I did not look at your bmp. However the problem you describe sounds like when you removed the textures from one mod, not all textures were replaced by the other. I suggest uninstalling WATER, then using steam's verify game files option. This should write the missing original files back into your game. At that point you could reinstall WATER. Be aware that the verify game files option will rewrite your ini and prefs ini files, so if you have made any changes to those, you will want to make backup copies and keep them handy so you can easily revert back to them.

You need BOSS. There is no "specific mod that crashes" You get BOSS here. Choose the installer version for easiest installation. It is not a mod, it is a program. After you use it, read the log and take care of all the messages, like TES5Edit cleaning, proper placement of unrecognized mods, etc. The below may also help you.

Could anyone please tell my why I could be CTD?
Georgiegril replied to krittol's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Address all of the messages in your BOSS log, including the TES5Edit cleanings you mention, but also any messages about missing or needed patches, obsolete mods, unrecognized mods, all messages. Then, if you are still having problems, copy/paste your BOSS log instead of that mod list (just open your BOSS GUI and select to have the log rendered in text rather than html.) -
Go back to your last full save. Does that load? If so, the problem is with a corrupt auto or quick save, the solution is to play on from your last complete save. If your last full save does not work, it might be due to the mods you added, try removing them and then trying your last complete save from before they were first added. IF none of that help, post the text file of your BOSS log and other information as stated in the pinned thread on the top of this forum.

Did you take care of the other problems your BOSS log identifies, not just the TES5Edit cleaning?

Wow,you have a lot of messages in your BOSS log that need your attention. Clean the DLCs and mods that are flagged with TES5Edit, take care of messages like "this patch incompatible with..." properly play the unrecognized mods in their optimal plave in their load order, etc. After all that, if you are still having a problem I would wonder--did you ever have a mod like Immersive HUD, but removed it?

CTD when I try to enter Morthal after killing Morvarth.

Your BOSS list looks good to me, too. So, I guess we should look at a few other things. There is a possibility that you are simply looking at a corrupt save. These can happen to anyone randomly. They are more likely if you are using quicksaves or autosaves, but even without those you may get a rare one. Can you try loading your last full save and see if it loads properly? If it does, hopefully it is not too far from where your character is now, because the best thing to do would be to try to replay up to the point of your crash, where, hopefully, it will not crash again. If you do that and it does crash the problem is more complicated, but there is no point trying to pick your game apart before ruling out save file corruption. -
Yes, the birds or the mods/DLcs needing TES5edit cleaning could specifically be the cause of your problem.

Well, you need to take care of the messages in your BOSS log. Use TES5Edit to clean the DLCs and mods that are flagged. Just use the link in BOSS to get you to a tutorial on how to do that. Also, you are using a mod that states it is incompatible with Hearthfires and gives alternatives, and an obsolete mod. Definitely take care of that.

Bash tags are only suggestions if you use Wrye Bash to make a Bashed patch. Personally I have never needed to make one. Probably you are right about that unsorted mod. You do need to clean your DLCs, though. That may solve your problem. It seemed daunting to me at first, until I tried it. The tutorial makes it quite clear-cut, and the program makes a back-up you can go back to if you need to. But you probably wont need to. -
Well, the cause may be the mods you removed, or it may be the save cleaner you tried. I have no other ideas other than to start a new game using the STEP Guide revert to vanilla, then adding mods or other changes one at a time. If you want to remove a mod, return to a save from before it was first added. This is easier if you are adding them and testing them one at a time, and avoids any damage that might be done by removing mods or attempted fixes like save game cleaners.

You need to take care of all of those messages in your BOSS log (TESEdit cleaning, obsolete mods, unrecognized mods, patch problems, etc.) That may take care of it. If it does not please repost the log BOSS generates after you fix all of those things. -

Skyrim Legendary edition craches when booted with DLC
Georgiegril replied to NisFoTra's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Did you verify your game cache on Steam as vlaka instructed? That is important. If it is still not working, have you updated BOSS to 2.2? -
It sounds to me like your problem is with the reprocc. I believe dectivation will not solve your problem. Reading the instructions here may help you. (Takes you to T3ndo's mod page. Just steps 1 and 2 should be sufficient to your needs as you are not looking to customize.)

I was hoping that there might be some wonky line in your .ini files that would lead to a quick fix. No luck. As I have become perplexed, I took a look around the interweb, and found an article from microsoft relating to this issue. I found a fair number of forum articles on the Nvidia and Geforce boards, as well, though most end with the solution to reinstall drivers or use older versions. I know that you are meticulous about your driver installs--I just wonder, when you do this, to you disable Windows update and use driver sweeper? I have had issues with Windows dredging up old files from old backups to install when I am tryng to install new drivers, unless I do those things. Finally, have you captured the even in Skyrim performance monitor or some other performance log (like the windows logs)? I think it could be very useful to see what exactly is going on in your computer at the time you get the stopped working message.

To log your papyrus, add these values to the lines to your Skyrim.ini (the one in your documents/games/skyrim folder, not the one in your program files folder. [Papyrus]bEnableLogging=1bEnableTrace=1bLoadDebugInformation=1This will create your log, which you can find in My Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script. Just remember to turn those values back to ero when you are done troubleshooting. The act to recorning the log takes a lot of game resources and can cause performance issues of its own.

I have display cases in my mod that use the click to activate method. I never considered this atypical. There is a problem with speciality weapons from the DLCs (but not custom weapons like from mods like Jaysus) refusing to play nice with the cases. That I haven't fixed. To create them I used this tutorial: from the creation kit Wiki.

Black screen on all saves w/ HUD
Georgiegril replied to GandhisLunchbox's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Does it happen on a new game? -
Sorry, I don't click on random links due to security issues. Based on your BOSS log, you need to clean the DLCs with TES5Edit. That could be your problem. However, based on your statement that you removed mods, it could be that is your problem. The Skyrim engine does not support mod removal. Even when a mod authors instructions are followed exactly, any mod that contains scripts will not be completely removed, which could be causing your problem as well. The only way to completely remove the effects of a scripted mod from your game is to revert to a save prior to first adding the mod. This means that your save game is referring to a non existent mod, which can cause crashes. Finally, the fact that is crashes with skse suggests that you are looking at a problem with a mod that uses requires skse, as those will not load if skse loader is not used. It could be that you need to rerun the reproccer, or something like a conflict between skyre and racemenu.

Have you assigned administrator privileges (using right click, run as administrator on the icons) to Steam, Skyrim, skse, NMM? Are you connected to Steam?
