Although I like the Dark Brotherhood, the Mages Guild is my fav. Only thing I hate is the respawning cubboard in the arch-mages room, you may guess why

The line between truth and fiction in the Elder Scrolls universe is often blurry.
Wow, thanks! I'm going to look for that book at once!

Hey
I've been reading a lot of in-game books recently, and when I was reading History of the Empire V3, I found a very interesting name. Here's the fragment:
..."From out of a cimmerian nightmare" in the words of Eraintine, a man who called himself Camoran Usurper and led an army of Daedra and undead... - 3E 249
Well, it isn't an exact match witch Mankar Camoran, and he couldn't be 200 years old (I think), but could it be that Mankar Camoran is a distant relative of Camoran Usurper? Both battle the forces of the Empire, with help of Daedric forces.
Or could it be that Camoran Usurper was Mankar Camoran's idol? He did attack the empire, but eventually was defeated (the book doesn't say how, just that the empire did not have anything to do with it.) It seems there is another book "Fall of the Usurper" but I haven't found it yet. Has anyone else found it or found something related to this?

Company of Heroes is the best game I ever played. It really feels as if you're in the front line... And I've always liked the comments of the units: "Hans, they are scratching your paintjob" (if a tankhunter attacks a tigertank) or: "If a mouse farts in this [censor]minefield, I want his ass blown sky high!"
But when Opposing Fronts hits the stores, I think that will become my fav game

How come no one has said anything about the simpsons yet? I just love them.
"Kids, you have tried your best and failed miserably. The lesson is never to try." - Homer Simpson
"Why do today what you can postpone tomorrow?" - Fritz Derochebruen

Also something else to try i just thought of. *SPOILER WARNING* before even going to find Martin what happens if you just walk up to Cloud Ruler Temple? Do they attack or are the gates just locked?
The gates just stay locked. The first time I went up there, I didn't know what it was. I was looking for a secret entrance somewhere near the mountain, thinking you could gain acces to the temple through that. Later I noticed the castle was part of the MQ, and there is no secret entrance
Today I went to cloud ruler before looking for martin again (I always do that, so I can fast travel to there with martin immediatly) and found the gates open. I walked to the door to the inside, but those remained closed. There were some blades patrolling the area, but they didn't do anything. Even when I spoke to them, they just greeted me.
I quickly found the source of the open doors: Blades Captain Steffan. When I looked at him, I saw his health was only 50%. I didn't find any bodies, so the only reasonable explenation is that the captain fell of the wall o_O, but because he is set essential, he didn't die. As soon as he woke up, he entered cloud ruler again, but left the door open. And those guys protected the emporer... no wonder they failed :P

I wanted to do the tutorial dungeon again, so I started a new game. Just before Baurus went through the door at the beginning which separates the player from the emperor, I pickpocketed (don't know if this is correct, I'm not English) him and stole 3 strong potions of healing. Surprisingly it worked and he didn't do anything.
However, when I remet with the emperor and he said his guards shouldn't attack me, Baurus just went beserk. He started attacking me, with the other guard and the emperor doing nothing. I tried to yield, no use. So I started running through the entire dungeon, with Baurus on my tale.
He was a bit to enthousiastic though, and hit the emperor. Uriel got mad, pulled out his dagger and attacked Baurus, who was still chasing me. Man that was a crazy fight, with the other Blade just watching Uriel attacking Baurus, Baurus attacking me, and I running for my life.
All of a sudden, Baurus accepted my yield and stopped attacking me. Uriel was still in a frenzy though, and kept attacking a Baurus who didn't do anything back. Luckely I managed to stop him, so the story could continue.
I took me about half an hour to get both NPCs to stop attacking, but I sure had fun looking Uriel attack Baurus

Good idea, those fruit trees!
I would like to see
* some real castles, not just some next to the cities and a some ruins in the wild.
* a writeable section in your journal wouldn't be bad... I liked it very much in Neverwinter Nights.
* More guilds!
* Crossbows
* more provinces, cities and villages
* more NPCs (especially on the road)
* Of course, a main quest with multiple ending possibilities
That's all I can think of now. Have to get back to studying, my parents are driving me crazy

I think I hate that female guard of Leyawiin most. (from the draconis family)
I hate it how she reacts if you try to talk to her.
-
- I would like to sea that we can travel trough several provinces, for example from Elsweyr to Cyrodiil and Black March, with big changes in the landscape and culture between provinces.
- Furthermore I would like to see different apperances of weapons and armor. Now every Glass Helmet, Iron Longsword and Fur Cuirass look completely the same. The Fur Cuirass for example, is commonly worn by bandits. I don't think that all bandits wear armor wich looks the same. In the North it should be white, as you'll find more white fur. In the forests, however, it should be as it is now: brown, like deer fur.
- As I'm talking about weapons, visable damage would be nice. The longer you use a sword, the more 'cuts' it will have, when its health reaches zero, it will break in peaces.
- This is a rumer I've heard, and it probably won't be true, but the player might become the new ruler of Tamriel!
- More people on the roads between cities! It really gets lonely, only encountering bandits who don't like a little chat
- More real drinks, like wine, milk, etc.
- More stuff like skooma, fellmore and refined greenmote! I really like to storm into a dungeon while I'm on the greenmote, chopping everything down in my way...
- And of course, like most people want: more guilds
