasing half made games these days its ripe , o but they will fix in the next update etc they just want your wallet nothing more Never /never I call that like buying on finance lol Pirates walk the plank immediately here on the good ship Nexus. Bye. <splash> --TNL :pirate:

Best laugh I've had in awhile where did you get your degree ;-) kellogs jks zero water cooling so 3.7x2 is going to be your max granted it will get to 100 mph quicker bit you may as well just buy a good water cooler for what there suggesting and upgrade everything else save yourself 50 quid or put that into a full size tower also the build you have is a budget build. you just do not know how to use it properly over clocked this would probs out perform the i3 with the same card anyway good luck on your build an old discussion detailing all the facts i have just stated https://forums.daybreakgames.com/ps2/index.php?threads/checking-for-a-good-computer-for-play-ps2.243492/page-2#post-3433294

Now graphics cards come in all shapes and sizes really with a budget of £1000 even dollars any setup should give good frame rates What your looking for in graphics cards is cuda cores /ram /speed Say let's make one up the new nivida 10000 This has 1600 cuda cores (amount of data per tick) Ram would be DDR 5 10gbs (how much data it can hold) Speed of the ram in MHz say 2000 (max speed at which it can be transfered ) Now let's say nivida 10001 This has 1700 cuda cores Ram is DDR 3 10gbs And the speed is 1000 The above (10001) might seem better as its a 01 but yet its only got ddr3 which runs at a slower speed So would perform worse even though it had more cuda cores the mistake most make Me I would of took the ddr5 in a heart beat and just clocked the sucker seen as how now you can get it a fraction of the price of the 01 model Anything above 750ti or radion HD 8670 is going to be more than ample tbh depending on which and how much ram is involved etc I had the choice 4gbs DDR 5 with less cores or pay 50 more and get half the ram just doesn't make sense so I went with the 4gbs ddr5 I would rather the power was there than not having and needing an extra 2gbs ddr5 as GTA v runs almost 3.7 gbs of my 4gbs card at max settings PS don't waste your time with an i3 duel core as the only difference between that and yours is hyper threading (speed of transfer) if you want a 5 sec faster boot up go right ahead and waste good coins

The fx 9570 - 9370 require a high tdp motherboard these are going to be £130 + I think from memory there is only 11 -20 boards out at the moment that support this due to its high temp Is your processed socket fm2 or am2/3 I'm guessing is the same as mine fm2 If this is the case you a) need to upgrade your bios first and for most this will let you support the latist CPU for that board which you can check on the manufactures website Bios upgrades are generally a easy exe install take mins CPU I'm guessing but max supported for that board would be and a10 6800k which is a quad core (exact as mine ) which is a great processor and I have mine sitting at over clocked 6.3 GHz so that's 4x6.3 GHz process power at £90 these CPU is a steal considering Intel is 10x the price for less GHz I once explained it to some one as imagine a car amd has top speed 150mph Intel has top of 100 mph Amd takes 15 secs to get to that top speed Intel only takes 10 secs So in the long run buy amd as more bang for buck Don't mind wasting a few quid hit an intel but mind only the best would do with intel as at higher and clock speeds these will easy out power a low rated intel need help or advice on a system I've been building for 20 years If was me I would screw Intel's £400 CPU get amd a10 6800k some nice water cooling and all the basics for roughly half of that but then you arnt good with PC so maybe a plug and play intel would more suit your needs saves heavy over clocks which you won't need yet anyway as kicks out 4.4ghz standard (amd a10) but the choice is yours Programs to get the information you need are Cpu-z this will tell you all about your PC Google it get the board code look it up see what socket it is buy a processor and plug in Recommend any amd with water cooling these things run hot but power consumption ain't my concern overall power is ;-) need any more info hit me up with a message
