  1. So as we all know as soon as you finish the prolog everyone and their dog starts to call and message you with jobs. Before you know it you have stacked up a million jobs gigs and so on. My idea/suggestion is. What if you had to go visit the fixer before you start to get spammed by them? You get one call from each fixer. "Yo V it's (fixers name) some see me I have jobs." You go see them and then you start to get the jobs. Dunno if anyone else agrees but wouldn't that be better? Sorry if this has already been suggested I did try searching for something similar.
  2. Ah wait sorry. Just read the games patch notes Removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. which was not connected with the final version of the game and had no influence on it (it was a leftover file used during the development to estimate memory usage. It had no effect on how much memory was actually allocated). Perceived performance increase after editing the file may have been related to restarting the game.
  3. what happened to the mod for optimizing your ram budgets? I have noticed that the last update has removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. Has anyone worked out a way to manage these budgets. I was getting better performance with this.. :(
  4. whats the IK_ for mouse3 and mouse4? nm its IK_Mouse5 IK_Mouse4 IK_Mouse3 ;)
  5. Sorry if this has been asked before. Has anyone been able to make a mod/fix that fixes the squished map when using multiple monitors in full screen mode. The current solutions to play in borderless mode is not very good. As all HUD icons end up at the far sides of the screen.
  6. I'm not really sure what this would be called. So if it's already been done or suggested, sorry. Basically when travelling around the waste lands you find crafting stations. but they area effectively useless. Because you're never gonna be able to carry all your crafting supplies around with you. My idea(s) to solve this problem without game breaking immersion are: Have a caravan follow you around the waste land. (this would create a supply link with your settlements.) or Have a supply request beacon... (like calling in a vertibird but this brings one of your caravans to your location what gives you access to your settlement supplies.) You could have it the other way too. You have just collected loads of loot and now you have to travel back to your settlement to drop it all off. What if you could call someone to come and get it all for your? After all you are the general. My idea is to mark a chest as a collection point for one of your caravans. You could even put in a chance of some of the items going missing on the way back. I think this would be a good mod for the survival mode that's coming out.
  7. I do hope someone makes this possible. Vertibird travel seems pointless if you have already discovered the location XD.
  8. I would love this. It would save me hauling around a mining helmet everywhere.
  9. So my idea is to be able to 'tag' a container(s) as a collection point. Here you simply place items for collection. Then you goto your settlement and select a settler for the job of collection. Simple idea really. This would make looting the commonwealth much quicker and reduce all the fast travelling.
  10. Not sure if you know this but if you have a printer or have access to one you can print off your own paper map. Here's the fallout 4 map without the locations. http://2static.fjcdn.com/large/pictures/7c/3b/7c3b82_5733628.png http://2static.fjcdn.com/large/pictures/7c/3b/7c3b82_5733628.png
  11. So has anyone worked out a way to fix the hud when using 3 monitors? eyefinity setup. I'm sorry if this has already been asked but I did a search and found nothing...
  12. Is there a mod that will increase the number of attacks on your settlements? I only ask because I never get attacked....
  13. Mainly for base building. I would love to clipping walls n such so I can make that amazing base I always wanted....
  14. Yep you are grim XD. But all very good points. I hope some talented individuals make this a reality.
  15. If this already exists i'm sorry, but I have had a look and I can't seem to find a mod for it. I have found console commands for removing bodies but i'm thinking of a more immersive use for dead bodies in game. For example bodies contain resources that could be used in your settlements. "skulls and bones and such" I think it would be cool to have a mod that will allow one to utilise the resources in the dead bodies littered around the commonwealth. Or a Morgue type of work bench for settlements, a Dissecting Bench or a Post Mortem Table. You could use this to make grim types of trophies of your enemies. Such as impaled bodies on pikes. (requires 2 wood 1 steel and 1 corpse). God this is a grim idea.
