It could just be that you're running too many (and too heavy-duty) mods for your machine. Consider when this started to occur (did you add one or more mods to cause the ctds?) If you really don't have a clue as to why you started crashing, I would start removing mods and testing which combinations/amount of modded content works. I'm no expert, but I thought I'd throw my 2 cents your way since nobody else posted. Good Luck.

Why would I be unable to activate any mods requiring an .esp or .esm? I have both SkyrimPrefs.ini files including the bEnableFileSelection=1 line under launcher, and I have a Plugins.txt file in The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim/%USERPROFILE%/Local_Settings/Application_Data/Skyrim. Am I missing something basic? Any help or even partially related advice would be appreciated. Thanks for the help but I'm on a mac and I don't use steam. Edit: Update.esm is working as I can engage in combat on horseback, but still no other mods which require .esp/.esms. Tried changing load order of Update.esm and deactivating it, but still no other mods work.

Yeah a new game is just as messed up, but I don't know exactly what to get rid of in terms of files. :s

I'm not sure what caused this, (I was told possibly the incorrect uninstallation of a mod) but I now cannot use any of Skyrim's appliances (grindstones, arcane enchanters, forges, etc.) Whenever I attempt to do so, the camera adjusts as though I were about to start the animation for whichever appliance I'm at, but my controls are just frozen for a few seconds as it attempts unsuccessfully to run the animation and then my controls are returned but I can no longer change the camera in any way. Additionally, I can not hear any voices ingame, the animation for walking/running is replaced by a slide (the moving character stands still and moves forward) and I am unable to unsheathe weapons/spells. Any suggestions?

The only new mods I started using before the problem occurred are No Spinning Death Animation, No Twitching Dragon Death Animation, and Dovahkiin Relaxes Too. I think you're right in assuming that I probably incorrectly removed a mod, I'm thinking it was this Martial Arts mod I removed all of the associated files and disabled the .esp.

To avoid accidentally saving over a savegame from a different character, or just in general, it would be nice to have a way to create folders for savegames. Just a little more organization.

What would be really interesting is if in order to unlock the Mangekyou's powers you DID have to kill a follower... just a thought.

Unfortunately, it seems, there aren't many modders really interested in these Naruto mods. There are good mods for a few Naruto items (2 of the 7 ninja swordsmen's swords for example) but it would seem that there isn't that great of a demand. :( Someone prove me wrong!
