  1. Keep in mind that cities may also be considered posts. As such, we require litle to no forts on the border to valenwood as kvatch and skindgrad border this province and would have a good line of sight on the border. The same applies to alll cities close to a border with another province. we only need to rebuild forts if they A)- are in strategic location such as a bridge, road, or town. B). guards a vacant border where there are no cities nor any other form of habitation.
  2. I pondered last night and today on what you have said, and have come to the conclusion that you are correct, the roofed towers should be replaced.
  3. It is not a mod thus far. I still have some work to accomplish on the outer sanctum (outer walls, barracks, stables, guard towers, ect). I also need to work on the prison. Once I update the images, you should be able to understand what I am striving for. Chow
  4. The Colovian Forts will have that too. As I said, I have not completed the outer sanctum for Fort Nikel yet. When completed, you will be able to acomplish alll said things in your quote.

I believe it would be a fine idea if you commit a crime in the wilderness or in a small town, the legion patrols would arrest you but rather than taking you back to the city, you would be jailed in a fort which has jurisdiction in the said area. For example, If I attacked a citizen in Weye but was sent to prison, I would spend my sentence in fort Nikel as that is the nearest Imperial garrison. Also, when recruiting help for Bruma, Senator Ocata refuses to send any legionaries. Of course, we could give the player the chance to receive additional help by helping certain forts which are under siege by oblivion gates. Once a fort is reieved, the garrison commander will consider dispatching a few of his/her men to relieve Bruma.
  6. As I told you in the personal message, we should stay with the Colovian Style forts. I also believe that creating new forts is a bad idea. We want this mod to be as least conflicting with the world of oblivion as possible. I also mapped those areas by which you designated on the map and they already have locations (oblivion gates, caves, aylied ruins, ect) on them. Bethesda made a thorough job placing locations throughout Cyrodil. This leaves very little free space. Also, the ruined forts which we will be rebuilding already are in certain strategic locations. Fort Nikel and Fort Ash are prime examples. Finally, adding morrowind style forts will be lore abrasive to the series as certain texts such as the "A Brief History of the Empire" highlight that many of the forts of the land were Colovian in Style. Also, the main reason why the forts in morrowind werre similiar to that of fortified towns was in part due to semi isolation. Vvardefell was a very rugged and impaasble land. Often, the forts would have to make due on their own for months without suppplies because f the heavy ash storms and the blight. In addition, theses forts were designed to repel raiding and querulous ashlanders as well as to supervise over ashlander tribes. The forts of Cyrodil are designed for other purposes. In any case, I do not believe that we should have morrowind style forts. The again, that is IMAO :biggrin:. :thanks: for your time.
  7. There are more fort meshes than the dungeon meshes. Castle meshes already exist.
  8. Actually, those are but the dungeons, storage areas, ect which we see. In rebuilding the forts, we would have many of the rooms in the main tower and in buildings surrounding the tower. With Fort Nikel, I have completed everything (exterior/interior) in the main tower. I am now reacreating the outer walls. here is a sample of what I did to the main tower. Fort Nikel
  9. I'm afraid to say that if that is all you are experienced at, you won't be of much use for your proposed project. Every project was in part due to the contribution of the whole team with each member knowing at least laymans knowledge of the construction set and various other utilities. If you wish to be taken seriously or even promote the chances of you project enduring into a full fledged mod, it is vital that you ascertain knowledge with the various utilities. Nifskope and Blender are optional but are still valuable assets.   10. Rage feeds upon rage which in turn leads to a endless cycle of anarchy, mistrust, and calumny. Such a mod as this I truly desire to manifest itself into a reality. Alas such hope are splinntered by such evils. If you truly desire to know the true reason as to why projects die, it is in part to division. All projects can be revived when there is strong unity. Disunity only leads to destruction.

To give attention to what troubles oneself is to recognize and feed the aspect of which you abhor. All that Ninja_lord666 is are but words, not actions. Words only harm those who allow themselves to be harmed by them. You are in your vitriolic rage overreacticing on words by which you can simply ignore. Ninja_Lord666 is not simply going to morph himself through your screen and attack you. Besides, by exerting such petulant rage, you are killing precious time which can be spent organizing your mod. My advice is ignore Ninja_lord66 if you object to what he says. Rather concentrate on organizing and planning your mod. No good will come through from senseless rage and drivel.   12. I recall hearing of a mod recently released where you could unequip your shield by putting it on your back. I never was able to to see the name of the mod, however, it is begining to take my fancy. Could one of you please find this mod. I do know it was uploaded on tes Nexus so i guess that will help somewhat. Good luck and thank you.
  13. I would say a video for deadly reflexes 3.0 but that has been really hackneyed to death on youtbe. My suggestions on videos would be . Community Dungeon Project . Unuiqe landscapes . real swords . AWS . MTAEVWD All these mods enhace the graphical beuty of oblivion and make you mavel at the landscape. I hope that helps
  14. Gothic 1 and 2 without a doubt was two of the finest games to exist. Those two games are classics. They were and still are a masterpeice of art to me. However do not judge the gothic series on gothic 3., that was a monstrosity and disgrace to the gothic series
